Happy New Year, everyone! Hope all of you have a great 2023 and may all your wishes come true.

Holding 2 Christmas parties on the 25th and the 31st was an experience.

It's been months since Aiger became the World Champion and Christmas had arrived and a new year 

had started. Aiger and Naru decided to have a Christmas party at their farm. The people at the party 

were the Beigoma Bey Club, the Wild Bey Gang, Valt, Shu and Y/N. Everyone was excited about the 

party and of course since it was New Year's Eve, presents will be involved.

Cheers could be heard through the forest. Valt, Shu and Y/N were the last three people to arrive at 

the Akabane's Farm. As they arrived near the gate, Naru was there waiting for them wearing a 

warm, blue coat and some cute earmuffs. Naru's smile widen and waved at the three trying to hurry 

them.

Naru: "You're here! Hurry, everyone's waiting!"

Valt: "Hey Naru, Merry Christmas!"

Y/N: "Merry Christmas, Naru."

Shu: "Merry Christmas."

Naru: "Merry Christmas, guys! Now, come on, mum and dad are almost finished with the feast!"

The four quickly went inside the house, to see everyone chatting away not noticing their arrival. 

Kana came over to greet them while holding a tray of Christmas cookies.

Kana: "Welcome. Thank you for coming and Merry Christmas!"

Y/N: "Thank you for inviting us over to this party. We'll enjoy ourselves."

Kana gave her a closed-eyed smile and each of them took a treat and joined everyone else. Shu 

joined with Fubuki, Toko and Suoh, Valt joined with Aiger and Ranjiro, and Y/N joined with the girls; 

Nika, Kris, Gumi and Naru.

Kris: "Is everyone excited for tonight's firework show?"

Naru: "I definitely am!"

Gumi: "I guess..."

Nika: "I'm mostly excited for the Midnight fireworks."

Y/N: "Huh? Why's that?"

Nika sent her a sly smile.

Nika: "Weeell, I found a good spot for you and Shu to be alone with together for... you know what."

The girls around let out a soft laugh as Y/N let out a huff, scratching her cheek with a small sweattear

and a light shade of pink. Y/N coughed to get their attention on elsewhere.

Y/N: "Aaanyways, let's focus on something else please."

The girls smiled and nodded and moved on to a new topic quickly.

As for the boys, they were discussing Aiger's success in becoming the World Champion and the 

Christmas festivities.

Shu: "I suppose you guys are taking a break from Beyblade during the holidays?"

Fubuki: "Yeah, but we'll be practising when we want to."

Toka: "Valt will help me train stronger and I might as well beat Aiger for the belt!"

The guys chuckled and smiled at Toka's statement. Suoh turned to Shu with his usual sly smile and a 

hand under his chin.

Suoh: "Say, Mr Kurenai how are you and Y/N these past few months? You two seem to get along 

very well, should I say? Or are the two of you excited for midnight later?"

Fubuki swatted his shoulder, and Toka looked away drinking away his apple juice. Shu coughed 

through his hand with a tint of pink on his cheeks, furrowing his eyebrows a bit uncomfortable to 

speak.

Shu: "We're doing great. Nothing else is happening, alright?"

Suoh chuckled away and moved on to a new subject that made the other two immediately get into 

to put away the awkwardness. Shu sighed and told them he'd be talking with Valt and Aiger.

In truth, Shu and Y/N have been dating since Shu met Y/N at the Dread Tower who was travelling 

with Aiger and Ranjiro to fight Hyde. And they hit it off after their worried for Aiger and decided to 

help him after his Achilles broke by Phi. They dated for a couple of weeks and kept it a secret to 

protect Y/N from Phi seeing how dangerous he was. After Phi was defeated that's when their 

relationship was revealed but only to their friends. They were slightly uncomfortable but they were 

glad.

Aiger and Valt were happily chatting away, AIger going a bit overboard with him being the World 

Champion and all.

Aiger: "Hey, Shu. How's the party?"

Shu: "It's great. Thanks for inviting us again."

Aiger: "Yup! Anyways grab a snack quickly, we're gonna go to one of the best spots for fireworks 

watching. I also found a good spot for you and Y/N~! Heheheh! I'll tell you where it is."

Shu: "Ah-hem! Thank you for that, Aiger. We'll think about your offer."

Aiger laughed away while saying 'you're welcome' as Valt chuckled scratching his cheek feeling bad 

for Shu, who was also uncomfortable. Perhaps they should have kept their relationship a secret.

Shu: 'I hope Y/N will be alright with this.'

A loud clap brought everyone's attention to Taiga, wearing his winter coat and a warm hat.

Taiga: "Alright everyone, it's time to get going for the firework show!"

Everyone was up on top of a hill and was getting ready themselves and getting in positions to get a 

view of the fireworks. But first off, the fireworks started off with some basic ones. Whilst everyone 

was focusing on the fireworks Shu whisked Y/N away from everyone else to a spot Aiger 

recommended. They walked up to a tree that somehow had a ladder ready. Y/N climbed up first 

then Shu followed after and both sat comfortably watching the fireworks.

Y/N: "I suppose Aiger recommended this place to you?"

Shu nodded a bit embarrassed making Y/N chuckled and placed her head on his shoulder. Shu 

looked over at her and was about to peck her head but stopped and looked at his phone to see it 

was only 11:57 PM. He sighed and leaned his cheek against her head feeling a vibrant chuckle from 

her.

Y/N: "A little peck wouldn't hurt you know?"

Shu: "No thanks, I want to kiss you properly on the lips when it struck midnight. It is the New Year's 

Eve Kiss after all."

Y/N: "You sure love to follow traditions."

Shu hummed and looked at his phone again to see it was already 11:59 almost time till midnight. 

Shu took a deep breath and let it out and turned to Y/N, she lifted her head to him sitting up.

Y/N: "You really wish to be cheesy about this."

Shu didn't say anything but narrowed his eyes at her with a blush on his cheeks and placed his hand 

on the back of her head. He looked away and heard the echoes of friends counting down from 5 

seconds already.

Shu: "Well, every boyfriend has to be cheesy once in a while."

Y/N: "Haha, suuure."

Shu smirked and leaned in and the two kissed under the New Years' Eve fireworks as another Year 

has started in their lives.
