SHU [P.O.V.]

I woke up groggily this morning. I looked down at my girlfriend, Y/N, who has her arms around my torso and snugging in my chest. I had my arms wrapped around her waist protectively. We have been dating for 3 months and she lives with me now after her parents went on a business trip and were almost never home just like mine.

I let out a slight light blush and pecked her head. I slowly but gently moved and got out of the bed to make breakfast. I went inside the bathroom and as soon as I looked at myself in the mirror I had CAT EARS?!

"What the─!?"

I didn't mean to shout because I heard Y/N fall of the bed. Not after a few seconds later, I heard a light running steps coming towards the bathroom, I heard Y/N knock on the door.

Y/N: "Shu? Is everything okay? I heard you shouting just now."

I didn't know what to answer but since we're living together I don't think I can hide from her whenI'm looking like this.

"Y-Yeah... Sorry if I woke you up... Just... Make sure you don't freak out when you see this... Okay?"

Y/N: "Um... Sure? Okay?"

I slowly opened the door and I heard Y/N gasp but I didn't meet her gaze as I was embarrassed. Suddenly I was tackled into a hug and Y/N started leaving butterfly kisses on my face.

Y/N: "You're so cute!!"

My face was scarlet red.

"H-Hey! This is a problem, y'know! I can't go to school like this! And I don't want anyone to make fun of me like this... [groan]."

Y/N: "Want to tell the Beyclub?"

"...Yeah. But... I'm getting a bad feeling about this."

~AT SCHOOL ON THE ROOFTOP~

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH?!"

Valt: "S-S-So... Is Shu going to be like this... forever?"

Y/N and I arrived at school and when it was recess we saw everyone present on the rooftop. We told them about my cat ears.

Y/N: "I wouldn't think so Valt. I'm sure it's just perminent. Maybe it will last a week or less or more?

I'm not entirely sure... As much as I love him like this I don't want him to be like this forever... [sigh].

Honcho: "So, what are you going to do now, bud'? You're gonna look pretty sus in school."

"[sigh] Well... I might have to stay home sometime. And someone has to bring me homework."

Y/N: "I'll bring your homework don't worry. Besides, we'll have to wait for this to wear off. In the meantime, that would mean you have to stop training or else chaos will happen."

Daigo: "She's right. Who knows what will happen to you if one of your fangirls saw you like this or anyone who's around you."

Keru: "Yeah! What they said. It'll be a mess to clean up!"

Besu: "Yeah! This is something really urgent that no one absolutely no one must know!"

I thought about it for a moment and sighed.

"Fine. I guess stop for only a little while. Once this is off I'm going back to training."

Valt: "Sounds good."

'I really hope this is gone soon.'

I mentally cried inside and and Y/N had to comfort back at home.

~3 DAYS PASS~

Y/N [P.O.V.]

I came back to Shu's and my shared apartment after buying food, only to find him sulking on the couch lying down and his face buried into the pillow and mumbling something on it. I felt a bit of depression aura around him. I sweatdropped at him.

For the past three days, Shu was alright on the first day, he was himself. On the second day he was just chillin' at home we were watching a movie and I had the urge to pet his ears so I did, he enjoyed it and a purr slipped out, his face turned beet red.

On the third day, he may have been clingy a bit when I was away at school, and he was a bit flustered about it and I was thinking some cat instincts started rising in him. I walked up to and sat on the couch and patted his head, his ears then started to twitch and I heard him purr.

"What's the matter, snowflake?"

Shu [mumbling in the pillow]: "I just want this to be over..."

"I know, I know... But I still want you to be like this forever."

Shu looks up from the pillow and playfully glares at me.

Shu: "...No."

"Hehe..."

Shu got up and then he wrapped his arms around me and snuggled his head on my chest listening to my heartbeat. I then hear him purr and his ears and tail were twitching/swinging. I just smiled at his cute attitude and started patting his head.

"Your so cute, Shu."

I saw Shu blush and tightened his grip around my waist. I giggled and continued my patting with him.

~2 DAYS PASSED~

2 days passed and Shu was back to normal. And I was missing Shu as a cat. I was just looking through some posts of cats on my phone in Shu's bed. I was also looking through some cosplays of people as cats. Shu then walked in and somehow caught me off guard by snuggling against my chest and wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Shu?"

Shu: "I think I still have the cat instincts kicking in me."

"Hehe. Aww. Well, you're my kitty cat, y'know?"

Shu: "Heh, yeah."

And we continued to cuddle in Shu's bed the rest of the day.
