𝓗𝓮𝓱... 𝓭𝓮𝓯𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓼𝓮 𝓶𝓸𝓷𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼 𝓪𝓻𝓮 𝓸𝓷 𝓮𝓪𝓼𝔂 𝓽𝓸 𝓱𝓪𝓻𝓭 𝓵𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓵𝓼, 𝔂'𝓴𝓷𝓸𝔀?

Y/N L/N is a magical girl, and on a mission to get rid of all the monsters on her earth, her family, and relatives had all died by old age or were taken away by them. Y/N is only 15 and has potential magic, which means she can attract any monster, little or big, she can handle them, but the problem is whenever she and her friends hang out, a monster appears not quite far from them and always makes up so many excuses.

Y/N finished dealing with a medium monster and took her several rounds. She was getting tired and seemed she won't make it to her friend's Bel sleepover.

Y/N: "Haaa... that was... tiring. It almost killed me... but..."

Y/N remembered her promise to her friend Ilya. Well, mostly Ilya made a promise to both of them.

~FLASHBACK~

Ilya: "I am NOT taking a 'no' for an answer, Y/N!"

Y/N grumbled under her breath, with an uncomfortable look.

Ilya: "Look, whatever business you got has to wait. Come to the sleepover at Bel's by 8:30 PM! That's a promise! And Shu's coming over too!"

Then Ilya popped out her rollerblades and skated away before Y/N could protest to her.

~END OF FLASHBACK~

Y/N: 'Aaah... Ilya...'

Y/N didn't want to go but here she was at Bel's home but she did want to see Shu. Y/N sighed and knocked and the door immediately by Ilya who dragged her in straight away. Ilya dragged her to the living room where everyone else was there. Bel, Hanna, Shu, Valt, Wakiya, Ranzo, Bashara and even Rashad were already in the living room sitting in circles and talking amongst themselves. Hanna got up to greet Y/N. Y/N could see Shu gave her a smile and a wave as she nervously waved back.

Hanna: "Y/N! You're here! Glad you could make it!"

Y/N forced herself a small smile.

Y/N: "Thank you, Hanna, but I better get changed."

Hanna: "I'll take you to the bathroom. Follow me."

Y/N walked away with Hanna behind her to the bathroom. Once they go to the bathroom, Y/N finished dressing in her nightgown and paused for a minute and sensed magic nearby, which means there was a monster.

Y/N: 'Are you kidding me, why now?!'

But, the monster's sense was weak so he wasn't anywhere near Bel's house. Hanna sensed her distress.

Hanna: "Is something wrong?"

Y/N: "It's nothing, Hanna."

Y/N quickly reassured her nothing was wrong and they quickly left the bathroom and arrived back in the living room and chatted with everyone else and played games. By the time it was time for bed Y/N excused herself to the kitchen. Ilya had a feeling she had somewhere to go.

Ilya: "I'm going after her."

Valt: "We'll go with you!"

Valt and everyone else got up and went after Y/N, who quickly ran out of the door to the outside and into the forest. As they all ran after, they could only see a faint of H/C hair in the dark before it completely disappeared and everyone was frantically looking for her.

Wakiya: "Why would she come here?"

Everyone only shrugged before they stopped when they heard a roar and rumble from the ground. Some of them fell to the ground as others held steady.

Ranzo: "What the heck was that?!"

Bashara: "Over there!"

Everyone turned to where Bashara pointed it out. They saw a creature whose body was covered with tree chunks and had sharp claws, no face but a hole in its forehead.

(I had to find the least terrifying monster)

Everyone was frozen at the creature but one of them heard someone calling out to them. Shu turned his head to see Y/N, with a bloody forehead and saw blood leaking from her left/right arm. Shu's eyes widen and turned to the others snapping them out and walking over to the injured Y/N.

Bel: "Y/N! What happened?! You just left and you're already injured?"

Y/N quickly shushed him as they heard the monster growling looking for its prey but stopped and Y/N released a relief and glared at Bel.

Y/N: "That hollow caught me off guard pretty badly."

Shu: "Hollow?"

Y/N: "Yeah, that is called a hollow, it's a monster that's blind and has no good sense of hearing but can any movement. And if you ask why it's because of the trees around us. And also, why did you follow?!"

Y/N glared at all of her friends. Some apologized while explaining and others looked away. She only sighed and rubbed her forehead and forgave them just this once. Y/N stretched her hand out and magic swirled around her arm as a staff appeared.

(Choose whatever)

Everyone awed at it but quickly snapped out of it as the hollow roared.

Y/N: "The rest of you go back to the house and I'll finish that hollow, okay?"

Everyone had weren't sure but this was Y/N's business, not theirs, they wanted to help her but they knew nothing about it and how they can beat it this was not a Beyblade battle. Everyone left except for Shu.

Y/N: "What are you doing, Shu? Go with the others."

Shu: "No, if your to injured and can't come back inside in time, who knows what will happen to you? I'll carry you back to Bel's."

Y/N didn't say anything and chuckled with her eyes closed and stood up to face the monster, with her staff ready.

Y/N: "I should be the one to say that to you. You're a normal kid, Shu. You're strong in battle but not this kind of battle."

Shu: "Y'know, you won't change my mind."

Y/N smiled and turned to Shu.

Y/N: "I know. But, since you insist. Be right back."

Before Y/N could jump out, Shu grabbed her arm and turned her around and kissed her, surprising Y/N. It was a short kiss, but Shu's lips were warm against hers. Shu broke them apart and Y/N's lips felt numb.

Shu: "Be safe, alright?"

Y/N nodded, slowly, and walked out of the hiding to face the hollow. The hollow's body slowly turned to her, its claws sharpening.

Y/N: "Now, let's finish this shall we?"

Shu: "Sheesh... who knew the battle with a hollow would be intense?"

Shu was carrying Y/N back to the mansion. She was all bloodied up, with claw marks showing from her side, her nightgown ruined, but Shu covered her with his jacket. The hollow was defeated its body perished.

Y/N: "Heh... defeating these monsters are on easy to hard levels, y'know?"

Shu glanced at her before looking away.

Shu: "Are you going to keep perishing those monsters until you're dead or by the time you are married and retire?"

Y/N didn't reply, Shu looked back behind her, to see she was asleep, hearing her soft snores. Shu smiled at her and continued their back to Bel's mansion.

Shu: "I'll always be by your side, Y/N."
