The school was buzzing with the student's chatter. The girls gossip in groups about the upcoming School Dance, who to ask, should they go as friends or go together with their date like double dates. The Beyclub walked through the hallway looking around themselves.

Honcho: "Man. The School Dance has gotten everyone to go crazy."

Valt: "I don't get why everyone makes such a big deal."

Valt looked around curiously as everyone talked around about the dance. Wakiya scoffed at the young blader, crossing his arms. Lifting his face towards the ceiling with a smug look.

Wakiya: "Silly Valt. A School Dance is where everyone can get themselves a girlfriend or boyfriend."

Everyone else just stared at him with a disappointed and expected look. Valt just nodded in understanding, to which he clearly didn't. The only thing on that mind of his is Beyblade and the Beyclub.

Daigo: "... Yeah... that's not what School Dance is all about. It's just having fun. But everyone else's mind is elsewhere. But it's like a dance party."

Valt: "Oh okay!"

Wakiya mumbled under his breath and turned away saying his example was better.

???: "You guys are also talking about the dance?"

The group turned to see Y/N and Shu walking towards them. A couple of the girls and boys were gawking at them. Whispering to one another. The two blading couples in Blading history. Of course, everyone had assumed they were dating except they weren't... Probably. Probably not.

Y/N: "I never expected you guys to talk about the dance other than Beyblade. You guys going to the dance or what?"

Besu: "Hey, Y/N. Hey Shu. We weren't thinking of going to the dance. Were you guys going?"

Y/N: "I am. And so is Shu."

The Beyclub then looked surprised when Y/N said Shu was going. It didn't seem his style.

Honcho: "Really? THE Shu Kurenai. Going to the dance? That's crazy!"

Hearing that made the halls go even crazier. The girls giggled even crazier like hyenas, leaning against one another, obviously wanting to ask Shu to be their partner. But, they didn't want to get on Y/N's bad side or steal Shu away from her assuming they were going together. And they also still
assumed they were going out anyways.

The same thing goes for the boys. Eyeing Y/N with hungry eyes like wolves. Also wants to take Y/N to the dance but they have seen how Shu is when he is angry or more upset. And besides, she was too good for them is what they all thought.

Keru: "Ha! To think Shu Kurenai would go to the dance. You two going together?"

Y/N: "We were planning to go together but we thought you wanna come with us as The Beyclub."

Valt: "Oh really! Yeah sure, we'll go!"

Everyone turned to Valt in surprise. Y/N only smiled in glee. Shu... well Shu, looked like he wanted to go by himself. This was going to be great.

The Dance party had gone great. When everyone arrived, they all either arrived with friends or on a date. And everyone had expected as soon as Y/N and Shu walked in like the Prom King and Queen. And they only saw the Beyclub as extras people.

The dance went on with everyone having fun, playing games and eating snacks. Y/N and Shu were dancing on the dance floor with other students who had their dates. The Beyclub watching them with their punches and snacks in hand.

Honcho: "No doubt about it. They're dating. Absolutely."

Honcho slurped on his punch and eyed the couple dancing happily and laughing together. Daigo munched on his chip disagreeing. The others went somewhere else to play Beyblade.

Daigo: "Just drop it Honcho. They haven't shown any sign of being a couple."

Honcho: "I know when there's a relationship."

Keru: "Despite you being still single?"

Honcho: "Yeah⎯ wait what?!"

Ken and Daigo chuckled under their breath as Honcho grumblingly turned away. Sipping his punch and almost choking on it for drinking it too fast.

Y/N laughed at Honcho coughing out his drink. Daigo patted his back to cool him down. Ken trying to cheer him up.

Y/N: "Aren't you bothered by them and everyone else thinking we're all a couple?"

Shu glanced at the crowd watching them with envy. He looked back to her eyes with something gleaming behind his eyes.

Shu: "Why should it?"

Shu moved them towards somewhere in the gym, where nobody could see them. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her closer. She could feel the butterflies fluttering in her stomach but kept her cool smile.

"I mean, you are mine, right?"
