Shu looked around in the darkness, he looked up and his breath hitched. It was Spryzen, except this was the Spryzen when he was Red Eye. He turned sharply and tried to get away but only came face to face with Red Eye not too far from him, he also held someone in his arms.

Red Eye smirked deviously and held a smug look as he looked into his eyes. Holding the person closer in his arms.

Red Eye: "You know you can never deny me. You were more powerful when you were me. You're a lot weaker now, after getting defeated by Phi. Even Y/N is disappointed in you."

Shu furrowed his brows and the person turns around with cold eyes staring into his own. His crimson eyes widen to see Y/N in his arms. She was dressed differently.

Shu felt like his world was crumbling, he saw how her lips were moving but can't seem to make out what she was saying.

His vision then suddenly got blurry, Red Eye smirking at him. Y/N gave him cold eyes. And the ground beneath him suddenly disappeared and started falling to the depths of darkness.

Sitting up in shock, removing some sweat from his forehead, Shu heaved a sigh. Rubbing his eyes, removing his head from the bed and sitting on the edge.

Shu: "It was just a dream. Just a dream..."

He grabbed a bundle of his hair moving it out of the way from his eyes. Closing his eyes as he sighed deeply.

He flinched when he felt arms wrap around his waist, the figure leaning their head against his shoulder.

???: "Are you alright, hun?"

Shu smiled weakly and turned his head, placing a kiss on her head. Placing his hand over hers.

Shu: "I'm fine, just had a nightmare. Nothing serious."

That made Y/N worried and snuggled closer to him, feeling her chest press against his back. She gently rubbed his side, reassuring him. Shu smiled when he felt Y/N comforting him, he loved how she always comforts him in his bad moments.

Y/N: "I'll be here for you, you know that right? You can rely on me."

Shu nodded against her head. After some time, Shu felt refreshed and both cuddled until Shu's nightmare disappeared. The moon glistened through the windows, giving them the best dreams.
