The sound of scribbling and the antique clock ticking was only heard in the study room of Prince Shu. He was busy dealing with shipping deals from other kingdoms. Some of the deals were weapons and food.

As he finished the last of the papers, he heard a thump outside his window. He got up from his chair, opened the window, and looked around to see nothing was there. Seeing that he was clear, he closed the window and returned to his work.

???: "Hard work?"

Shu stepped back to see a person in black clothing with silver armour on them. She sighed and rolled his eyes going around them.

Sitting back in his seat he picked up his feather and grabbed another piece of paper to start writing a letter.

Shu: "Couldn't you have knocked instead of sneaking in, Y/N?"

Y/N L/N. Shu Kurenai's ninja bodyguard. She is one of the best female ninjas there are. She has a good way of sneaking up. And it seems she had something dealt with. She leaned against his chair watching him do his work.

Y/N: "No promises. And besides knocking on doors are not for ninjas."

Shu: "So, what were you doing."

Y/N removed her arm from his chair and leaned against his armstand taking out her dagger and admiring herself against her reflection.

Y/N: "Oh, y'know. Just patrolling around. Knocking out some assassins that will come in your way to get rid of you."

Shu stopped his writing and grabbed her wrist, pulling it in front of his face. He frowned as he saw a small scar on her arm, it looked recent. Probably what he heard outside was a little fight between her and the assassin.

Shu: "You're injured. You should get treated."

Y/N: "Psh! I'm fine. I can treat it myself. I've done this many times. A small scratch is nothing."

Y/N pulled her hand back and rubbed the injured arm. Shu only stared and then he moved to get up and went over to his cupboard and rummaged through to take out a box of medication supplies.

He walked back over and placed it on the table and grabbed a bottle of alcohol and a bandage. He grabbed her arm and pulled her over to his table, grabbed her waist and made her sit on his desk. He then grabbed her arm and showed himself the injury and started to treat it.

Y/N stayed still and quiet as she let her Prince treat the wound. She tried her best not to allow the blush to rise on her cheeks.

Shu: "Even if you're my bodyguard or if you're a ninja. You still need to be treated. I would be worried if something happened to you."

Y/N: "... All right. Thank you."

And after that whenever he or she gets injured they would treat each other's wounds. Whether big or small, they would care for them.
