The nutcracker! It's been so long. Just so you know I only watched a Tom and Jerry one I never watched other nutcracker movies ever. Also I have no idea what I was writing here. Some scenes you might recognize from Barbie in the Nutcracker movies.

Dancing on stage always takes reality away. Closing her eyes and imagines herself in a dreamland where she can dance freely. The soothing music playing in the background⎯

A clap snapped her out of a dream and she sighed and turned to her father and her mother standing by the door with smiles on their faces. They were clapping for her performance.

Father: "Wonderful dance, my dear."

Mother: "It was awing. Perhaps you could take part in a competition one day.
"
Y/N: "Thank you. Is it time already?"

Her mother nodded and led her to the living room. There sat a large Christmas tree sitting near the fireplace. Presents were littered around the tree. Her younger brother and sister were sitting near the fireplace and had already opened their gifts.

Mother: "Your gift is right here."

Her mother gave her a wrapped gift. Y/N sat on the couch and unwrapped it and she took out a solider nutcracker.

Y/N: "A nutcracker."

Y/N held it in her hands examining it. She moves the left arm up and down making the mouth open and close. She looked at her mother and thanked her. She smiled and sat down next to her and her brother said that he looked ugly and of course, S/N just hit the back of his head.

Y/N: "He's wonderful, mother."

Mother: "He is. What your brother said about him doesn't matter. Whether his appearance is ugly or not. He has a heart of a prince on the inside."

B/N: "Then, I'm going to use him for my new army!"

B/N snatched the nutcracker out of her hands and ran back to his toys. S/N didn't allow him before Y/N could take it back.

S/N: "Hey! You can't do that! That's Y/N!"

S/N took it out of his hands and went back to give it back to Y/N. But, B/N grabbed the legs and tried to pull it back towards him and they both started a tug of war. Their father tried to stop them but in the end. They pulled the nutcracker too hard that, the arm of his broke not too broken.

S/N held the nutcracker in her hand. B/N felt bad about breaking the arm. S/N walked to Y/N and handed her the Nutcracker. The mother scolded them both for breaking the arm of the soldier.

Y/N got up from the couch and went to the bookshelf to find the medic aid box. She found it and took out a pair of scissors and a bandage. Cutting it into a small length and wrapping it around him. She quickly repaired him easily.

B/N and S/N walked over to their big sister. Y/N turned to them as they held guilty looks on their faces.

B/N: "I'm sorry, Y/N. I should have asked for your permission."

S/N: "I'm sorry too."

Y/N: "It's fine. But next time be more careful."

The two nodded and Y/N sighed. She looked at the nutcracker in her hands feeling solemn for him. And she had thought she had seen a glimmer in his eye but she brushed it off.

It was night now and Y/N had fallen asleep on the couch. Her family had let her sleep and her mother placed a blanket on her so she doesn't wake up cold in the morning. But instead of waking up in the morning, she woke up to a battle. Her nutcracker soldier against some mice.

She had intervened between the nutcracker and the rat which held a sceptre in his hand and had shrunk her to the size of a mouse and she was defenceless not having a weapon on her but she knows combat.

Before she could knock the lights out of him, the nutcracker had stepped in front of her with his sword in one hand. He almost lost in the end if it weren't for Y/N. Despite being her looking so 'fragile' and doing a lot of ballet she headstrong girl.

After the mice were defeated and raced back inside the hole in the wall. This was a chance for Y/N and the nutcracker to have a talk.

Nutcracker: "Are you alright?"

Y/N: "I'm fine. But I could have handled it myself. I know myself combat."

Nutcracker: "Well, sorry to ruin your parade."

Y/N: "Mind telling me what is going on here?"

Nutcracker: "First off, I'll introduce myself. My name is Shu. And what is going on is the mouse king is searching for more power and an army. And as you must know I am on my way to the Shimmerrose Princess. To help me undo this curse he placed upon me."

Y/N: "A curse? You're telling me that you used to be..."

Shu: "Human? Yes. That is until he turned me into a nutcracker."

Y/N: "I'm sorry to hear that. I'll help you on your journey. And besides I'm not going to stay small."

Shu: "The more the merrier."

Their travel to the Shimmerrose Princess was an adventure. Almost getting trapped in an icey place if it weren't for the ice fairies helping them out. Ending up in a firey place, where there were sleeping dragons everywhere and their fire breaths creating fire fairies guiding them the way out.

And after through ups and downs, going through danger and danger they were finally on the right path. They had gone quiet during the walk. They hardly took a breath and a rest after going through a series of events that Y/N never thought she would end up in.

Y/N: "So, what will happen to you once you change back?"

Shu: "I might as well go home. What do you think will happen to you?"

Y/N: "I think... I might wake up from this so-called dream."

Shu: "Do you still really believe this is a dream?"

Y/N only shrugged and let out a hum and continued on the path. His question clouded her mind. Would she disappear and wake up from this fairytale dream? What would happen to Shu? Y/N snapped out of it and looked ahead of her.

Y/N: "Hey, look over there."

Y/N pointed towards a castle up ahead of her. From the looks of it. It didn't look good at all. Up ahead of them were mouse guards patrolling the area. Y/N and Shu moved out of their line of sight and hid behind some rocks and looked over.

Y/N: "Looks like the mice have beat us to it."

Shu: "The mouse king probably has the Princess in captive somewhere in her castle."

Y/N: "In these kinds of situations there should be a secret passage somewhere."

Shu nodded and they both quickly went around the castle to find a passage or some sort of entry to get inside the castle. Eventually, they found a mouse hole to sneak inside. It felt like going through a maze but they found the exit quickly and found themselves at the top of the throne room. They looked over the balcony and the Shimmerrose Princess was sitting on her throne with two mouse guards holding her captive.

Y/N could see from their position there she saw shackles holding the Princess down. They hear the doors open and here came the mouse king himself. His voice echoes through the throne room. He was telling the Princess about the condition of the kingdom.

And that tells them that the kingdom wasn't going stand still much longer. Shu and Y/N retreated into the shadows before any of the mice spot them.

Y/N: "What's the plan?"

Shu: "I can distract the mouse king and his minions and attract their attention away from you and the Princess. Find a way around the back and free her."

Y/N nodded and both split up and went to put their plan into action.

Y/N slowly crept up behind the throne as Shu and the mouse king battled it out all the guards in the throne room discarded their attention away towards them. The Princess got startled when she felt her shackles move and turned to Y/N who made a shushing motion.

She nodded and faced the battle and looked as if everything wasn't alright but still had a hopeful look. Y/N glanced up a little and saw Shu brought down on the ground and the mouse king drew closer to him. But he recovered fast and blocked the attack from him.

Y/N mentally sighed in relief and was almost done with the shackles. And a few more seconds she quickly freed the Princess and was just in time too as Shu was almost done with his stamina. Just as the mouse king was about to finish him he was blasted away by magic.

Shu looked over to see the Shimmerrose Princess freed and the two mice got knocked out by Y/N as she was twisting her wrist to ease the pain. He grinned at the accomplishment. Shu stood up and the other two joined his side and the mice surrounded them preventing them from escaping.

Shu: "I hope you withstand them, Y/N."

Y/N: "I know my own strength, nutcracker."

They came out victorious and the kingdom was saved. After the kingdom was saved the Princess said she will aid what they will say. Y/N and Shu explained their situation to the Shimmerrose Princess.

Shimmerrose Princess: "So, you came all the way here to break the curse from him?"

Y/N: "Yes. Can you heal us?"

Shimmerrose Princess: "Yes. But, I should tell you. Once it is broken you'll go back to your world."

She nodded and held both her hands towards them. The two stood still, Y/N and Shu held hands. Saying their last wishes in their mind hoping to see each other again. The light wrapped around them and they felt their touch slowly disappearing.

Y/N jolted from her sleep and looked around for her nutcracker but it was nowhere to be found. She quickly got out of bed and her father and her siblings walked inside but her mother was nowhere to be found.

Y/N: "Father, have you seen my Nutcracker?"

Father: "Hmm? No? I didn't. Did you get that as your gift? Because you got a C/N as your gift."

Y/N let out a confused sound but shook her head and told her family her dream. Her sister was fascinated and wished she was in it too. Her brother thought it was ridiculous and stupid and their father flicked his head.

Father: "It must have been a wonderful adventure you have endured."

Y/N: "It was."

Then her mother walked into the living room and she had brought a guest along. Y/N's eyes widen in surprise and couldn't stop herself from smiling. The gues her mother has brought was Shu.

Shu smiled at everyone but kept his gaze locked on Y/N. Her father saw that and eyes the boy carefully but her mother stopped him from doing anything stupid. They both smiled at each other as her siblings looked between them with disgust and the mother ushered everyone to leave them alone.

Shu stepped closer towards her and grabbed her hands. Bringing one of her hands towards his lips and pressing a longing kiss on the back.

"It is nice to officially meet you, princess."
