And this is the last oenshot I got and honestly I could've used under the moonlight one to finish this book but I feel like a small normal one shot is good

Y/N and Shu were relaxing at their new home. They were 26 and 27 years old. Y/N sighed as she flopped back against the couch, her legs laying over Shu's. It's been, what, about 11 or 12 years since they were kids, battling with their Beys, laughing, and having fun training with friends—all those good friends they made. Y/N was going to miss those days. Shu looked up from his tablet, peering over the reading glasses he had acquired 5 years ago.

Shu: "What's wrong?"

Y/N looked over at him, sat up, and crawled towards him to lay against him. Shu moved his tablet away, placing it on the table, and removed the glasses from his face, leaving them beside the tablet as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Shu: "You miss everyone?"

Y/N: "I miss our childhood."

Shu chuckled softly, his hand weaving through her hair.

Shu: "I know you do."  

Y/N mushed her face against his chest and mumbled against it.  

Shu: "What was that?"  

Y/N lifted her face from his chest.  

Y/N: "Why not spend the rest of our boring day outside to see our friends, festivities, etc.?"  

Shu smiled and nodded, and Y/N gave him a bright, toothy grin and jumped off of him to go and change for the day. Shu sat up, a small puff left his lips, and he went to follow his cheery girlfriend.

Shu shut the drawer once he grabbed the keys and wallet, putting them in the inside pocket of his jacket. He then opened the bottom drawer and took out the small box that was sitting patiently inside the empty cabinet. He looked inside to see the gleaming stone. Y/N peeked her head from the side of the door, making him quickly shut the box and look at her with a soft smile.  

Shu: "I'm coming."  

He shoved the small box inside his pocket, patting it, and went to follow Y/N. She waited by the door in her favorite casual outdoor wear.  

Shu: "Ready to go?"  

Y/N nodded with a hum.  

Y/N: "I called Valt to meet us at the usual spot."  

Shu hummed, closed the door behind them, locked it, and went ahead to meet their old friend.

Valt: "Hey, guys! Long time no see!"  

Y/N waved to the blue-spiked-haired boy as he ran to them.  

Y/N: "Valt, it's so good to see you."  

Y/N hugged the wonder boy back. Valt turned to Shu, who greeted him with a small nod.  

Shu: "Valt, it's good to see you, old friend."  

Valt smiled, and the two clasped hands and patted each other's backs as Y/N stifled a laugh, making them turn to her in confusion. She waved her hand.  

Y/N: "Don't mind me; I just remembered that time when you saw Quon again, and Xander called him an old friend. You thought he was like a hundred years old!"  

Valt's cheeks turned pink as he tried to defend himself.  

Valt: "Hey! I was just a kid back then!"  

Y/N: "Yeah, and most of us as kids had the brains of an adult."  

She poked her friend's forehead.  

Y/N: "Your mind was like a five-year-old's."  

Valt had small puffs of steam coming from his spiked hair as Y/N teased him. Shu smiled at the two of them, remembering all the times they had been by his side and the Beyclub.

Shu: "So, are we going to go or not?"  

The two looked at him and nodded with goofy smiles. The three took a small journey to Valt's home to have some Beybread and hang out with Nika and Toko. Nika and Fubuki started dating about six years ago and even had promise rings. Fubuki proposed to her yesterday when they were ready for marriage. Nika wanted to have Y/N as one of her bridesmaids, which Y/N was stoked about. Chiharu promised to make an amazing cake for her wedding and Y/N's wedding. The boys could only watch them gossip amongst themselves. Then they went to attractions like aquariums, theaters, the mall (despite it not being an attraction, let's just say it is for this), and of course, fed some animals at the zoo and an animal café.

The group even went to the amusement park to see Hyuga, Hikaru, Lain, Harry, Reina, Chuck, and Guy, along with Dante, Aiger, and Delta. They hung out together. Reina and Hikaru were also engaged and wished for their wedding in the fall, next year or the next. Reina asked if Y/N wished to be her bridesmaid, and Y/N accepted, agreeing to help her pick a wedding dress. Everyone went on rides, visited haunted houses, played arcade games, had dance-offs, took photos, enjoyed food, and attended festivals. It was a great day for Y/N and Shu.

As the day went by and nightfall engulfed the once bright blue sky, small sparkles of light covered the sky, with crickets chirping in the bushes. Y/N, Shu, and Valt were back at the beypark to say their goodbyes.

Valt: "Well, it was great seeing you guys again! Today was such a blast."

Y/N and Shu nodded. Y/N hugged the Wonder Boy in her arms and patted his back.

Y/N: "Good to see you again, Wonder Boy. We'll see you soon when it's Nika and Fubuki's wedding, then?"

Valt nodded with a scratch behind his head.

Valt: "Probably. Unless my schedule is empty, I may be available to hang out again."

Shu patted Valt's shoulder and clapped their hands.

Shu: "Have a safe trip back home, Valt."

Valt nodded and walked away with a giant wave.

Valt: "See you soon!"

The couple waved back to him and went their way with their hands held together, heading to their car.

Shu glanced at his cheerful girlfriend and looked at the pocket his hand was in, clenching the small box.  

Shu: "Hey, Y/N?"  

Y/N hummed in response.  

Shu: "I want to take you somewhere."  

Y/N tilted her head and nodded. Shu smiled and headed to the car, driving down the slightly empty road.

Shu stopped the car and helped Y/N out of the car, took her hand, and walked through the forest that obscured the view. She could only see Shu's back, his white hair slightly shimmering in the moonlight that graced its presence for them on this night.

Once they cleared the area and were out in the open, they saw a gazebo by a clear blue lake.

Y/N: "Wow... how'd you find this?"  

She looked at her boyfriend, who only smiled at her with a wink and a finger over his lips. Her cheeks puffed with a tint of blush. Shu led her to the center under the ruined gazebo and looked at the clearing.  

Y/N: "Waaah~ it's so beautiful. Is this what you wanted to show me?"  

Shu shook his head and reached into his pocket.  

Shu: "That's not all."  

Y/N lightly gasped; her eyes widened slightly. Shu kneeled down on one knee with a box in his hand. He opened the lid, and a beautiful ruby ring appeared before her.

Shu: "Y/N L/N, for years we've been together, helping me through those hardships, always by my side to help me, even through those nightmares that haunted me. And I always knew in my heart that I wanted to be with you."  

Tears brimmed in the corners of her eyes.

"Y/N L/N, you are my today and all of my tomorrows. Will you marry me and make this love eternal?"

Y/N let out a couple of sniffles and nodded.

"Yes! Of course I do!"

She ran into his arms as Shu stood up and caught her, closing the box before the ring could fall out. Y/N reeled back a little, a hand over her mouth, almost realizing she had lost the ring. Shu chuckled, took out the ring, grabbed her hand, and slid it onto her finger, sealing their promised future. She looked at the ruby ring shining in the moonlight's glimmer and looked up at her now fiancé. Shu leaned in, his forehead gently touching hers, as he softly whispered.

"I love you."

Then, with a tender smile, he closed the distance between them, pressing a slow, lingering kiss to her lips—one that spoke of all the love and promises they would share in their life together.

A year and a half has passed since their engagement. Shu and Y/N announced it to their friends, who were happy for them and congratulated them with lots of confetti and food. Everyone, I mean everyone, congratulated them through a video they received. Even Lui!

Soon, the big day arrived. Kristina and Chiharu were helping put makeup on Y/N, while Gummi and Nika were assisting her in putting on her chosen wedding dress. Once she was done, all the women fawned over her new look.

Nika: "You're so beautiful!!"  

Nika sniffled into her handkerchief, and Y/N smiled gratefully at her.  

Y/N: "It's thanks to you guys."  

Chiharu: "Don't forget your flowers!"  

Chiharu gave her some red and F/C flowers, a mix of hers and Shu's favorite colors and flowers.

A knock brought all of their attention, and Valt's muffled voice spoke behind the door.  

Valt: "Hey, guys! It's time!"  

Chiharu clapped her hands together.  

Chiharu: "Well! It's time to go, my dear!"  

The girls left the room, and Y/N's maids of honor, Sasha and Mao, were to walk with her down the aisle. Naru and Honey were her flower girls. They stood ready in front of the door that Shu was awaiting behind.  

The music started playing, and the doors opened. Naru and Honey began to scatter the flower petals over the carpet, and everyone turned to the beautiful bride making her way to the podium, awaiting her future husband. She glanced to see some of her friends crying, trying to hold it in (Wakiya and Honcho), while others wiped tears away.

By Shu's side stood Valt, Lain, and Fubuki as his best men. Valt was so happy for his friends to finally be wedded to each other. Shu smiled at his bride and reached a hand out to her. She took it and climbed up the small steps to stand beside him. The two looked at each other with smiles, and the music fell silent as a soft melody of a violin played while the priest, with a warm smile, began to speak as the soft melody of the violin filled the air.

Priest: "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the union of Y/N L/N and Shu Kurenai in marriage. This moment is the culmination of a love that has grown, flourished, and stood the test of time. Today, they stand before us, ready to embark on a new journey as husband and wife, bound by the promises they make to each other. Marriage is a commitment to love, honor, and cherish one another, not just in moments of joy, but in times of challenge as well. It is a partnership built on trust, respect, and an unwavering bond that only grows stronger with time. Y/N and Shu, as you join hands and exchange vows today, remember that this union is not just the blending of two lives, but the creation of something beautiful and enduring—a love that will continue to shine brightly through all seasons of life. May your marriage be filled with laughter, compassion, and endless support for one another, as you walk this path together, hand in hand. And now, surrounded by your loved ones, it is time to make your promises to each other and seal them with your love."

The priest nodded to Shu, who took a deep breath and began his vows, his voice steady and full of emotion.

Shu: "Y/N, you've shown me what true love is, with your kindness, patience, and unwavering support. You've always been there by my side in my dark moments when I thought no one would help me ease my pain or even notice. But you would be the first person to step up and help me through. Today, I vow to be your partner in all things, to celebrate with you in times of joy and to hold you close in times of sorrow. I promise to love you with all that I am, to laugh with you, to grow with you, and to walk beside you, wherever life may lead us. With this ring, I give you my hand, my heart, and my life, forever."

Shu's words hung in the air, full of sincerity and devotion. Hannah came over and presented her rings—the very rings Shu proposed. He slipped the ring onto Y/N's finger. Y/N looked into Shu's eyes, her heart brimming with love, and began her vows with a voice steady despite the overwhelming emotions.

Y/N: "Shu, from the moment we met, I knew my life was about to change in the most wonderful way. You've been my strength, my joy, and my greatest love. Today, I vow to stand by your side through every high and low, every challenge and triumph. I promise to love you unconditionally, to support your dreams, and to cherish the small moments that make life so beautiful. With this ring, I give you my heart, my soul, and my forever." 

With a gentle smile, Y/N slid the ring onto Shu's finger, completing the circle of their vows. The moment was filled with quiet reverence as they stood together, hands clasped, ready to step into their future as one.

The priest smiled warmly at the couple, their love evident in every word and gesture. He raised his hands in a blessing and spoke with joy in his voice.

Priest: "By the power vested in me, and with the love and support of everyone gathered here today, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Shu, you may kiss your bride."

As the words echoed through the space, a wave of joy rippled through the crowd, and Shu gently lifted Y/N's veil. He leaned in, closing the space between them, and with a tender, heartfelt kiss, they sealed their vows and began their journey as husband and wife.

The friends stood up, and the hall was filled with loud cheers and claps as they congratulated the Kurenai couple. Y/N waved to her friends, and Shu nodded to them as they hugged each other's waists.

The reception hall was a blast! Dancing was fun with your beloved, and having drinks and a feast with your friends was delightful. Making jokes and bringing up good memories from childhood added to the joy.

Shu stood up from the couple's table with his wife, tapping his spoon gently against the glass and bringing everyone's attention over.  

Shu: "Attention! Y/N and I have a surprise gift for everyone."  

Murmurs arose in the room, and Y/N nodded to one of the staff to bring the item. They bowed and went to grab it. A few minutes later, they brought a large covered item on a small trolley. It was moved onto the stage, and they placed it carefully on the stage. They bowed and stepped down. Shu and Y/N walked over to the gift as everyone gazed at it in curiosity.  

Y/N: "We present to you guys!"  

Shu grabbed the sheets and removed them, revealing a beystadium.  

All of their friends stood up and gasped, their eyes sparkling.  

Shu: "So..."  

Shu and Y/N pulled out their launchers.  

Shu: "Who would like to have the honors of taking us on?"

Valt volunteered first and ran on stage. One of the staff members was playing referee, and the boys stood ready.

Shu and Valt pulled their arms back.

They slowly clenched the pull string.

And they were off.
