he returns even if it isn't him she's seeing. ❞

"Kiyama-kun, do you want to start planning the project?" (Name) asked the redhead next to her as they walked alongside each other. Though it was mere coincidence that the male was still around when she left since they take separate ways in going home, she couldn't have felt more thankful.

The whole walk by herself felt... unnerving for some reason. She couldn't understand why it's just today.

Painful enough, it felt like she was on edge with a knife pointed to her throat. The feeling was just so suffocating that when she saw Tatsuya walking with one of his close friends, Ryuuji she thought, she could feel the feeling disappear and that's how they ended up walking close to their house.

"You mean the Valentine's project right?" Ryuuji piped in.

Tatsuya nodded to the male beside him before thinking of an answer for the (Hair Color)-haired female's question. "Yeah, I guess thinking about it early would be easier than later." But another thought crossed him. "Though, Sensei didn't say how to make the project."

"Damn... she never specified if it's a presentation or some performance or some poet and all that," (Name) groaned and snapped her fingers. "Why did she have to make it love related in the first place...?"

"It's weird, but it's still nice in a way," the greenette smiled. "At least it wasn't a specific kind of love. You can make your topic about family love!"

She shrugged after thinking about it. "You're not wrong there."

"Well we're here." (Name) stared up from their conversation and gawked slightly, forgetting how the two of them were living literally with the delinquent themselves.

Snapping from her daze, she followed the two close friends into the building, not even a second into the room and she felt like she was already gonna be suffocated, despite the living room being huge. Too huge for it to even be called a living room.

"I'm gonna guess that we're working here." Though she was simply joking, she couldn't stop herself from looking around. It was her first time inside a room this big, not to mention, again, a living room this big.

The response she received was a simple nod. "It seems like Hitomiko-nee isn't here at the moment. Maybe she's still out," Tatsuya mumbled aloud. (Name) didn't question about what he was muttering on about as Ryuuji just walked over to the middle of the room and sat down on the floor.

"C'mon guys. Quit standing around as if I'm the one doing the project," he ushered the two to sit, patting one side for Tatsuya to sit on. This greatly reminded the (Hair Color)-haired girl about her own situation, seeing herself as the redhead with Kagura being the other male.

Once they sat down, she saw the male cocked his head up and had a surprise reaction painted over his face, his teal orbs staring right past her. Wanting to see the cause of this, she looked over to where his eyes were locked to.

The sight was much to her own shock.

There stood watching from the staircase, arms crossed on the railing, was the boy she had a close call being partners with: Kira Hiroto. His eyes were piercing, intimidating in some sort of way to others. But that wasn't the reason why she would always ignore him.

The redhead male was about to call out to him, but he simply clicked his tongue before climbing back up the stairs.

She turned to Tatsuya. "Is he always like that?" She pointed in the direction where Hiroto had left to. Her voice already knew the answer, but it felt like she wanted a confirmation.

The redhead himself wasn't sure, so all he did was give an unsure smile. "He's always like that."

With that said, the two of them began planning their project earlier, with the help of Ryuuji, much to both of their gratitude as the gray-haired soccer player silently returned back to the railings.

"But I am a bit surprise by one thing," Tatsuya added, "he came back earlier than he usually does."

Raising an eyebrow, "you mean he doesn't always come home immediately."

"Yeah... that is strange..." Suspiciously agreed the greenette.

It was only for a short while, his fuchsia orbs glaring down at all three of them, especially the young (Hair Color)-nette, before walking back up again, locking his eyes back on his phone.

(Name) looked over to the stairs, a bit taken back by something she caught from the corner of her eye. Though she was supposed to be reassured by the two after telling them that she saw something that maybe one of others that lived in the mansion was simply passing by or trying to tease around, that wasn't the thing that concerned her.

I could've sworn I saw a flash just now.
