nothing feels right around him. ❞

"He's going to be expelled if this were to continue." Were the last words (Name) heard from her teacher before following Kagura back to their locker. She didn't give much thought to what the teacher said, mostly because she didn't really care about who the teacher directed it to. As long as it wasn't her, there wouldn't be much problem.

Her lips parted and an exhausted yawn left from her throat. If carefully looked over, there could be seen eye bags from under eyes. Nonetheless, she tried her best to properly keep herself up during the entirety of class.

"Wow, it looks like you've been stalked by a ghost the whole night," Kagura commented jokingly.

The (Hair Color)-nette glanced over to her, but instead of the normal sarcastic remark she'd give, she held herself back from shuddering. If only it was a ghost... bitterly thought the female. Instead of a remark, she forced out a laugh.

The silverette gave her a weirded-out look, raising an eyebrow. To her, it was more of a nervous laugh than a sarcastic one.

(Name) shook her head and randomly flicked her forehead. Her best friend yelped from the unexpected action and glared at her, who only stared back with a tired gaze. "What?! I was kidding! Geez, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning..." She grumbled off to the side.

Not caring less by rolling her eyes to the side, she spoke, "you were staring at me like I had only one eye or something."

"That's because you look so shook. Usually, you're more- um..." she tried gesturing whatever she meant to say. Raising a brow at what she was trying to mean, she only walked faster, leaving the girl to whine and to quickly follow after.

As if she'd say anything about last night. She could easily remember the enraged and worried face of her mother for not telling her what time she'd be returning home and basically nagged her for an hour. And to make matters worse, Hiroto's last words to her were so... interesting, in a way.

Then again, almost getting caught sleeping during the whole day of class was not exciting nor enjoyable, but she couldn't help it. His words meant nothing but they bothered her in some way.

Answer her own question? She has an answer to her own question. Of course she does.

Suddenly, she was pulled back by Kagura, almost bumping into one of the seniors passing by. She looked a bit stunned for a while, brought back from her inner thoughts.

"Watch where your going!" One of them hissed angrily and impatiently, rushing passed her in haste. His friends, who he just left, only apologized on his behalf before trying to catch up to him.

(Name) heard a sigh from next to her and remembered. "Thanks, Amano-san," she thanked.

"See! This is what I mean!" She exaggerated, slightly dismissing her friend's appreciation. "But, no problem. And here I thought I was the clumsy one who daydreams." Propping both of her hands on her waist, her bright pink orbs glittered again when she was playfully pushed by a (Skin Color) hand. "Now that's the (Last Name)-chan I know of!"

"As if I ever changed." Deadpanned, they continued their walk. "Can't believe classes are already over. It only felt like an hour."

Kagura stuck her tongue out and pouted, "that's only because you kept on dozing off every 30 minutes during each class. It was like the teacher only looks over to you when you quickly wake up." She spoke out of feign jealousy, like a child whining for candies.

Smirking, she continued to play along, "jealous?"

"Hmph!" She only looked away.

Actually, I was only able to sleep in class because he wasn't there, she thought to herself, inwardly sighing. I swear he's a black cat going about. Her smirk vanished and she focused walking out of school with her best friend, who had a new topic to discuss about this time.

I'm glad he's not here today.
