Alright, here's the real tea. And it's about tea too which is ironic. Anyway, so I've been seeing a lot of expose books and stuff like that. Now, when it's put to good use, like exposing a hate account, that's fine. But if you use it to expose someone because they had an opinion or didn't know someone was joking just one time and you blow the situation out of proportion, that's not cool. If anything, it's kind of petty. Like, you can easily talk to that person in private and have a respectful conversation.

You especially don't need to call someone names and drag them through the mud. That essentially makes you almost as bad as a Hate account. And weren't we all just complaining about hate accounts? So why are we spreading hate?

My darlings, my babies, my children, y'all gotta stop. We are not Tati and we are not James Charles. Leave the tea to them and let them ruin other people's careers. We all came to Wattpad to write or simply to find a safe haven. And with all of this negative tea, we're losing the sacred place we tried to look for.

Now, I know we all can't help but love to sip on some tea, I'll admit the same, but we're putting poison in the tea. We're making people hate each other over a simple argument that could have been solved privately and that didn't need to be shared. Like, I have some tea I could spill about certain accounts but I haven't. That's the respectful thing to do.

It's even harder to sip the tea when it's between two of your friends. You can't choose sides and you don't want to confront the one who spilled the tea because you don't want to seem like you're defending the other and lose that friend and you don't want to go to the person who the tea was spilt about because you know the whole situation got them pissed off and hurt.

Look, what I'm trying to say is that, don't spill any tea unless it's in private or it's a hate account you're calling out. Because we want a safe place here on Wattpad and with all of these Tea books, we're losing that safe place. Some of us feel we have to hold back what we say or we can be the next person talked about. We need the old Wattpad back. The Wattpad that we signed up to. The one that gave us a safe haven.

So please, spill the tea for good. That's all I ask. Make Wattpad safe again for everyone. Can we do that? Great.
