I wanted to see her.

Over the past few months with being with the League, I'd had an obsession with getting what I wanted, when I wanted it, and getting it myself. It was, at first, to prove I wasn't dependent and weak, but it'd sprouted to a habit.

And this was no different.

But it would be stupid to return there, especially when she probably wouldn't want to see me. I pulled down my hood and let my hair fire up at the top. I bit my nails, holding myself back.

"Hey," I heard Dabi's voice behind me.

I was very protective of my perch here, and my liberator was no exception. The viscus atop my head hissed with threat as I turned around and gave a subtle scowl. He, along with toga and a few others, were the only ones I wouldn't lash out at when they interrupted me.

"Don't give me that look, I just came to give you these," he threw me a pack of bubble gum, and a pocketknife; I caught them in my hands and stuffed them in my pockets, taking out a piece of gum.

I'd gotten quite a high price on my head, gang members, bounty hunters and other people I'd affected with my acts and our kidnappings I participated in had earned me a reputation within the sketchier alleyway lurkers. Eventually, they began to come after me. It got quite bad recently so I'd have to carry a knife or gun in case, and on this night I'd actually forgotten.

"In case you've forgotten about that time you were attacked when you were here last week, you need to stop being so reckless," he rolled his eyes, sitting on the roof ledge a bit further away from me.

My hair calmed down, and so did I. It swirled around and occasionally let out a content bubble. He knew this was a sign of comfort and acceptance, as he pretty much spoke the 'Y/N's hair' language fluently, and shuffled closer.
Only a few members knew where I went at these times, and the ones that didn't were warned that I'd lash out if they'd tried to follow me.

"The guy's gonna wake up soon, you wanna join in?" He picked one of the bubblegum pieces out of my hand and put it in his mouth.

"No, it's boring now," I stated.

He was talking about the few hours of torture the targets go through before we ditch them on some random street.

Blowing a bubble with the gum, I flicked the pocketknife blade in and out, still staring at the school.

"Still, you should've brought something with you just in case,"

"I just forgot," I said monotonously.

Again, he rolled his eyes and rested his elbows on his knees, looking at the sky. I could see that the sky was cloudier than usual, so it blocked out most of the stars and constellations that I came here to look at a lot of the time.

"Ah, well, the starts aren't out tonight so I'm out," he sighed, standing up and heading back towards the headquarters.

I allowed him to sit near my spot if he wanted to watch the stars, which he did often.

I turned around and nodded, blowing another bubble while throwing the knife in the air.

"Airhead," he muttered before taking off to probably 'question' the captured target.

I faced back towards the school, that insatiable urge to go to her still bugging me. I wanted it more than any glass of alcohol or new bracelet, I craved it. I bit my lip, feeling my hands go to the concrete to push me up on their own accord, my feet soon following. Stopping now would mean I'd be irritable and a pain in the ass, and demanding once I entered the bar again, and no one likes me like that. Last time I almost burned down my room in a tantrum because I didn't go on a mission as I got attacked by a gang a day prior and my sore wound embedded in my leg had to heal, and Spinner had to babysit the little, sour bitch that was a Y/N that didn't get what she wanted.

And right now?
I wanted Nejire Hado.

And if anyone had tried to stop me I was sure to commit third- degree manslaughter. I stuffed my pocket knife in my jeans' pocket and the packet of bubblegum was left on the side of the building ledge. Sure enough, I was running along the roofs of shops and apartments, headed towards the school before I could stop myself.

Tomura had informed me that the place where I escaped from in the wall hadn't been repaired and the intense heat from my small fiasco with the dorms had made the sensors internally faulty, not that the school noticed, so I took that information into consideration.

I paused my sprint of pursuit to catch my breath, then stood up straight. I looked up at the hill, seeing as I'd reached the end of the street and had to jump down onto the pavement.
Backing up towards the gap between two of the shops, I kicked off my shoes and pulled up my sleeves, the extremities exposed to the cold night wind turning to solid magma, and I began my descent. Holding my shoes by the laces in my teeth, I dug my fingers into the wall, melting small holes into the brick, and doing the same with my feet. Once I'd reached the ground, I shook my hands and flexed my toes, returning the burning liquid to skin and putting my shoes back on, clumsily tying the laces. Next to the back door of the shop was a discarded pair of leather gloves, an upside-down cross silver necklace and a black pair of motorbike-style goggles.

"Jackpot," I whispered, grinning.

Being a noticeable kleptomaniac, I slipped the leather gloves into my pocket, hung the necklace around my neck and tentatively slipped the goggles over my rocky hair, over my black mask and rested them on my collarbone. I stalked out of the small cut-way, into the deserted, drab street. Continuing my sprint towards the school grounds, the trees surrounding me were charred with black ash from my distressed flee from the burning dorms only months ago. It seemed like so long ago, that I'd been with the league for way more than 4 months. The last time I'd seen any of my classmates felt like a strange memory from a past I'd tried hard to forget, to put behind me.

The looming tree branches reached out towards me as I hiked up the hill, the wall and my now solidified lava gate coming into view. The large branch I'd covered it with had withered and shrunk, fallen to the floor and only covering half of the hole. I slipped through, but my sleeve got snagged onto a tree branch, causing a small snapping noise to make me jump. I huffed and unhooked it from the twig, seeing that the cotton had frayed slightly. I breathed out and groaned quietly.

"This was my favourite for God's sake," I hissed to myself, mentally cursing that damn stick.

The sleeves were soon forgotten and shoved into my pockets as I located my way to the 3-A dorms. I passed my old dorms on the way, and saw that the girls' quarters were being rebuilt. I took a detour to inspect the new build, brushing my fingers against the scaffolding, the porch fence and the wooden structural beams. I figured out where my room was by counting where the others' rooms would have been.

I shook myself.
This isn't what I'm here for.
I dragged myself away from the 1-B dorms, headed down a small slip of path that was shielded from view by other buildings like one of the gyms. Eventually, I came to the building that proudly displayed the "3-A ALLIANCE" sign.

I smiled, the small amount of fear of being caught flying away from me and my unstable mind as I made my way into the dorms via a loose window.

I really appreciate you all. Thanks for reading my lesbian trash! I love Nejire too much so that's why I'm writing a book that's hella long about her. Have a lovely day/night 💫
