'A BITE CHANGES EVERYTHING'

"It was the worst dinner I have ever had!" I said to my best friend while walking to school. "What happened?" Juliet asked me and I let out a groan. "My brother and aunt asked stiles so many questions.

They even thought he was my boyfriend. Thank god they didn't tell him about the massive crush I have for him." I rambled to my best friend before letting out a whine.

"I think stiles won't ever come to my house again because of that one dinner. I'm going to die, Juliet." I said while she wrap her arms around my shoulder. "Relax, he probably forgot about it," Juliet said before stiles came to us. "Hey girls!" Stiles said to us making me and Juliet waved at him. "Hey, Stiles!" We said at the same time with a smile on my face.

"Rory, I had a great time with you at dinner. Your aunt was nice she is a great cook." Stiles said to me making me look at Juliet with an 'I told you' look. "Yeah, it was great, amazing actually," I said to him with a fake smile on my face. "Anyways I have to get to class, see you guys there?" I said to them.

"Yeah," Juliet said before I walked away from them. "He probably forgot about it, my ass," I mumbled to myself mocking what Juliet said to me.

I was in class with stiles and Juliet when Scott came in and looked at stiles who glared at him, Scott walked up to us and sat behind Stiles and I smiled at him. "Still not talking to me?" Scott asked Stiles but he didn't answer Scott. "Can you at least tell me if your dad's okay? I mean, it's just a bruise, right? Some soft tissue damage? Nothing that big?" Scott said to Stiles making me turn to Scott.

"You're making it worst," I whispered to him and he let out a sigh. "You know I feel really bad about it, right?" Scott said to stiles and Stiles still hasn't paid attention to his best friend, makes wanna slap both of them. "Okay..." Scott said before letting out another sigh. "What if I told you that I'm trying to figure this whole thing out, and...that I went t Derek for help?" Scott said making Stiles bite his lip and let out a sigh.

"If I was talking to you I'd say that you're an idiot for trusting him. But I'm not talking to you." Stiles said to Scott making me bite down my lip so I don't let out a burst of laughter between those two idiots I became friends with. I look at Juliet and raised my fingers and started a countdown. "5... 4... 3.... 2.... 1..." I whispered to her and just like that Stiles turned to face his best friend. "What did he say?" Stiles said making me smile at them.

"I knew it!" I said with a smile on my face making them look at me stiles let out a chuckle looking at me. "Sorry, oh by the way either one of you act like a bitch again I won't hesitate to beat the shit out of you, got it," I said to them with a straight face. "Got it." They both said making me smile again and I made eye contact with who has a huge smile on his face making my cheeks turn red.

"He wants you to tap into your animal side and get angry?" Stiles said to Scott while walking out of class and me behind them. "Yeah," Scott said to us. "All right, well, correct me if I'm wrong, but every time you do that you try to kill someone, and that someone's usually Rory and I," Stiles said making me slap him. "Hey, that was once," I said to him before he looked at me.

"Okay, maybe two times," I said to him. "I know. That's what he means when he says he doesn't know if he can teach me. I have to be able to control it." Scott said to us making me let out a sigh. "Well, how's he gonna teach to do that?" I asked Scott crossing my arms and holding onto my books. "I don't know. I don't think he does either." Scott said to us making me give him a nod.

"Okay, when are you seeing him again?" Stiles asked Scott. "Just told me not to talk about it. Just act normal and get through the day." Scott said making me slap the back of his head.

"When?" I asked Scott who was rubbing the back of his head. "He's picking me up at the animal clinic after work," Scott said. "After work. All right, well, that gives me to the end of the school day then." Stiles said and I frown.

"To do what?" Scott asked his best friend while I'm still confused. "To teach you myself," Stiles said before walking away. "You know that's a terrible idea right," I said to Scott and he nods. "Trust me I know. Do I have another choice?" Scott asked me and I nodded. "Nope, not really," I said to him before pushing him in the direction stiles left.

"I think the books making it more obvious," Stiles said to Scott while I turned around to see Allison. "Besides, she's reading, anyways," I said to Scott who was still hiding behind the book making me roll my eyes at him. "So did you come up with a plan yet?" Scott asked as he took a sneak peek looking at stiles before covering his face again. "I think so," Stiles said as he took a bite of his apple.

"Does that mean you don't hate me now?" Scott asked him as I roll my eyes at both of the boys sitting next to me. "No," Stiles said as he was chewing. "But your crap has infiltrated my life, so now I have to do something about it," Stiles said as I let out a sigh.

"You guys fight like dogs and cats," I said to them rolling my eyes at them as they both sent me a glare. "Plus I'm a better Yoda than Derek," Stiles said to Scott. "Okay, yeah, you teach me," Scott said to his best friend. "Yeah, I'll be your Yoda," Stiles said making me roll my eyes.

"Yeah, you be my Yoda," Scott said not looking at his best friend but instead he looked at the book in front of him. "Your Yoda I will be." He said in a Yoda voice making me giggle. "I said it backward," Stiles said before Scott cut him off.

"Yeah, I know." Scott made me roll my eyes 'here we go again.' "All right, you know what? I still hate you. Uh-huh." Stiles said he gathers his stuff and got up right before snatching the book from Scott and getting it. "Wha-wait," I said before getting up and running with stiles.

"Why'd you leave me?" I said with a pouting face. "Sorry." He said to me and I smiled at him. "It's okay! So where are we heading to?" I asked him as we walked down the corridor.

"It's a surprise." He said with a smirk on his face making me glare at him. "If it had something to do about the whole teaching Scott how to control his shift. I'm not signing." I said as I follow him around the school. "Well, you don't have a choice if you're already here." He said as we stopped in front of the coach's office.

"You always make me get in trouble, do you?" I said as I looked at him before letting out a giggle. "What can I say, it's all I do." He said and I smiled at him. "Fine. I'll be on the lookout if anyone comes out." I  said to him as he walked into the coach's office while I'm outside to be on the lookout.

"When did I become one of them," I mumbled to myself. "Aurora?" I hear his voice as I let out a sigh. "Jackson," I said with a nervous laugh. "Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked him making me turn around and making sure Stiles wasn't going to get caught.

"Oh, I have to get something out of my locker." He said to me and I send him a smile. "What are you doing here?" He asked me and I turned around but stiles was still inside.

"Oh, um, I-just waiting for a friend of mine," I said with an awkward smile. "Oh, okay," he said to me scrunching his eyebrows. "So..." I said unsure what to talk about. "How-how are you with L-Lydia?" I asked him scratching the back of my neck.

"We're fine." He said to me and I smile before looking down at the ground. "How are you and Stiles?" He asked me making me look up at him. "W-What?" I asked him letting out an awkward chuckle.

"You know. You and stiles. Aren't you two together?" He asked me making me turn into a red tomato. "Um, we-we aren't together, he likes someone else," I said looking down when I said he liked someone and that someone is Jackson's girlfriend.

"Let me guess, Lydia?" He asked me raising his eyebrows making me bite down my lip and nod.

"Hey, I got it-," Stiles said making me and Jackson look at him and he looked at both of us. "Oh. A-Am I interrupting something?" He asked us making me nod.

"No." Jackson and I said at the same time making me look down. "I should go," Jackson said to me and I looked up at him and smile.

"I'll see you later, I guess." He said shrugging his shoulder before walking up to me and kissing me on the cheek making me blush.

"Bye," I said to him with a smile. I turned to Stiles who had his eyebrows raised making me frown and my smile wiped away. "What?" I asked him confused.

"What? He kissed you." He said sounding a little angry. "So?" I said shrugging my shoulder. "Isn't he-he with Lydia?" He asked me and I nodded. "Yes, but he's also my best friend," I said to him. "Isn't it wrong for him to kiss you!" He asked me and I had a smirk on my face.

"Are you jealous?" I asked him making him turn bright red.

"What! N-No, I am not jealous." He said to me making me chuckle.

"Im joking," I said with a laugh as he let out a sigh.
"Come on, let's go," I said with a smile and grabbed his hand and intertwine them with mine.

"What are we doing here?" I said making my way out of the jeep. "To prove Derek is wrong," Scott said closing the door and making me sigh. "Prove what?" I mumble to myself closing the other side of the door.

"This is a terrible idea," Stiles said to Scott who agreed. "Yeah, I know," Scott said to stiles. "But we're still gonna do it?" Stiles asked him. "Can you think of something better?" Scott said to stiles raising his voice a little.

"Well, personally I'm a fan of ignoring a problem until eventually it just goes away," Stiles said to Scott making me roll my eyes at him. "Not, good," I said to Stiles. "Just make sure we can get inside," Scott said making me turn to look around when I spotted Derek's car approaching.

"Here he comes," I said to them. As Derek's car stopped in front of us and him coming out. "Hello, Derek." I said with a smile, "Rory." He said with a slight smile. "Where's my boss?" Scott immediately said to Derek.

"He's in the back," Derek said making me walk up to his car and look through the car. "What the hell Derek!" I said as I stood there looking at Scott's boss who was unconscious in the back of the car with tape in his mouth.

"Oh, he looks comfortable." Stiles sarcastically made me groan right before I looked at Scott and followed behind. "Wait, what are you doing?" Derek asked Scott. "You said I was linked with the Alpha," Scott told Derek before walking up closer to the school.

"Im gonna see if you're right," Scott said before leaving.

"Be careful," Derek told me and I gave him a thumbs up. "Always!" I said running after the two boys. "He cares for you," Stiles said to me as we walked into the corridors. "Yep." I said with a 'p'.

"Why?" He asked me and I let out a sigh. "Because we've known each other and he's like a big brother to me," I said with a smile as Stiles opened the door for me. "Thank you," I said with a smile walking into the main office.

"Okay, one question. What are you gonna do if the Alpha doesn't show up?" Stiles said walking behind the counter and I leaned into it. "We leave." I said with a 'duh' tone.

"I don't know," Scott said shrugging his shoulder. "And what are you gonna do if he does show up?" Stiles asked him. "I don't know," Scott said shaking his head. "Great," I mumble. "Good plan," Stiles said to Scott.

"All right. You said that the wolf howls. To signal his position to the rest of the pack, right?" Scott asked Stiles. "Right, but if you bring him here, does that make you part of his pack?" Stiles making me shake my head.

"I hope not," Scott and I said at the same time. "Yeah, me three," Stiles said grabbing the microphone and placing it on the counter. "All right." He said as he fixed the radio, "All you," Stiles said to Scott who cleared his throat and let out a sigh before turning the microphone on and began howling.

And my eyes went wide open me hearing what I just did trying not to burst into laughter I tried to hold it so hard. "What the fuck." I said right before he stop and I burst into laughter I just couldn't keep it in me anymore.

"Oh, my God. I-I can't." I said laughing so hard that I feel like I'm about to piss on myself, "Was that okay? I mean that was a howl, right?" Scott said panicking and making me trying not to laugh again. "Yeah, technically," Stiles said trying to help Scott's confidence.

"Well, what did it sound like to you?" He asked making him burst into laughter again. "L-Like a cat being c-choked to death, S-Scott," I said placing my hand on my stomach. "What do I do? How am I supposed to do this?" Scott asked Stiles angrily while he gave me a death glare.

"Hey, hey," Stiles said walking behind Scott and placing both of his hands on each shoulder. "Listen to me. You're calling the Alpha. All right? Be a man. Be a werewolf, not a teen wolf. Be a werewolf." Stiles said giving him more confidence.

"I need a best friend like you," I said to him letting out a small giggle. "Do it," Stiles said to Scott who let out a sigh before pressing the button again,

and making me cover my ears and look shocked. "Holy shit!" I said over the howling that Scott did. "That was awesome," I said clapping my hands together. "Yes," I said smiling at Scott.

"I'm gonna kill both of you," Derek said very angrily to the boys. "What the hell was that?" Derek once again said angrily. "What are you trying to do to attract the entire state to the school?" Derek said while we were all smiling and I let out a few chuckles.

"Sorry, I didn't know it would be that loud," Scott said with a smile. "Yeah, it was loud. And it was awesome." Stiles said letting out a chuckle. "Shut up," Derek said making me frown. "Ah, come on," I said to him.

"Don't be such a sour wolf," Stiles said to Stiles when Scott hit him on y the stomach so he could stop talking. "What'd you do with him?" Scott said to Derek angrily. "What?" Derek said turning to look inside the car Scott's boss was gone.

"I didn't do anything," Derek confirmed to us. That's when he stopped talking and I saw that blood started to come out of his mouth making me gasp and back away. "Derek!" I scream as I watched him being lifted and making Stiles and Scott run.

"Aurora!" Stiles said as I stood there looking at Derek and the Alpha who had Derek. "Derek!" I said with tears in my eyes watching the blood pour out of his mouth.

"Aurora!" Stiles said grabbing me by the waist I pushed him again but that didn't last long when I felt being lifted and dragged away from Derek. "No!" I said watching Derek being thrown through the wall.

"No!" I said crying uncontrollably. It didn't take me long when I realized that I wasn't outside but instead I was already inside. "Stiles, let go of me," I said trying to get out of his grip.

"Please," I begged him weakly. He pulled me down as I looked down at the ground and not facing him or Scott. "He-He's dead," I said as Stiles wrapped his arms around me and I cried into his shoulder.
