'A BITE CHANGES EVERYTHING'

"YOUR GOING to owe me for this." My brother said to me making me scoff.

He's not serious is he.

"You're joking right?" I said angrily.

"You owe me." I said to my brother. "I don't owe you shit." He told me making me turn to my friends.

"Yes, you do. You stole all my money. Remember that?" I asked him making him roll his eyes. "I did not!" He yelled making me laugh.

"Yeah, you did. You stole it from me. You used it to buy more pot. So I'm not doing any favors for you." I told him crossing my arms at him.

"Screw you." He told me angrily.

"Yeah, you say that because you know damn well I'm telling the truth." I said to him.

"Shut up!" Jeremy told me making me scoff.

"Me? Shut up? You should? You're wasting money for pot. Jenna is struggling and you think stealing money for your shit is good. What the hell is wrong with you, if mom and dad would-,"

"would what? Let's not forget mom and dad died on a plane? You got mom and dad killed!" Jeremy told me making me go all quiet.

It was dead silent in the car. He went to far. He said it in front of my friends. I turned to look at Allison, stiles, Lydia, and Jackson they all looked away. Jeremy parked on the side of three road.

"Fuck you!" I said to Jeremy before I got out of the car ignoring Jeremy's calls.

"Aurora!" I heard Allison said to me.

"Let's just get inside." I said to her as I grabbed Scott's key under the carpet and opening the door. I turned to look at all of them they all had a worried look for me. I turned to look at my brother who was behind them waiting for me to talk to him but I didn't want.

"If he wants to stay he can't stay." I said to them.

"But he can stay as far as he can from me. I don't want to kill him too." I said to them as I entered the house and went straight to the kitchen. I tossed my bag on the counter, my breath uneven.

Feeling my chest pounding as it will come out of me. He's right. I killed my parents. I was being a total brat the night they took the plane. They weren't even supposed to be on that plane, but they did because of me.

"Hey." I heard someone say from behind me making me turn to look at Stiles. He had his hands in his jeans pocket as he stood In front of me.

"Hey." I said wiping the tears off my face.

"Are you okay?" He asked me making me nod.

"Yeah, I'm okay." I said to him grabbing a tissue from the counter.

"That back there wasn't okay." He said to me making me scoff.

"It's fine. I've heard worst from him," I said shrugging my shoulders to him as he gave me a glance making me look down. I've handle more than that from him. And I'm still okay.

"You know you can always talk to me." Stiles said to me as he walked closer to me, he was now in front of me and I felt his breath hit my face.

"I know." I whispered to him softly.

"I'm not ready to talk about it." I said to Stiles as I fiddle with my hands, Stiles placed his hands on top of mine and I immediately looked up at him. His long hands are so soft I can just stay here feeling them around mine.

"Whenever you're ready I'll be here waiting for you." Stiles said to me as I stared into his eyes as he told me 'he'll wait for me.' I could never let go of this feeling I have for him.

He makes it hard. He doesn't know I had this huge crush on him.

He never knew I existed until the night i found Scott in the road with a bite on his hip.

"Thank you." I said to Stiles with a smile before I hesitated wrapping my arms around his shoulders, I felt it caught him by surprise since he didn't react to it before I felt his arms around my waist gripping me tightly like he doesn't want to let go of me and I don't either. I would stay here with him even if the world is burning down around us.

"Hey." I heard Allison said to us making me pull away from him as I let out a sniffle and wiping my tears away from my face.

"Your brother is still here." She said to me.

"Where?" I asked her.

"He's in the bathroom." Allison said pointing up stairs making me nod.

"Just make sure he leaves after I don't feel good talking to him after what happened." I said to Allison as she gave me a nod and looked between Stiles and I making me just nod at her as she walked away leaving me with him again.

"It's been to quiet." I said to Allison, she was looking out the window along with Stiles.

"Obviously." Stiles said making me roll my eyes. "Is my brother still here?" I asked her making her nod.

"Yeah, he is. He said he's not going until he talks to you." Allison told making me sigh. "Well, he's going to wait a little longer." I said to Allison,

"guys, they are here." Stiles said making me walk to the window as look out to see Derek, Boyd, Isaac, and Erica standing outside.

"Crap." I whispered turning to look at Stiles beside me.

"What are you doing?" Stiles asked Allison as I turned to look at her as she had her phone in her had.

"I think-" she said to us as she looked down. She was scared I could see it in her face.

"I think I have to call my dad." Allison said to us.

"No, what if he finds you here, you and Scott..." stiles said to her making her shake her head.

"I know," she said looking back at the window then back at us.

"But what are we supposed to do? They're not here to scare us, okay? They're here to kill Lydia." Allison told us making me look at Derek who was waiting for us outside.

She's scared I'm scared. She's right. They aren't here to scared us. They want to kill Lydia. "Calm down." I told her.

"Breathe. Nothing is going to happen. Scott will come back." I told her walking up to her as grabbing her hand. "I got an idea." Stiles said to us as I turned to face him.

"What?" I said giving him a frown. "Just shoot one of them." Stiles said making me raise my eyebrows at him.

"Are you serious?"

"You're out of your mind?" Allison and I said at the same time.

"We told Scott we could protect ourselves, so let's do it." Stiles whispered to us.

"Or at least give it a shot, right?" Stiles told us.

"Look, they don't think we're gonna fight, so if one of them gets hit, i guarantee they'll take off. So, just shoot one." Stiles told us making me nod.

"Okay, whatever. Who the hell is she going to shoot?" I asked stiles, he looked out the window to see who.

"Derek. Yeah, shoot him, preferably in the head." Stiles said making me scoff.

"If Scott was able to catch an arrow, Derek definitely can." Allison told stiles, I heard footsteps coming from behind me making me turn to see Jeremy standing there. Crap, he's here. He can't be here.

"You can't be here." I told him pushing him away.

"Just shoot one of the other three, then." Stiles told Allison as my brother stared at us.

"What's going on?" He asked but i didn't answer him.

"N-nothing. Just go back where you were." I said to him but he ignored me.

"You mean two." Allison said, I turned around looking at her confused.

"No, I mean three." Stiles said before he looked out the window.

"What's going on?" I asked him.

"Where the hell is Isaac?" Stiles said making me panic.

"Jeremy you need to go. Hide." I said to him.

"I'm not leaving." He told me, I want to punch him or yell at him to listen to me.

"Allison shoot one of them." I said to her as she positioned her cross bow at the window and she was ready to shoot. I had my arm in front of my brother just in case.

Someone came from behind and grabbed Allison's arm where she had the cross bow and tossed it to the ground before pushing her away.

"Allison!" I yelled. I saw Isaac coming in from of me with his eyes glowing.

"Jeremy run!" I yelled as Isaac grabbed me and tossed me to Scott's living room.

"Aurora!" I heard my brother yell out for me. I saw Isaac going to Stiles and did the same thing he did to me and stiles landed right next to me as Isaac came glowing his eyes at me before I saw my brother attack Isaac hitting him on the head.

"Jeremy no!" I said as he fought off Isaac but he grabbed Jeremy by the throat throwing him across the room.

"Aurora, Stiles it's here." I heard Allison yell from up stairs.

"Isaac let go of him." I said to him before I got up and jump on top of Isaac but he pushed himself against the wall making me fall to the ground.

"Rory," I heard Stiles said running towards me as I let out a groan.

"Hey, hey." He said to me as I look up and saw Scott coming in and grabbing Isaac and beating him until he was unconscious before tossing him outside.

"J-Jeremy?" I said before pushing away from Stiles and running to my brother who was on the ground, pale, not moving, he wasn't looking at me. He was in shock.

"Jeremy, are you okay?" I asked panicking as i saw my brother.

"Jeremy, talk to me!" I yelled as he looked up at me and just gave me a nod and I let out a sigh. He's okay, he's alright.

Scott came as tossed Erica outside, she was paralyzed not moving. Stiles, Allison, Scott and I came out to the house standing next to each other facing Derek.

"I think I'm finally getting why you keep refusing me, Scott." Derek said to Scott.

"You're not an omega. You're already an Alpha of your own pack." Derek said making me turn to look at Allison, and stiles.

"But you know you can't beat me." Derek said letting out a smile looking at us.

"I can hold you off until the cops get here." Scott told Derek making his smile go away, that's when I heard the police sirens from far away.

We all heard footsteps scurrying on the roof making us move away from the porch. That's when I saw the most horrifying Kanima that makes me want to throw up. God, it's so ugly.

It let out a horrifying roar just how it looks like I stepped back my back hitting stiles and without thinking I grabbed his hand as he wrapped one arm around me protecting.

That thing is really scary.

"Get them out of here." I heard Derek say to Boyd, before I saw Lydia coming out of the house making me go beyond and extremely confused.

"Would someone please tell me what the hell is going on?" Was all Lydia said when she came out as my brother came from behind her too.

"I would like to know that too." He said to behind her as I turned to stiles.

"It's Jackson." Scott said as I turned to Scott. Jackson's the Kanima. Not Lydia. My brother is here.

He saw everything. He knows about it now and I can't lie to him. Not anymore. I turned to Derek but he was already gone and so was Isaac and Erica's body.

"What do we do now?" I asked them.

"I'll find Jackson." Scott said making me nod.

"I'll go with him." Stiles said to me making me nod.

"I'll take Lydia, and Allison home since they came with me." I said to Scott making him.

"I would love to go and help you guys but-," I said turning to look at my brother.

"I have to deal with him. He was here. He saw everything and I know I can't lie to him." I said to them as they looked at my bother.

"That's alright." Stiles said to me making me nod.

"Be careful when you get home." Stiles told me making my stomach spin like crazy.

"Yeah." I said to him before I let go of him and his hand and turned to Lydia and Allison.

"I'll drive." I said to them as they grabbed their stuff and I went up to my brother. As he just stared at me blankly.

"What the hell are you in?" He asked me making me sigh.

"We need to talk. You and me." I said to him as he just stared at me not saying anything.

"It was the day, when we were starting school," I said to him.

"I went out for a walk. I didn't know anything at first." I said to Jeremy as he just stared at me waiting  for me to continue.

"I heard a scream, and me being curious I went to go check and it was a kid in the middle of the road with a bite on his hip. I heard a wolf. That's when I met Scott for the very first time. And then, I met stiles." I said to my brother.

"That's when you started to hang out with them?" He asked me making me nod.

"Y-yeah." I whispered.

"Anyways, since the bite Scott was having super hearing, able to smell things, getting good at things." I said to him.

"Then Stiles began to search more about it until he found it was because he was a werewolf. Stiles and I confronted Scott but didn't believed us until it happened. We were at Lydia's party when it happened. Scott left Allison at the party, Stiles went after him. Leaving me and Allison. Derek came and picked us up and dropped us at our houses. That's when stiles came and told me Scott went after Derek and how he'd turned." I said to my brother shrugging my shoulders.

"That was the day my life changed." I said to him move my gaze away from him.

"And from there, we were figuring out who bit Scott, and why. And then hunters came in. Searching for the Alpha." I said to him.

"Who's the alpha?" My brother asked me.

"I'm getting there." I said with a laugh. Was this a good idea to tell him? I don't know.

"We were helping Scott to try and control himself on the full moon which wasn't progress because he almost killed me and Stiles." I said with a small laugh but Jeremy didn't react to it making me clear my throat.

"Then, happened the day we were attacked at the school." I said as I lift my head and his attention was on me.

"You mean the day you almost died?" Jeremy said making me nod.

"We were being chased by the Alpha." I said to him.

"I thought it was Derek?" He asked me making me shake my head no.

"That was a cover up. Scott made that up because Jackson, Lydia, and Allison were there and didn't know anything about it. And because Scott thought Derek died because the alpha dig his claws on to Derek and blood came out of his mouth." I said to him.

"Anyways, after that we were being chased by the alpha and we couldn't get out of the school. We were all scared. That's when I told them I didn't want to be with them not anymore after what happened." I said to Jeremy.

"But that was a lie because after that we found out that Peter was the alpha." I said making my brother's eyes go wide open.

"Wait, Peter? As in Derek's uncle. The one who took care of us sometimes?" Jeremy asked me making me nod.

"Yep, he was the one almost ending up killing us. He wanted Scott in his pack. He wanted to give me the bite. He wanted me to become a werewolf." I said to him.

"I turned him down. Then the winter formal came and everything was going down. Allison's dad and the rest of her family are hunters and they wanted to kill Scott. And Allison found out and Scott ran off. Allison's aunt Kate, she kidnapped Derek and tortured him making Peter go angry. Lydia asked me to go help her find Jackson and I did when we were attacked my Peter." I said to him.

"That's how you ended up in the hospital?" Jeremy's asked making me nod.

"Yeah, Peter wanted Stiles to help him track down Derek and he didn't have a choice because he threatened Stiles by killing me so he helped him. After being at the hospital I snuck out when aunt Jenna left and I went with Stiles and Jackson to help Scott. When we made it there we saw them fight Peter. Stiles tossed a Molotov cocktail at Peter and Allison aimed an arrow at him making him burn and then tossed the other when Peter was about to attack Allison when Scott jumped in and fought Peter off. Peter was weak by then, he couldn't fight. His body started to turn back human when Derek appeared and stood in front of Peter." I said letting out a sigh.

"Derek lied to Scott about a cure. He told him, that the cure came from the one that bit you. Derek lied to Scott and then he killed Peter making Derek become the alpha." I said to my brother rubbing my hands on my thighs.

"That's when Derek started to create his own pack. He bit Isaac, then Erica, and then Boyd." I said to Jeremy.

"Those people you saw he bit them so he can have a pack of his own. Scott didn't want to be in his pack." I said as I left out about me asking Derek for the bite.

"And then, we were being attacked by a creature name the Kanima that can paralyzed a person from the neck and down. Derek thought it was Lydia he had to test her during chemistry class. And she failed, which led us where we are now." I said to him.

"That's why you asked me to help you sneak her out of school and bring her to Scott's house?" Jeremy asked me as I gave him a simple nod.

"So who's the Kanima?" Jeremy asked me making me sigh.

"Jackson." I said to him.

"Scott and Stiles are tracking him right now before he tries to kill someone else." I said to him.

"That's all that's how I'm in this mess." I said to Jeremy as he gave me a nod.

"How do we help?" He asked me making me lift up my head and frown giving him a scoff.

"I just told you this because of what happened tonight. I didn't tell you so you can get into it." I said to him as I got up from the couch.

"I'm not letting you go through this on your own." He told me.

"You will. I didn't want to tell you because I'm trying to protect you."

"I don't need you to protect me. You know you can't protect forever." Jeremy said making me sigh. He's right. I can't protect him forever.

"I know." I said to him before I let out a sigh. I'm going to regret this.

"We won't do anything not until Scott asks." I said to Jeremy making him nod.

"We could protect ourselves. Dad taught us how to defend ourselves. We can hunt down." He said to me making me point at him and pause.

"We are not hunting anything." I said to him.

"Just go to bed Jeremy." I said to him making him laugh. Before he stopped laughing.

"I didn't mean what I said." He blurted it out making me nod.

"I know, but it's true anyways." I said to him.

"It wasn't your fault you know that." He said to me before he placed a kiss on my forehead making me nod.

"Go to sleep." I said to him as he walked away leaving me alone in the living room. This has been one hell of a day.
