Warning: honestly kind of a boring and short chapter actually :/

𝑨𝒏 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑻𝒐 𝑲𝒐𝒚𝒖𝒌𝒊 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐚...

...𝐊𝐎𝐘𝐔𝐊𝐈 sighed, busy brushing away at her teeth while staring away into the reflection of her bathroom mirror, body wrapped around in a white towel, just had recently finished taking a shower in the own comfort of her apartment.

She then gulped in some water from the cup she placed in the side of the sink and started gargling her mouth with it before spitting it all into the sink and spat out some remaining toothpaste in her mouth then proceeded brushing her teeth again.

After koyuki finally got done brushing her teeth, dressed in her work attire, left the bathroom and approached her bed where her uniform was neatly folded was there waiting to be worn. She dropped her towel and started putting on her undergarments first, which were all white and lacy and started wearing the rest of her suit.

Koyuki, now in her work attire was now only needing her shoes and in only now her socks. She grabbed the towel that laid on the floor and put it back in the shower rack and then left the bedroom to prepare breakfast before leaving.

Since she only had a few more hours to get ready for work, she can still kill some time by watching some TV, waking up extremely early in the morning, around 3:30 AM and work is supposed to start around 7AM, it wasn't really that much of a problem to her because she didn't really had any friends to hang out with and her exercises would only happen after she was done at work. So she basically had all the time she had for herself, and she was fine with that.

Koyuki turned on the heater as she placed down the kettle of water and prepared the cocoa powder and a jar of sugar. Koyuki really didn't liked coffee so she instead drinked hot chocolate which was one of her favorite beverages. And usually liked with a little bit of extra sugar on it than normal, considering she was a bit of a sweet tooth. Actually scratch that, she was practically ADDICTED to sweets. Especially chocolates and would buy at any given opportunity. But always made sure she balanced it out with her training.

She then placed down a frying pan just beside the kettle and turned on the heater underneath it as well and started pouring some oil into the pan and watched them slowly simmer in the heat.

When she finally saw the oil in the pan bubbling she cracked two eggs and dropped them on the pan and it started sizzling upon their landing along with a few bacon pieces alongside them. Koyuki went to grab a two slices of bread from the cabinets above her and dipped them into the toaster and activated it which it fully dipped inside the toaster to heat up.

Koyuki started pouring the powder and sugar into a cup. Then turned off the heater to the kettle and started pouring the steaming hot water into the cup the steam clouding upon my face, it made my stomach growl more upon the smell, she lets out a content smile on her face, she was already feeling eager to eat right away now.

Once koyuki got all the food ready on the plate, she put away the pan in the dish sink and planned on washing it when she got home.

Koyuki approached to the living room and placed the steaming dish and her hot coco down on the table, she then approached to her book which was just next to the TV and grabbed the remote that laid along side the books on top which were just consisted of Stephen King's novel works, the rest at the bottom contained very little books from other authors to none at the very bottom. She was quite a fan of his books and would always buy one when she gets or goes to work. And would even bring one to work to read it on her breaks.

She started to wander her finger around each books, pondering about which one to bring to work today, and finally decided to settle on Firestarter, which is about a girl who can control fire along with the government trying to capture such power from her.

She eagerly took the book and plopped it in her suit case that laid on the couch and closed it back up. Before finally settling down in front of the food and then turned on the TV while sipping some of her coco in the cup and dine in her food.

Koyuki then shut the door to her apartment, then locked it with the key before putting it inside her bra, yeah, she had a bit of a habit of hiding her things away inside her clothing, she only wanted to be sure it was always nearby her. But they were always the small ones so they won't be noticeable despite her work short being quite baggy because she preferred ones bigger than her body.

Koyuki started to walk away from the apartment complex and on to the streets, her workplace was only 20 minutes away from home and it was now around 5 in the morning so she still had a bit of time to spare.

As she was walking, she looked down in her pockets and fumbled around in for her yen, deciding that'd she'd take the bus to work for today. She let's out a yelp of surprise as she accidentally bumped into someone and stumbled back, almost falling to the ground and then she looked up at the person.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't see where I was going!" She said and quickly bowed down twice before looking up to get a batter look at the person who now had her attention to her. She felt a little creeped out by her apathetic gaze.

The person she bumped into was a woman, who was noticably a few inches taller than her, probably standing around 5'8 -5'9, and she was only around 5'4, wearing a formal business suit with a black overcoat covering almost the majority of her body, her light red hair tied into a neat braid with two below the chin bangs hanging down from her face. Her eyes were yellow with a noticable ring in them. It was rather beautiful to say the least.

"Oh, that was alright, I'm not hurt." The woman replied, snapping her out of her train of thoughts, koyuki felt her cheeks getting flushed. But she didn't know if it was from embarrassment or something else...

"I've got to go now, again I'm sorry for bumping into you." Koyuki said as went to walk around her to leave but the woman stopped by putting her hand out in front of her way. "Hold on, please." The woman spoke. And she looked at her confused.

"What's your name?" She asked, tilting her head to the left. Koyuki gulped as she noticed how close they were together, their bodies only inches away from touching one another.

Koyuki started stammering a bit, but made sure to remain cool."I-um..I... I'm koyuki tanaka, ma'am.." She wanted to facepalm herself so badly right now because she just decided to just reveal her full name to some woman she just met.

The woman let's out a smile and leaned away from her, much to her relief but with a hint of... Disappointment. And It annoyed her further. "I'm makima." She said and reached her hand out to shake, to she did and slowly shook it before quickly pulling away and waved at the strange woman with a strain smile at her way.

"I have to leave now, I'm late for work... Goodbye!" Koyuki sputtered out before quickly walking away from her without giving her a chance to speak up, makima watching her with a smile, she for some reason had a feeling that this won't the last time they'll be seeing each other.
