Daddy Issues ~ The Neighbourhood

If you were my little girl
I'd do whatever I could do
I'd run away and hide with you
I know that you got daddy issues, and I do
too

Aaron rubbed Amaria back as she cried. "I-I'm sorry I messed up your jacket..." Amaria apologized. "It's fine, it's okay to cry. Amaria you're a very strong little girl, and I need you to be strong for me one more time and answer some questions, can you do that for me?" Aaron askes gently. Amaria brought her thin arm under her nose and wiped her nose. She nodded curtly.

"Okay, if you want me to stop asking questions just tell me okay?" He asked. "Okay..." Amaria nodded. "Earlier you said your dad would take you somewhere in the a red car?" Aaron inquired. Amaria nodded again to confirm Aaron's statement. "Where would he take you Amaria?" Aaron inquired gently. "To the slaughter house..." Amaria said. Her voice was calm, and yet at the same time filled with terror...

A wise person once said: "When there is determination success will follow."

May 4th 2002 | Quantico, Virginia

"Novak..." Amaria said with distaste. "Amaria Mathias...face to face at long last..." Novak stated, his throaty Russian accent coating his words. "More like ugly-mug to back of head...but that's exactly what you wanted isn't it?" Amaria quipped as she turned around to face the man who'd murdered the man she loved.

Novak laughed and punched Mathias. Mathias rubbed her jaw where Novak had punched her. She spit some blood from her mouth on the ground and looked Novak dead in the eye. "Ya' hit like a prepubescent girl..." Mathias stated with an unimpressed expression on her face. "Yeah?" Novak asked as he walked closer to Mathias and kneed her in the stomach.

Mathias coughed a little but lost little of her composure. "Lemme tell ya' somthin' Novak...ya' grow up a scrawny girl in the Bronx ya' learn how to take punch..." Mathias stated as licked her cut lip. "Ya' also learn how to throw one too!" Mathias said as she twisted the gun from Novak's hand and hit him over the head with it.

Mathias tossed the gun acros the room. Novak started to stand up but Mathias swiftly kicked him in the stomach. Mathias kneeled to Novak's level and pulled out her cuffs. Novak plunged a knife into Mathias' thigh and yanked it down. "Argh!" Mathias yelled. Novak grabbed a fistful of Mathias' hair and banged her head on the wall repeatedly. Mathias grabbed a knife from her ankle and jabbed it in Novak's arm. "DARGH!" Novak yelled in pain.

Mathias rose shakily but she gained her balance. She swiftly tugged on Novak's bloodied arm twisted and pinned him down with her knee and grabbed his other arm and cuffed it. Mathias tugged Novak from off the ground and as he got up he tried to make a break for it but Mathias grabbed another knife from her other anlke and threw it.

The knife peirced Novak's heel. Mathias walked over to him and grabbed his already bleeding arm tightly. "Try that again and I'll shoot you instead." Mathias said as she grabbed the disgarded gun and pointed it at Novak's back. "You okay over there Alfalfy?" Amaria asked as she turned over to Reid. He just nodded stiffly.

The poor kid looked as if he was going to faint. This was probably his first time seeing a fight such as the one that had just happened. "C'mon, let's go Hotch us waitin' for ya." Amaria said. "Wh-uh- H-Hotch?" Reid stammered out in confusion. "Uhh-...yeah, yeah Agent Hotchner, your boss." Amaria said realizing that the nickname was most likely only farmiliar to her.

"O-Oh, right, uhm s-sorry..." Spencer stuttered. Mathias could tell that he was still in shock. Spencer started walking with Mathias in. He gradually came out of his daze. Mathias and Reid walked out of the hotel. Aaron and Mathias' team ran up to meet her. "Here take 'im before I kill 'im..." Amaria stated with winced. "

Here, take Alfalfy, Hotch." Mathias said as she limped away her head was bloody from being slammed against the wall and her leg was actively bleeding. "Alright, okay lets get you to a medic." Antonio said. "I'll be fine." Amaria protested as she tried to walk away but her leg finally gave out as she had to go down a two flights of stairs in order to get out the building. Aaron quickly caught Amaria.

"Amaria, go to the medic, please." Aaron stated in a fatherly tone Amaria rolled her eyes but surrendered. Aaron helped Amaria get to the medic. "These cuts are pretty deep, and she may have a concusion. She's gonna need to go to the hospital." Said the on sight medic. "Okay." Aaron said as he got into the ambulance with Amaria.

"Hey, you okay kid?" Derek asked Spencer. Spencer looked at Derek and just nodded. He was barely hurt just a small cut on the cheek from getting punched. A bruise had started to form on his cheek as well. "You want some ice for that?" Derek inquired with concern as he picked up an ice pack and offered him.

"No, I'm okay, being a twelve year old boy in a Las Vegas high-school you get used to getting punched..." Spencer joked a little."Okay kid. Hey I'm glad you're okay." Derek said as he patted Spencer's shoulder. Spencer nodded and smiled.

"Thanks Morgan." He replied. Meanwhile Amaria and Aaron arrived at the hospital. "I don't need stitches! Just clean it off with rubbing alcohol, and stick a band-aid on it!" Amaria childishly objected. "Amaria, behave." Aaron said authoritatively.

Amaria huffed and crossed her arms but listened. "Amaria...would you like to hold my hand?" Aaron asked with a bit of a smile on his face. Amaria frowned a little but said yes. Aaron walked over to Amaria and held his hand squeezing his hand ever son tightly as the Doctor stitched the gash on her head shut.

The Doctor then began to clean off the lengthy slash on Amaria's leg. Amaria let out an audible wince. Aaron rubbed Amaria's hand. The Doctor began stitching the wound and a string of swear words left Amaria's mouth and Aaron was tempted to tell her to watch her language, but let her be.

Once the Doctor was done with the stitches She rapped Amaria's leg with some guaze and rolled up a wheel chair for her. "DON'T walk on that leg Amaria, I mean it!" The Doctor said, The Doctor was a family Doctor and she knew that Amaria liked to defy the Doctor's orders.

"Don't worry Dr. Helen, she won't I'll keep a close eye on her." Aaron reassured. Aaron rolled Amaria into the parking lot and then picked her up and put her in passenger seat.Aaron then went to the back and put her wheel chair in the trunk. He went back around and got in the driver's seat. "How's mom?" Amaria tried to make conversation and catch up with her dad.

"Well, Haley's doing fine, she'd feel even better if you called..." Aaron said. "Yeah," Amaria sighed. "Yeah I know dad...it's just, life been...busy, I guess...I-I just, I don't know there's just a lot goin' on right now..." Amaria said, she didn't really know what to say. Amaria felt hot tears prickle her eyes but she looked up and attempted to blink them away.

Aaron pulled over. "Amaria, sweetie, it's okay to cry..." Aaron stated as he grabbed Amaria's hand. With those word's Amaria began to cry. Aaron hugged her and Amaria hugged her dad back. For the first time since Alessandro died, Amaria began to cry and just release all her pent up anger and sadness.

"It's not fair..." She said through sobs. "I know sweet heart, I know..." Aaron comforted as he rubbed Amaria's back. Aaron could only imagine what Amaria felt like. He couldn't begin to imagine how he'd feel if he lost Haley. "I don't want him to be gone..." Amaria muttered through her weeping. "I'm so sorry sweetie, but I'm always here, just let it all out okay." Aaron comforted. Amaria had just always been the type to bottle up her emotions. Very few people could get her to open up, and unfortunately she's just lost one of them.
