"Happy Birthday To You~"

Everyone clap as they end the song with Lisa blowing the candle. "My daughter is 18 now. I'm so proud of you." The Luna says as she hugged her which of course she hugged back. They soon pull away as the Alpha approaches them "You'll always make us proud." He says as he kisses her forehead.

"It's time for gifts!" Jennie says as she approaches them with a huge present as Taehyung trailed from behind. "Yah, this present is way bigger than the one that you give Taehyung on his birthday, won't he be jealous?" Lisa teased as Taehyung huffed at her.

"I know right? She's so cruel to me." He complains making Jennie glare at him. He smiles innocently at her before inching away from his mate. Soon they all burst out laughing at the two mates bicker. They enjoyed the party happily all night.

But Lisa wasn't really happy.

To her, her 18th birthday is... Meaningless. Every wolf was so excited to reach 18 because that is the moment when they would meet their other half, Lisa was the same, was. Now, what's the point of celebrating? She gets older but nothing special in it.

She will grow older alone.

Might as well get used to it. She couldn't express how did she felt because her family are trying so hard to make her happy. She could just place a smile on her face and enjoy her birthday like how she was supposed to. Since she had come off age, she tried alcohol for the first time.

Everyone cheers for her to drink so she did. When the liquor enters her throat, she felt a burning sensation on her throat. It tastes bitter but good in a pleasant way. She hissed at the new feeling that she felt but she got to admit that she like it so she drink again.

She just drink two glasses of them and she was already drunk. Everyone else drinks too as they exchange jokes and laugh. Lisa did enjoy their conversation and start hiccuping at some point before slamming her head on the table and falling asleep.

Lisa stumble on her step as she enters the bathroom to wash her face. It had past midnight and everyone had passed out in the living room. Lisa woke up and feel the need to go to the bathroom so she did. She's still drunk and barely could even think straight.

She washes her face twice and blinks a few times while trying to balance herself. She rubs her face and looks at herself in the mirror. A pathetic laugh left her lips as she look at herself "How unlucky of me. I have such a pretty face but will stay lonely forever." She complains to herself and huffs.

She step out of the bathroom with a pouty face as she walks towards the balcony. She squints her eyes at the moon that is shining brightly in the dark sky. "Gods are really cruel to me." She mumbles and sighs as she gazes at the moon.

"Aish... Is being lonely a sin, or am I lonely because I sinned?" She mumble to herself as she hugged herself when the cold breeze hit her skin. It was silent until another voice speak up.

"It can be both at the same time."

Lisa snap her head towards the owner of the voice and saw Jungkook standing not so far from her. "Oh- Big Alpha, since when are you there?" She asked as soon as she recognize the person. Jungkook crosses his arm and loon away "I'm here from the first place." He replies.

"Why aren't you asleep yet?" Lisa asked in confusion making Jungkook look at her and raise his left eyebrow "Did you drink? Are you drunk right now?" He asked as Lisa grinned at him "It's my birthday today." She tells him and he nod.

"I know."

Hearing that, a pout form on her lips "You know and you don't even attend my party." She complains. Jungkook stares at the omega who is sulking and decides to approach her. "Why should I? The party would be ruined." He say as he stood beside her.

"Why would it be ruined? It's my party and I want to invite you." She says as Jungkook lets out an amused huff "You sure are as weird as the kids in this pack." He says. However, he was startled when suddenly hugged him out of nowhere. He froze in his place as he was confused by the sudden action.

"What are you doing? Let go." He says as he tries to push her away but she just tightens the hug. She rests her head on his chest and mumbles "Now I understand." Hearing that from the omega, Jungkook stop struggling and glance at her who sigh

"I understand what does it felt to feel lonely."

Hearing her confession Jungkook just stood there in silence "It's barely a day and it hurts so much." She complained as she keep hugging him "I felt jealous with my unnie and I want to be valued by someone too." This time, her voice come out like a whisper.

Jungkook who had been silent finally speak up "everybody value you. The entire realm value you, aren't it more than enough?" He asked "They value me because I'm the blue moon omega. My blood carries the fate of the world. I don't have that one person who values me for just me, myself, Lisa." She says.

Jungkook keeps silent as he slowly brings up his arm and wraps it around her fragile body. Hugging her and securing her in his embrace. That's when a tear slide down her cheek when she felt the warmness around her. So safe. That's the only thing that she could describe.

She doesn't want to let go.

Seeing the omega snuggling closer to him, Jungkook brings up his palm and softly caress her hair, comforting her. Being in his embrace, she felt protected, what is this? Aren't this man was suppose to be her enemy? It was supposed to be like that but it felt wrong.

Jungkook glances at the omega that is seeking warmth from him. Without thinking twice, He couldn't help but kiss her hair softly with so much affection, telling her that it will be fine. Feeling the comfort, Lisa finds herself falling asleep in the Demon Alpha's embrace.

Knowing that the omega is now at ease, Jungkook picks her up and brings her to her bedroom. Placing her on the King-sized bed, Jungkook make sure to cover her with the blanket. Seeing the omega deep in sleep, Jungkook sat beside her and bring up his palm to push her hair behind her ears to see her face more clearly.

The room was dark with only the moonlight entering the room and shining on her delicate skin. Jungkook stare at her face silently as her voice rang in his head.

"I don't have that one person who values me for just me, myself, Lisa."

Her voice rang repeatedly in his head as he stare at her soft feature. "I did." He whispers to himself. He stood up from the bed and snap his finger as a necklace was suddenly formed in his palm.

He went near her and place it on her neck. He smile in satisfaction when he saw how the necklace suits her. He lends a soft kiss on the omega's forehead as he whispers.

"Happy Birthday."
