NO ONE P.O.V

Jungkook is sitting by the lake as his gaze is focused on the piece of wood that he is carving. Carefully, he tries his best to make the best bow with the best quality from the best material, thanks to Jimin's help. It was almost 3 weeks and he had almost completed the bow.

Tonight is the full moon and he is so determined in finishing it today. "Oi, I know you're so excited about meeting your omega today but at least take some break to eat you, idiot," Jimin says as he approaches the male with 2 Apples in his hand. He sat beside Jungkook who lift his gaze towards the older

Jimin passes the Apple and Jungkook accept it. Both of them took a bite of the Apple as Jungkook put away the bow. They silently eat when Jimin finally speaks up "Hey, Kook, Do you want to know something that I could do?" He asked as Jungkook raise his left eyebrow "What is it?" He asked.

Jimin smirked and put away the apple as he stood up. He stood in front of Jungkook and take a deep breath as he flutter his eyes closed. Jungkook just looks at the older as some kind of shadow surrounded Jimin, the male opens his eyes as they turn fully white with no black.

The shadow surrounded Jimin and he turn into a tall, and shadow-like creature, his hadow form. Jungkook just stare at the older, unfazed and not surprised, he had seen this so many times, fuck it, he is the very first person to see Jimin transform into his Hadow form and it's nothing new.

But what happened next took him off guard, Jimin suddenly turn into some sort of liquid and moved towards Jungkook's shadow. Jungkook widen his eyes when Jimin disappeared completely into his shadow. He looks around, trying to search for the older.

He even walks around as his shadow also follows him "Hyung? Are you there?" He called out as he stare at his own shadow in confusion. He flinches and almost curses when a pair of white eyes appear in his shadow. "What in the- Hyung? Is that you?" He asked and a wide grin appear in his shadow.

"Hello, Kook." Jungkook's mouth almost fell "How- How did you get in there?" He asked as he still look at his own shadow in confusion. His shadow suddenly grows and turns to Jimin's figure "It's one of my species' abilities, we can hide and turn into a shadow." He says as Jungkook's lips turn into an 'o' shaped.

"Daebak, why didn't you tell me before?" He asked as Jimin just shrug "I never really wanted to go anywhere, so I never use this ability." He said making Jungkook raise his left eyebrow "If that so, are you going anywhere now?" He asked as Jimin nodded "I want to follow you around." He admits.

"I have to admit, growing up here is fun but it's getting boring these days, I want to see something new, you always told me about the outside world, and to be honest, I envy you sometimes. So, can I do that?" He asked as Jungkook turn his lips into a thin line. He keeps silent for a moment.

It's not that Jimin can't, he can but like Jungkook always says, everything in this world has a price, and Jimin had 2 prices to pay. His safety and Jungkook's privacy. Jungkook is sure that Jimin knows about this and he doesn't have the heart to say no, he pities the older for only staying here his entire life. Sighing, he finally speaks up.

"You just have to take care of yourself okay?" He asked as Jimin immediately smile and nod happily, "Thank you, Jungkook! You're the best" He says as his eyes disappear when he smiles. Jungkook smiled at his own shadow "Of course, I'm always the best" Jimin could just smile at that as he silently thought to himself.

That's right, you're the best person in my life...

That's why I'll try my best to protect you.

Jimin just follows Jungkook through his shadow as he looks around. After Jungkook finish with his bow, he decided that he need to leave to get ready for his 'date' today. Jungkook was walking back to his home but he halt his step when a familiar voice call out for him "My son."

Jungkook felt like cursing when he heard that. He slowly turns around "Hello, father." When Jimin heard that, he knew that this old man in his 50s are Jungkook's father. For an old man, he looks strong to Jimin, the old man smiled at the Trueblood "How are you doing, son?" He asked as Jungkook forced a smile.

"Never been better." He replies forcefully as the older nod "I want you to go to the witch kingdom tomorrow." Jungkook immediately frowns "Why?" He asked as the Alpha King shrugged "You're going to get married soon which means you'll be the next Alpha King, it will be best if you personally invite the Queen of The Witch Kingdom don't you think?"

Jungkook's frown gone deeper "Marriage?" His father chuckles and shakes his head "Didn't you meet your mate for almost a month? You should get married quickly for the pack don't you think? A marriage is a holy ceremony, why should we delay it a good thing?"

Jungkook was so stunned when he heard what did his father just said. Should I feel threatened? He asked himself and before he could even say anything his father smiled at him. The old man approaches the True-blood and what happened next really takes Jungkook off guard.

His father hugged him.

Jungkook was totally frozen, he don't know how to react as his father pat his shoulder like how a caring father would. He never felt this kind of affection, not from his own father "My son, I'm so proud of you, you're a strong Alpha just like how I wish you to be, you'll be a good leader."

"After all, you're my son."

The old man said as he pull away, seeing Jungkook all confused and stunned he just chuckle and pat Jungkook's shoulder twice before walking away. Jungkook who finally pull himself out from his own thought turn to his father who is walking away with his back facing him as he asks himself.

Is that a father's love? If it was...

It felt so nice.

Jungkook had never felt a father's love all his life so when he witness this, deep in his heart, he is hopeful, very hopeful that he can be closer to his own father. Jungkook was too overwhelmed with his own thought that he didn't know how his father are smirking evilly as he walk away.

Love?

His father was beyond corrupted to even feel love. I'm sorry Jungkook, I have to tear that hope apart, you don't know how disgusted he was at the thought of his son getting married to an omega but he can't get into argument because of that.

His relationship with the True-blood is bad enough, if he can't make his son obey him by force then he will use his most beloved to make the True-blood listen to him. To do that, he has to play pretend and let it go with the flow. With the sinister smirk still on his face, he just walks away...

Not knowing that Jimin is following him through his shadow.

When they are hugging Jimin takes the opportunity to enter Jungkook's father's shadow and none of them noticed anything. Lol-

I'm deeply sorry for not updating for the past few days, you know... There is that time when life is tough for us so I have no choice but to take a break. I deeply apologize. In return, the next chapter will be special for Liskook, the chapter is half complete, I'll try to update today if I can. I'm sorry once again.
