NO ONE P.O.V

"Pleasure to meet you, your highness."

Taehyung says with a smile as Rose steps out from the carriage. Rose smiled back "You too Alpha Kim." Both of them exchange a handshake "how's your ride here your highness?" Jennie asks soon after with a warm smile.

"It's well, Luna Kim. The journey was calming." She says and another voice interrupts them "Welcome to this lovely pack, your highness." All of them turn to the owner of the voice and smile upon seeing Jungkook approaching them with Lisa by his side.

"Did you come alone, your highness?" Lisa ask as Rose look at her and smile "My parents have to stay back in the kingdom to look out for the kingdom. They send their congratulations for you but... I do come with someone." Rose says as she glances behind her.

Lilith.

She jumps out from the carriage and crosses her arm as she looks at them coldly "Who's that?" Taehyung is the first one to ask and break the silence "Princess Lilith, the more worthy princess to be a Queen." Lilith introduces herself with a visible arrogance and bitterness in her voice.

Everyone glanced at each other when they heard that but Rose just sigh "She's my sister." She admits "Oh... Never knew that you have a little sister." Taehyung plays along "You don't have to know, it's none of your business." Lilith hissed.

She walks away and demands the maids to bring her to her chamber rudely. Glaring once at Lisa before she left. Jungkook just watch the witch leave as he bit his bottom lips, not liking her attitude "I'm sorry Jungkook, She insist on following me, I can't decline her." Rose apologies.

Jungkook turns to her and smiles "It's no big deal, we can't let your sister ruin the fun right?" He says as Rose just smiles and nods. Taehyung decide to lighten up the mood by making jokes and thankfully he succeed as laughter filled the atmosphere.

From afar, Lilith halts her step and glances over her shoulder. She sends Rose a sharp glare as she glances at Jungkook once then back at Rose. Lilith knows the look in Rose's eyes, it's obvious and she knows already. Lilith glanced at Lisa as a smirk appears on her lips.

"Just you wait Rose, I'll get rid of you."

In the few days, people are getting busier, especially Lisa. She had been trying clothes and checking on everything, the same goes for Jungkook. He is completing some pack business and stuff. "Aish, you're the bride, not the maid, Lali. You shouldn't be in the kitchen."

Jisoo rushed towards Lisa as soon as she enter the kitchen upon seeing her making some moon cake. Lisa chuckled "It's nothing unnie, I just really want to make this one. Besides me and my mate had been busy these days, we've barely met." She says.

"I saw him walking in the garden, maybe I could ask him for some tea." Lisa said with a small smile as Jisoo chuckled "Yeah, yeah, as you please, dear future bride." She teased as Lisa just smile shyly "I'll get going now, see you unnie." She excuses herself as Jisoo just shakes her head in amusement.

"Adorable."

"You seem miles away, Kook."

Jungkook snaps out from his own world as he looks at the owner of the voice as a smile appears on his face "Rose." He says as Rose smile and walks towards him "What are you thinking? You look so immersed in your own world." She asked as Jungkook chuckled.

"Nothing, just about some works and stuff." Jungkook shrugged as he look back at the scenery that he is staring at just now. Rose cross her arm "Chill down Big guy, your big day is coming in a few days. You should get a good rest." She says with a caring tone.

Jungkook just smile "How's your stay here? Is everything good?" He changed the topic and she decided to play along "Yeah, everything is good, Taehyung and Jennie are there to accompany me." She replies and Jungkook nod.

"Good to know that." He says. There was silence between them as the soft breeze hit them. Rose bit her bottom lips as she speak up "Jungkook, about that day in my ancestor's ritual-" She cut herself off as Jungkook looked at her "You don't have to think so much about it okay?" She continues.

Jungkook nods his head "Yeah, sure." He says "But there is something that I want to ask though." He adds as Rose keeps silent, telling him to continue "If I'm 'Death', Who will be the other 5?" He asked because if he's dead.

Then who's life?

Rose takes a deep breath and shakes her head "I don't know, it could be anybody, someone who you don't or someone close to you " She says as Jungkook nod. "I'll get going Jungkook, don't think too much about it." She says as Jungkook just keeps silent.

She says as she turns away to leave but unlucky her when she suddenly stumbles and fell. However thanks to Jungkook's fast reflex he immediately caught her, wrapping his strong arm around her waist as Rose accidentally place her palm on his chest.

They were stunned about what just happened but Jungkook are the first one to lift his gaze when he suddenly smelled vanilla scent near him and he widen his eyes upon seeing Lisa standing not so far from him with a plate of moon cake in her hand.

Rose also looks in the direction where Jungkook was looking and her eyes also widen. Lisa look down as she let out a breath she felt something boiling inside of her and it also stings as if something is poking her heart with a needle.

Realizing his position, he immediately picks Rose up back to the standing position and lets go of her. Lisa bit her bottom lips as she don't even spare a glance at Jungkook and run away "W-wait, Lisa!" Jungkook called out as he run after her leaving Rose standing there.

Rose let out a breath as she look down in guilt. Not so far from the scene, there stood Lilith, crossing her arms as she lean on the wall "It suits you sister, let's see how you handle this. The reason for a mate breaks apart." She mumbles and pokes her inner cheek with her tongue.

An evil smirk appears on her lips.
