NO ONE P.O.V

Lisa walked back home with Jungkook following her from behind. They didn't speak at all along their path, the was only silence. Lisa is in her own world, thinking about the conversation that they had. She was so immersed that she don't realize that they had reached home.

Lisa halt her steps as she pull herself out of her thought. She turn around, wanting to thank him but to her dismay, he was not there anymore. A sigh left her lips as a cold breeze hit her skin. Feeling the coldness of the night, Lisa hugged herself as she left and enter the house.

Jungkook gazes at her from afar, seeing her entering the house safely, he turns around and walks away into the forest before vanishing from the scene.

Rose sat under a tree in the forest with moonlight accompanying her. She just silently stared at the moon. She won't know what she is thinking, what she is feeling or what should she do? Rose let out a long sigh.

Rose moved her gaze and it lends on the dark peony flower near her. People had been talking about the ancient flower that should be extinct. This power had saved many lives, she knows, maybe deep down, the Demon Alpha isn't purely evil.

After all, there are good guys who have to act evil, to protect themselves.

Her thoughts were cut off when she suddenly heard the leaves moving inside the forest. She's not a werewolf, even if she can't smell the person, she can feel them and this energy feels so familiar to her. She recognizes it instantly.

Jimin

What is he doing here so late at night? She asked herself. Sneakily and silently she follows the male. Jimin seems to be in his own world that he doesn't even realize her existence near him.

Jimin walks through the forest silently, he knows that this time will come sooner or later. Jungkook will summon him to ask about his 'mission'. Jimin doesn't know what to do, he ought to serve Jungkook forever. Is lying a part of it?

Is he being selfish or reasonable?

Jimin halts his step upon reaching the end of the forest, there was a waterfall and a small pond in front of him. Jimin took a deep breath and he kneel down "You summon me, my lord." A figure surfaced from the water as Jimin looked down.

Jungkook pushed his wet hair to the back as he glance at Jimin with his red orbs. Jungkook looks away as he rests half of his body inside the water, only revealing the upper half of his naked body. "Where's Cassius?" He asked.

"He's sleeping." Jimin reply. "You've returned early, why don't you report to me right away?" Jungkook asks as he plays with the water a little. Still looking down, Jimin answered, "I don't want to bother you." Jungkook smiled upon hearing that.

"Did you ever bother me before?" Jimin just keeps silent as Jungkook chuckled "I'll let you off this time, Jimin, now tell me, did you find the bow?" Jungkook asked as he glance at Jimin. The male was silent for a few seconds before speaking up.

"No, I didn't."

Jungkook stares at Jimin with his red orbs as it glows a little. Jungkook looks away "How unfortunate." He said. there was a moment of silence between them when Jungkook suddenly speak up "Hyung."

Jimin lifts his gaze instantly upon hearing that. It had been 100 thousand years since the last time he heard that. Jungkook stares at those scars on his body that he got before he become the Demon Alpha.

"Remember that one time where we had an argument? You told me not to marry Lisa." Jungkook starts as he smiles sadly soon after "You know what? Call me stubborn, I don't regret not listening to your advice." He chuckles a little as Jimin just listen.

"I don't regret it because I could at least protect my loved one and stop my father's doing. If what happened, didn't happen, what would happen? If my father really succeeds in letting those Demons in, what's there left to protect?" Jungkook asks.

"And it same goes, for now, Hyung. You're angry at me when I told you to find the bow because you know, I want to end everything with it. I still stand with my decision, Hyung. No matter how many times, you tell me to rethink." Jungkook look at Jimin who had tears in his eyes.

"I won't regret this decision, because if I don't do this, this Demon inside me is getting impatient each day and I fear it caused more disaster when I lost control over it. If you help me Hyung, we could end everything." Tears slid down Jimin's cheek as Jungkook smiled at him.

"I could end my suffering."

Jimin cried his heart out as he heard Jungkook's words. Maybe, he had been selfish all this time. He wants Jungkook to live because he doesn't want to lose a person who had always been there for him. Even when he knows, how Jungkook is struggling.

Maybe, that's what he failed to see.

Rose watches everything from afar. She herself, doesn't know what had come to her but it hurts her hearing those words. She place her palm on her chest as she bit her bottom lips and ask herself. Is that the only way?

Lisa turn to her left, then to her right. She sigh in frustration as she sat up and glance at the clock. it had passed midnight, she can't sleep. Something is bothering her. Frustrated, Lisa decide to drink some water.

She walk down the stairs to went to the kitchen but her step halt upon seeing her father's workroom still light up. She frowns, wondering why her father is staying up. Curious, she decide to check on her father and she heard his voice talking to someone on the phone.

"Yes, we should proceed on killing The Demon Alpha." Lisa's breath hitched as she accidentally push the door, making unnecessary noise. Her father who heard the noise, turn around and widen her eyes upon seeing Lisa "Let's talk later."

He said through the phone before ending it. He turns towards Lisa "Lisa, why aren't you asleep yet?" He asks "What are you talking about just now? Killing the Demon Alpha?" She answers him with another question.

A sigh left her father "He's still a threat to us-" Lisa cut him off "NO! HE'S NOT! YOU KNOW IT!" She screams at him "He is! He is a threat!" Her father growls at her but she didn't back off "You were there when Jimin told us!" Lisa yell at him with tears in her eyes.

"You believe that creature?! He might be deceiving us!" He argues. "NO! HE'S NOT!" She talks back "How did you know?!" He roared at her "BECAUSE I KNEW HE WASN'T LYING!" She screamed at her father as he went silent upon seeing tears sliding down her cheek.

Lisa grit his teeth. Her heart is arching in pain and it's suffocating. Her father, slowly approaches her, trying to check on his daughter but Lisa slaps away his hand. Before he could say anything, she ran away to her room and slam the door harshly.

The Luna comes out from her shared bedroom upon hearing the noise, she glances at Lisa's room and then at her mate who sighs. The Luna pursed her lips and shake her head, not knowing what should they do as she whisper "May the gods have mercy on us."

Lisa hugged her knees close to her chest as she cried silently. She hates it. She hate it when everyone was talking about killing him. Why did the world always turn against him? Why did she turn against him in her past life?

Why did she make those mistakes? Why won't she believe her as he did? Why does it have to happen this way? She hide as she couldn't help but feel frustrated. She couldn't lie to herself anymore, not in this life.

She really loves him.

It's unfair but it was meant to be
