"You know what? Honestly, I never thought Kat deserved you anyways." Alma spoke as her and Ethan attempted Yoga in her backyard. "I mean, at first you guys were good, you know? And then, just out of no where, she made me want to shove her head in a toilet."

"I feel like you're just saying that to try and make me feel better." Ethan sighed, turning slightly with a huff at the new position.

"Not true. If anyone deserves you it's someone as perfect as Emma Watson or someone like that." Alma tucked here back in with a long inhale. "Is yoga soothing your soul yet?"

"The pain is making me distracted." he said back, following her tactic. "Where'd you hear about this?"

"Her Prison Pussy." Maddy walked from the back door, holding up a green smoothie. "Your grass smoothie."

"It's not a grass smoothie, it's a all natural detox." Alma got to her feet to take the glass. "And he isn't my prison pussy."

"Sorry, what's a prison pussy?" Ethan looked over oddly.

"Whoever he is, he's turning Alma into a hippy." Maddy sat down on the chair, rubbing sun tan lotion onto herself. "When are you gonna start yelling about the planet and taking spiders outside instead of killing them?"

Ethan looked over in disbelief. "Is that why you did it last night?"

"It keeps me away from drugs!" Alma announced with a shrug, sipping her green drink. "You want some?"

"No." they said on sync.

"I gotta head to the theater anyways." Ethan got off his yoga mat, popping his shoulder. "Lexi needs early rehearsals."

"Want me to drive you?" Alma asked as he walked over.

"No, Mals gonna bring me." he headed over. "I'll see you at the play?"

"Yup." Alma hummed, leaning over for a kiss to the cheek as he hurried through her house.

"You know what the two of you remind me of?" Maddy pulled her glasses off with a questionable look up to her. "Like a married couple that genuinely really are happy in their marriage but wants everyone to believe they aren't so it doesn't seem like they're rubbing it in your face."

Alma rose her eyebrows, walking toward her mat again. "I don't know, I feel like, if I was to get married, i'd definitely shove it in everyone's faces."

"That's my girl." Maddy laughed slightly as Alma pushed up on her hands. "So, Kat and Ethan are totally split up."

"Yeah, in the worst way possible." Alma rolled her eyes, getting her feet over her head. "No offense, but your friend is so shitty."

"I saw it coming." Maddy said honestly. "I mean, Kat always knew he had a thing for you."

Almas hands gave out, hitting the mat face first. Maddy gave a snort as Alma held her face. "He does not."

"Oh my god, don't even try to deny it right now. Literally everyone knows the two of you are gonna get together." Maddy rolled her eyes as Alma sat on the mat. "You should be so happy. He's so good to you."

Alma didn't know if she could even argue with her, because she knew Ethan was so perfect. "He's my best friend, Maddy. Imagine if we broke up."

"Yeah right, why would you break up?" Maddy looked at her in disbelief. "Kat broke up with Ethan because she is bored and wants something more. You don't want more. You're not like her."

"I'd never break up with Ethan. I'm not a idiot." Alma stretched her legs out infront of her. "He'd definitely dump me."

"What? Why would he ever dump you?" she laughed at her in disbelief. "Especially with your whole hippy thing going on."

"I don't know, I feel like people don't look at me and see relationship material." Alma shook her head with a insecure look. "I don't know, it just doesn't seem like people like me like that."

Maddy laughed, sitting up more. "Not with that attitude. If someone else is gonna love you, you've gotta love yourself. You have to be so obsessed with yourself that when you look in the mirror you wanna fuck yourself. You ever felt that way before?"

Alma shrugged, shyly shaking her head. Maddy stood up, holding her hand out. "Come on. I know what you need."

Faye opened the door when she heard the knock, staring at Alma. Her cheeks and nose was highlighted nicely, her hair burgundy today, eyelids coated in red with a few rhinestones around her eyes, two on the ends of one eyelash so when she blinks, they fluttered. Faye rose her eyebrows. "Hi."

"Ash or Fez here?" Alma said back, nodding her head.

"Aye, who's at the door." Fez called, looking down the hallway. "Oh, it's Alma Darling."

Faye let her in, Alma looked around slightly weary. It's not like they had drugs just laid out on the counter or anything, but she knew that when she did show up here, it was always to get drugs. Now, after being a week clean, she felt a lot better. But, walking in here was a lot on her. "Fez, where's your pants?"

"Shoot, in my room." he laughed, walking her way. "I heard you got clean, man."

"A week." she smiled, looking around. "I was just hoping to talk to Ash before the play."

"Oh, i'm going too." he gave a shy look. "You think I look...handsome?"

"Aw, yeah." Alma grinned, brushing off his shoulders.

"You think other people will think I look handsome too?" he gave a shy smile.

Alma grinned, nodding her head. "Definitely."

"Coo." he nodded, looking down. "Ash is probably on tha computer."

Alma walked down the little hallway, peaking behind one of the doors. "Ash."

He looked back, blinked in disbelief. "Nah."

"What?" she laughed, walking in.

"Nah, you don't get to be here." he shook his head, attention to make her leave. But, between Alma already being tall for a girl, and her heels, her towering over him stopped him. "I ain't sellin to you."

"I'm not here for that." she took his spot at the computer chair, looking his way. "So..."

"So.." he trailed off with a questionable look.

"So, how'd you know?" Alma gave a questionable look. Ash shrugged. "Don't just shrug at me. If someone told you, I deserve to know. It's not anyone story but mine."

"Ion know, some dude with some face tats." Ash shook his head. "Said they had the same name."

"Elliot told you about the other Elliot?" Alma looked in disbelief, blinking. "Why the hell would he do that?"

"He didn't tell me, well, he didn't say your name." he explained, getting another questionable look. "That assface was on the tv and he was all 'That guy messed with my friend' and then when it got out what he did, on that account, I just pieced two and two together and figured out it was you behind the account."

"How'd you know it was me?" Alma gave an odd look.

"I saw you hanging around the cotton top dude. You and Jewl and Rue are his only friends." Ashtray said back causally. "So, after scrolling through that badass account, I realize you're the only one, out of the three of you, that isn't on there."

Alma exhaled, almost laughing. "You should be in school if you're that smart."

"Come on, I learned it from you." he said in return, grabbing the gold fish bag on the dresser. "Remember when you were here and was going crazy over not being able to find some chicks real name. So, you deep dived."

"I do not." Alma shook her head. She stared at him seriously. "Is he....is he dead?"

Ashtray nodded his head. "Yeah."

Alma nodded slowly. "You know, you didn't have to do that."

"Ain't no one gonna mess with you. You're my friend." Ash said back with a weird look. "You gonna stop hanging around now that you're all sober and on your hippy crap?"

Alma smiled. "Are you kidding me? Who else is gonna make sure you eat healthy meals everyday?"

He rolled hie eyes. "Wish you'd stay away now."

"Yeah right." Alma walked over to him. "Next time I come to visit i'm gonna bring you my old text books and i'll home school you."

"Shoot, I don't need school." he waved her off, falling back into his chair. "You going to that play thing too?"

"Yeah, my friends in it." Alma leaned on the doorway. "You wanna come with me?"

"To a play?" Ashtray gave her an offended look.

"It will be cool." she snorted at his face. "Maybe it'll convince you to want to go to school."

"You have fun, looking like a cherry popsicle." he mocked her red outfit, red hair, and red makeup. "I'm good here."

Alma hesitated, because walking away seemed wrong. "Come on, it'll be fun. You can meet my friends."

"Absolutely not." he answered, going back to typing on his computer.

"Okay." Alma explained, walking over to him. "Ash."

He looked up at her. Alma nodded her head. "Thank you for protecting me, little dude."

"You got it." he held his fist out, letting her knock it before planting a kiss to the top of his head. "See you when?"

Alma grinned as she headed for the door. "Tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow it is." he gave a thumbs up, looking back to his computer as Alma walked toward the door. She felt weird, felt like she needed to stay, needed to take him with her. But she didn't say anything, she didn't think too far into it. Calling out a goodbye to Fez, Alma gave a little wave to Faye before opening the door.

Maddy was waiting in the car for her, Alma headed over as she accidentally bumped shoulders with someone. "Oh, sorry."

"Don't worry bout it." he said back, rubbing his nose and heading toward the door.
