Sarah was carrying Robin out of his house.

"Before they get here-" Bruce turned around to look at Vance in the back. "-what do you think caused this?"

Vance inhaled as he looked at how Robins back was to Sarah's front, her arms secured tightly around his waist as his legs bounced onto hers within each step she took. "I have no fucking idea."

"Oh, you've got the baby." Mr.Yamada greeted them as Sarah opened the door. "Hi, Robin."

"Hey." he said back as Sarah tossed him into the car before she got in with a violent huff. Vance grinned as he reached over Robins head to pull the piece of curls that managed to get to the wrong side of her head.

"So-" Bruce popped his gum as he blinked at the two. "-what was that about?"

"He refused to leave until I threw up at one of the kills in the movie he was watching." Sarah huffed as she buckled her seat belt. "We obviously don't have time, so I carried him."

"Smart plan." Vance hummed. "She was scared."

"She was absolutely scared." Robin agreed.

"I was not scared." she rolled her eyes at the two of them.

"I was scared and I wasn't even there." Mr.Yamada drive down the road. "Are we picking up anyone else?"

"And do what?" Sarah gave a snort. "Tie them to the top of the car?"

"Like a Christmas tree." Bruce smiled.

"Who ties trees to the top of the car?" Vance frowned his eyebrows together. "That's dumb."

"How else would you get it home? Carry it?" Sarah leaned past Robin to give a questionable look. "I'd love to see you try."

"She'd loveeee to see you try." Bruce teased with a laugh as Sarah leaned forward and yanked his ear lob, Vance only sent her a wink when she retreated into her seat.

"Hey, Mr.Yamada, can we listen to some music?" Robin asked from the middle of the flirty pair, one of his knees touching both their legs due to how close they all were in the car.

"Oh, sure. Let's just play some hip tunes." he messed with the radio as static played a moment, pausing on the perfect balance.

And whatever happened, to Tuesday and so slow?

"Going down the old mine with a transistor radio." Mr.Yamada hummed as he tapped his steering wheel.

"Standing in the sunset laughing!" Bruce yelled loudly, scaring each of them. He spun back and held a fake microphone toward Sarah.ย  "Hiding 'hind a rainbow's wall."

Robin grabbed his wrist to pull the fake mic his way when Sarah shook her head in embarrassment. "Slipping and sliding all along the waterfall with you."

"Oh my god." Vance squeezed the bridge of his nose. "Sheeps, can you believe these-"

"My brown-eyed girl!" Sarah yelled into the fake mic as the boys cheered for her. "You, my brown eyed girl!"

"Do you remember when we use to sing?" Mr.Yamada called out, waving his finger for the trio to finish the rest.

"Sha-la-la, la-la, la-la, la-la, la-la tee-da"

"Just like that!"

"Sha-la-la, la-la, la-la, la-la, la-la tee-da."

"So hard to find my way." Sarah shoved Robin back as she held her fake mic toward Vance, he death stared her way. "Now that i'm all on my own."

"Get it out of my face." he demanded her.

"I saw you just the other day." she used her hands to grasp the sides of his head and pull him in more as she sung at her absolutely worst. "My, how you've grown!"

"Cast my memory back there, Lord!" Bruce clapped his hands to the beat of the song.

"Come on, Vance." Sarah pulled him a little harder to give him a kiss. One he immediately pulled away from due to the amount of people, shoving her head back. "You know you wanna!"

"My brown eyed girl!" the car sung, Sarah gave Vance a pretty smile as he pretended not to enjoy it. "You, my brown eyed girl!"

"Sha-la-la, la-la, la-la, la-la, la-la tee-da!"

"My uncle can make the best pizza. He really can." Robin spoke when they finally made it to Aspen, four hours, two naps, ten songs, and three bathroom stops later. "He would put this place out of business."

"But, it's so good!" Bruce tried to put two pieces in his mouth. They'd stopped at a small pizza place before heading to the hotel, one Bruce swore he'd seen somewhere before and had to go to.

"Robin, does your uncle just do everything?" Sarah laughed as she set her pizza down. "First the drive in-"

"Oh, yeah. He's the coolest." he agreed, nodding his head. "He said that he's gonna get you in for free at the drive-in for your birthday."

"Her birthdays not until January." Vance gave a questionable look from how he was shoved against the booth, Sarah pushed up against him with Robin on her other side.

"What?" Robin gapped at Sarah. "Who's birthdays in July?"

"Gwen's birthdays in July." she hummed.

"Oh, Gwen." he smacked his forehead. "I got you guys confused."

"She'll like the drive-in party." Mr.Yamada nodded his head. "Vance, when is your birthday?"

He rose his eyebrows as they all turned their head his way. "August 10th."

"Aw, my wife is an August baby too." he hummed. "Bruce is in June. You guys are only two months apart."

His attempt at bonding them made the four at the table hold back laughs. "What? What's so funny?"

"Sarah and I are a month apart." Robin cleared his throat. "Plus two years."

"See." Mr.Yamada smiled. "Birthdays will bond you."

"Finney and I have the same birthday." Sarah cleared her throat as well. "Billy and Bingo have the same birthday."

"How do you know the day Bingo was born?" Bruce gapped. "How old is he?"

"Seven." Sarah nodded. "Billy was there. He was the baby of his grandmas dog."

"Aw, that's such a sweet story, Sarah." Mr.Yamada smiled. Vance pulled his hand away from Sarah's under the table before giving it back, letting her lock their hands together and hold them in her lap. "See, birthdays do bond us!"

"Something to do with the stars." Sarah shrugged her shoulders. "I heard some girls talking about it in the bathrooms at school."

Bruce caught Vance's eye, seeing the look he was giving them, trying to get them to leave. Bruce caught on. "Let's go get another pizza for the road. Robin, come help me. Dad, you've gotta pay."

"Obviously, non of you have jobs." he scoffed and stood up, following Bruce. Robin pointed to his own eyes then back at Vance and Sarah in the booth.

"Sheeps." Vance scooted closer to her. "I wanna go home."

"Why?" she turned her head to give him a worried look. "What happened?"

"I just wanna go home." he said in return. "I don't wanna go see your fancy people school. Who cares about it?"

Sarah bite the inside of her mouth. "Well, Vance, we're already here. If you really wanna go home, maybe we can get the tour a little earlier."

"No, I don't want to go to the school at all." he protested, his hand squeezed hers like he was trying to hurt her, but was actually holding on tighter so she wouldn't leave him. "You don't wanna go either."

"I don't?" Sarah had to laugh. "You sure?"

He made sure the trio at the register weren't looking, giving a faint disgusted look before leaning in and placing a hesitant kiss on the side of her head. Sarah grinned and leaned into him a little more. "Just admit you're already starting to miss me."

"I'm not. I'll be happy when you go." he lied to her with a wild look. "But, if you don't like it then you'll never go. So, obviously if I stop you from seeing it, you'll go for sure."

"Awww." Sarah grabbed his face and kissed his forehead multiple times until he physically shoved her face away. "I'm gonna miss you too."

"You can't hear." he rolled his eyes, moving his arm for Sarah to lay her head on his shoulder. "I want you to go."

"Mhm." she smiled after getting comfortable. "I'm gonna miss you too."

She really would.
