THE MIYAGI-DO STUDENTS are warming up as they wait for Daniel to get there, Robby was striking the punching bag while Mason holds it. Sawyer and Sam were stretching on the wooden deck. "Maybe we should record a video of us sparring and post it on Instagram." Robby suggests, "Everybody already saw us at Valley Fest. They didn't care." Sam states, Robby sighs.

"You know what the problem is? Miyagi-Do is all about defense." Mason speaks up, "Defense wins championships." Sawyer states, "Yeah, but people show up for the offense. That's why Cobra Kai is more popular. They don't know that we can fight too." He continues. "So, what exactly are we supposed to do?" Sam asks, looking between the two boys. "Go to the mall and pick a fight? Record us defending ourselves?"

"It's not the worst idea." Robby says, shrugging his shoulders. "That's a terrible idea." Sawyer scoffs, rolling her eyes.

——

TORY, JUNE, AND WYATT get ready and then head over to dojo to join. They walk in with a few other people who were also looking to join, all of the current students we're wearing white gi's and either stretching or talking amongst each other.

They all stand up as the older man from Valley Fest walked out, "Listen up! I see we've got some new recruits. Everybody, fall in. In neat rows and lines." He tells the class. Everybody gets in their lines, with Tory, June and Wyatt all in the back unnoticed.

"Time to see what your made of." He walks through the lines looking at everybody, "Sorry, parents can't stay for class. It's an insurance thing." He states, walking over to a grown man who was here for some reason.

"I'm not a dad. I am here to kick some ass, sir!" The dude says, raising his voice towards the end. June and Wyatt just look at each other weirdly. "이 사람은 바보야  (This guys an idiot) June mutters in Korean. Wyatt tries to hold in a laugh.

"Look, you're a little old. This is a class for teenagers." The sensei states. "Well, I... I can take them." The guy chuckles. "I'm not afraid of kids, sir. And my mom, she doesn't charge rent, so I just... I gotta lot of cash to burn." He continues, pulling out a 20 dollar bill and handing it to him.

"바보  (dumbass) Wyatt whispers, making June and Tory smile. The two had taught Tory some Korean in return as she taught them more English, she of course wanted to know all of the Korean curse words.

"I thought my last group of recruits was pathetic. If you do what I tell you to do you'll at least have a chance of becoming a fighter. But to do that, you gotta fight. So, which one of you has the balls to take on the champ?" Sensei Lawrence explains, everybody is quiet as he looks around for anybody.

Tory suddenly speaks up, "I'll take him on."

Everybody looks back towards the three, "Oh, you will, huh?" He asks.

"We saw your little demo at Valley Fest. You guys can put on a show. Can you actually fight?" Tory states. "That sounds like a challenge."

    "I like a challenge."

He just turns around and walks back to the front. "Mr. Diaz, show Little Miss Hotshot and her friends here what Cobra Kai is all about."

Everybody moves off the mat as Miguel and Tory walk to the middle. "Look, are you sure that you wanna do—" He starts, but Tory kicks him straight in the chest, he stumbles back. "All right. Game on."

Tory throws punches towards him, but he dodged them. She goes to try and kick him in the side, but is taken down. Miguel let's go as she stands back up.

She tries to throw more punches at him, he dodged once again. June and Wyatt can tell that she's starting to get angry at him. "You're telegraphing."

He's able to kick her to the floor but she tackles him and rolls to stand up.

    "Did you see that coming?"

He then wraps his leg around hers, taking her down with him. "Maybe." He states, standing back up and holding a hand out for her.

    "My names Miguel."

"Tory." She says before taking his hand and flipping him over her shoulder, pulling his arm back and putting her hand on his head to keep him down. "With a Y."

Some of the students cheer for her, "Nice one, Tory." Wyatt cheers.

"Alright. Not bad." Sensei Lawrence says, as Tory and Miguel walk back over to the sides. "Walk it off, Diaz. Anyone else wanna fight?"

Johnny looks around the room as it goes quiet again. Lawrence looks over to Kreese who the motions his head over to June who was congratulating Tory on her beating Miguel.

The three look over to Johnny and Kreese to see them looking straight at June. "You." Johnny says, he looks around the room his eyes landing in a certain blue mohawk.

    "Hawk."

June and Hawk walk over to the middle of the mat. Hawk runs forward to kick her side, but June just steps out the way avoiding him.

He tries charging her again but she just dodged him again, which made him angry.

Kreese's small smirk on his face slowly faded as her dodging Hawks attacks reminded him of his fight against Mr. Miyagi back in the 80s.

He still thought about that fight even now, thirty years later. He knew in that moment that she was a smart fighter.

Hawk groans, "Are you gonna fight me or not?"

June just shrugs her shoulders, as he tries to attack her again, but this time she sticks her leg out and trips him. He stumbles, and June uses it as her opportunity to attack him.

She grabs his arm and puts her back against his, before flipping him over her shoulder. Hawk lands face first, she pulls his arm back as she then puts her knee on his shoulder blades, he groans at the pain.

June decides to then grab his mohawk and pulls his head slightly backwards. "항문." (asshole) June mutters, she gets up and walks back over to Wyatt and Tory. They both give her a fist bumb.

Hawk groans slowly standing up. "C'mon Hawk. It wasn't that bad. You just got your ass-kicked." Johnny states, in slight shock at how well the two girls fought.

——

AFTER PRACTICE, the twins and Tory go to the mini mart next door to get some drinks. Aisha is walking down one of the aisles, she looks down at her phone and groans. Tory and June walk past her, "Let me guess. Dick pic?" Tory questions.

Aisha and June chuckle, "No." Aisha sighs. "My mom wants me to go to the beach club with her."

"Oh my god. That sounds so miserable." June exaggerates, grabbing two gatorades handing one to Wyatt. "No. It's just... These girls Sam and Sawyer are probably gonna be there, and we are not on good terms. Whatever. I'm Aisha, by the way." She explains.

"Tory. And this is June and Wyatt." Tory states, gesturing to the twins. "Hey, I like you're bracelets."

"Oh this. Its not just for show. Some guy and the mall tried to grab me once, but I managed to block him and give him a gift he won't ever forget." Tory explained, "One night somebody was following me home, so when he got close." June grabs her bracelet and unhooks it to reveal a small knife on the end of it. "I just did one swipe, and he was on the ground when I left." June continues.

"Okay, now you guys sound scary. Tone it down maybe." Wyatt suggests, Tory chuckles at him. "Oh wow. You guys seem like you already know how to kick ass pretty well. What do you need Cobra Kai for?" Aisha asks, looking between the three.

"We took some kickboxing lessons awhile back. But smashing boards blindfolded is pretty badass." Wyatt says, smiling. Aisha chuckles, "Oh, you saw that. The secret is poking little holes in the blindfolds."

Tory nods, "Cool." The three walk past her but is stopped, "Hey. You guys wouldn't wanna go to the beach with me, would you? I'd be nice to have some backup." Aisha questions, "I guess I could suffer a day at the beach." June states, shrugging her shoulders.

"Cool. So meet back here in 20 minutes?" Aisha asks, that three all nod before paying for their drinks and heading back home.

——

DANIEL HAD GOTTEN one of the cars at the dojo up and running and decided to take that kids to the beach to try and get more students. "How is the beach supposed to get us new students?" Mason questions, while on the road. "It's not the students I'm after. It's the parents." Daniel answers.

"So, you're counting on kids listening to their parents?" Sam questions, looking over to her dad. "No, I'm counting on parents doing whatever it takes to protect their kids. Look, I've tried everything else to promote Miyagi-Do. If this doesn't work... nothing will." Daniel explains.

"See, what did I tell you? It's always packed here on saturday." Daniel remarks, as they pull up to the beach club. After getting out of the car Mason and Robby look a little unease. Sawyer notices, "You all right?" She asks looking over at the two. "Yeah, we just... uh kind of used to work here." Robby answers, "Really? When?" Sam questions, as the four walk towards the entrance. "Just a couple days last summer." Mason answers, blankly.

"This is not the beach. Where's all of the drugged out homeless dudes." June remarks, the four walked out onto a balcony that overlooked a giant pool. "And the guys shoving shitty hip-hop demos in your face?" Wyatt questions.

Aisha chuckles, "No, don't worry. They'll come after they pass out the hors d'oeuvres."

Sawyer, Sam, Robby and Mason were laying on some pool chairs. Sam looked up to see Aisha with two girls and one guy standing in the balcony. Sawyer notices her gaze and looks up to them, she get slightly jealous for Aisha bringing other new friends to the beach, until her gaze lingers over to the guy that was with the three girls. He had what looked to be dyed dirty blonde hair. He seems to notice her gaze and looks down at her, a small smirk forms on his face before they walk away.

Sawyer puts her head down to hide her slight blush, not even noticing that Sam had left to go talk to Aisha.

Aisha said she was going to get some food, Tory and the twins went off to go look around. "We should take some of their booze." Tory suggests, "It's not like they'll notice if one bottle goes missing." June and Wyatt nod at the girl before sneaking over to the bar. Tory and Wyatt cover as June goes behind the bar and grabs a bottle of vodka and then puts it in Tory's bag.

They laugh triumphantly as their plan worked out. They then go back to find Aisha and two other girls were talking at a table. Wyatt notices that one of the girls sitting there is the same one he saw earlier. "Hey. Look what we got." Tory says, showing them the bottle in there bag.

"Where did you get that?" Aisha questions, "June swiped it from the bar." Wyatt states, his arm resting on her shoulder.

The girls' faces look kind on concerned but surprised that they stole it. "Oh, relax. All of the adults are all drunk. No one's gonna notice if we are too." June says, "You should put that back. You'll get into big trouble." One of the girls there said, they wondered who she was.

"And you are." Tory questions. "Oh, Sam, Sawyer. This is Tory, June and Wyatt." Aisha introduces them. "Oh, the Sam and Sawyer." June mutters.

Tory scoffs, "Come on. Like anyone's gonna miss one bottle of vodka."

"We could swipe half of the silverware in their place before anyone would notice." June states. "You shouldn't steal anything." Sam says. "What are you, a nun? Come on, are we gonna drink or not?" Tory asks, turning towards Aisha. The girl hesitates before nodding, "Okay, one drink."

ROBBY AND MASON were sitting in the pool chairs until one of the country club workers walked up the them. "I knew it was you guys." He spat, surprising the two boys.

"What did I say would happen if you ever stepped foot in here again? I'm calling the cops." He states, pulling out his phone.

Robby and Mason look at each other, not really knowing what to do. "Um, what's going on here?" Amanda questions, walking towards the scene.

"Nothing to worry about, Mrs. LaRusso. Just... removing these delinquents from the property." He says, politely. "We'll, these delinquents happens to be our guests." Amanda spoke, calmly.

"Ma'am, I don't think you understand." He tried to reason. "No, I don't think you understand. Robby and Mason are our guests. Period." Amanda explains, "Uh... my mistake." The man says before walking away.

"What was that about?" Amanda asks, sitting down on one of the chairs. "Before we met you guys, we were deferent people. Had some bad friends, and did some stuff here that we regret." Mason explains, "Did you hurt anybody?" Amanda questions.

"No, no, no. Nothing like that. But that guys right. Maybe we should go." Robby answers, quickly. "No, hey, look. We all make mistakes. It's what we do next that counts, right?" Amanda says, before walking away.

—-

THE LARUSSO'S WERE getting their stuff together to leave. "I'm sorry about Aisha." Robby consoles the girls, "She can be friends with whoever she wants." Sam grumbles, Amanda comes up to the teens digging through her bag. "Hey, have either of you seen my wallet?"

Robby and Mason are immediately suspicious of her wallet being missing. "Wait , you're missing your wallet?" Robby questions, "It's gotta be around here somewhere. Can you just spread out?" Amanda says, still digging in her bag.

Robby and Mason both nod at the other. "We'll check the beach. Maybe someone turned it into the lifeguard." Mason says, him and Robby already knowing where the wallets are.

Sam and Sawyer both look at each other knowing who might just have their mom's wallet.

After a couple drinks Tory, June, Wyatt, and Aisha go to leave, "So you gave her a front wedgie?" Tory questions, "I split that bitch in two." Aisha states, "Oh my god." June laughs.

"Hey!" Sam calls out from behind them, the four turn around still laughing. "My mom is missing her wallet." Sam states, "That sounds like a you problem." June says, chuckling. "You wouldn't know anything about that." Sawyer asks, trying to get something out of them.

"Wait. Wait, what are you saying?" Aisha questions, "Just give me the wallet and I won't tell security." Sam says harshly. "Are you freaking kidding me?" Wyatt questions, "Guys, they didn't steal your moms wallet."

"Right. And they didn't steal a bottle of vodka, and you wouldn't steal half the silverware in here." Sawyer states, turning towards June. "I didn't rob your mom, 암캐." (bitch) June states in a low tone. "Let's just go."

As June starts to turn away, Sam tries to grab June's arm but is shoved back by Tory. "Get off of her." Tory spat.

Sam falls backwards into a food table, and ends up covered in frosting and chocolate. June, Tory, and Wyatt storm off.

——

ROBBY AND MASON go down to the beach and Mason feels underneath the stairs, a bunch of people wallets. They then hear the voices of their old friends. Robby quickly sets up his phone to record, knowing that a fight was going to break out.

The two guys walk over and notice their former friends. "This guy here man." Trey scoffs. "Same shit. Different summer." Robby states, "What you guys doing here?" Trey questions, "Found your stash. You're gonna give it all back." Mason states, firmly.

The two guys laugh, "The hell we are." Cruz remarks. "You guys didn't learn your lesson last time? It's cool. We can give you a refresher course." Trey taunts, both Mason and Robby get into their fighting stances. "Bring it."

The two are suddenly both hit in the head with paddles. The criminals laugh, "What, you forgot that this was a four-man job?" Trey states. Mason abs Robby sit on the ground holding their heads. The two guys that hit them both pull them up and put them in a chokehold. "Man, I thought you guys were smart. You sure do learn slow." Trey said, Cruz walks closer to the boys. "Maybe we need to leaves something to remember us by." He pulls out a small knife.

Daniel suddenly jumps down putting his hand in a fighting stance. "Let them go." He states, breathless. "Don't listen to him." Trey tells the two guys holding Robby and Mason.

"Alright grandpa. Let's do it."

Trey throws a punch towards Daniel but her dodged and kicks him in the side. Cruz runs towards him but Daniel grabs his arm and slams him into the wooden beam.

He kicks Trey in the stomach, and then flips Cruz over his shoulder. Daniel then kicks Trey in the stomach again, knocking him down.

The guys holding Robby and Mason throw them to the ground, walk towards Daniel. He just gets a few punches in the guys' stomachs, before kicking one in the face and sweeping the other ones legs. "Your grandpa know how to move like that, huh? Come on, let's go." Daniel says to the two boys still holding their heads.

THE NEXT DAY at Cobra Kai, Sensei Lawerence was explaining different moves. "The back thrust kick works like this. You step, pivot, and throw a side kick." He explains, demonstrating the move. "What if you opponent attacks you from behind?" Hawk asks, "Excellent question." He looks over to Kreese. "Sensei Kreese, you wanna take this one?"

The whole class is slightly confused by the man being called sensei, but brushes it off. "Certainly, Sensei Lawrence. The key to this move is making your enemy think you are retreating. But just as they let their guard down that's when you strike the hardest." Sensei Kreese explains, as a small smirk forms on June's face.
