- Pilot

𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗗 spent the last two months in a prison cell, she was arrested because she wanted to help her father who had come down with a fever and none of the doctor's would help so she took it into her own hands only she had gotten caught and was arrested for stealing.

From the day she was born, Amelia was special just like her mother Andrea had told her as she wasn't like other teenage girls, just like her mother she had black blood which was strange and because they were different they had to hide it from the ark and the people who knew about it was the Griffin's.

At the age of 13, Amelia spent most of her time training with her mother learning how to protect herself she never really understood why it was so important to her mother and only recently did she understand why it was so that she was ready and that no matter what situation she is in she could protect herself especially from others that wished to harm her.

Amelia was someone that everybody knew as she kind, beautiful and extremely loyal to those close to her as she would do anything to protect her friends and family it often leaves those envious and jealous of the dark haired teen as she's like this breathe of fresh air that when she walks into the room it just lights up whenever she smiles.

Clarke Griffin and Amelia Carter have known one another since they were toddles and were always around one another especially because their mothers was best friends. The two girls were inseparable and always there for one another whenever they needed each other especially after the brunette's father died.

Clarke was her rock and there isn't anybody else she would trust with her life but a couple of months ago when Clarke father died she started acting out and was revengeful and not long after she was suddenly arrested and Abby never told Amelia the reason why.

Suddenly, the door opened causing Amelia to snap out of her thoughts as she turned around with an confused frown on her face when two guards walked into the room and called out, " Prisoner 217, face the wall!" Amelia rolled her eyes as she stood up from her bed walking across the room facing the wall and curiously questioned the two men, " what's going on? What's happening?"

"Quiet! Hold out your right arm" one of the guards demanded causing the brunette to glance over her shoulder watching as one of them took out a wristband causing her eyes to widened in horror trying to hide how terrified she was as she shook her head frantically, " No! It's not my time yet. I don't turn 18 until a couple more months"

The two guards ignored the dark haired beauty as they turned to face her and ordered Amelia once again, " Hold out your arm!" The brunette clenched her jaw narrowing her eyes at the two men suspiciously as they reached out to grab her only she kneed one of them in the privates causing him to fall to the ground groaning loudly in pain.

Amelia turned her attention to the other guy head butting him before punching him in the face as she slammed him into the wall before rushing out of the room closing the door behind her before turning around as she looked around her surroundings with a look of confusion and shock seeing teenagers being escorted out of their cells by guards.

"Prisoner 319!" Another guard called out walking out of another cell once he caught sight of the brunette causing her fighting instincts to kick in as she grabbed his arm pushing him away from her before head butting him and pushing him to the floor as she turned on her heel running through the corridor to escape the guards.

Amelia took a deep breathe as she thought back to everything that her mother had taught her when they used to spar with one another before she ran up to a couple of guards, kicking the first one she encountered in the stomach knocking him to the ground. Jumping up slightly, Amelia kicked the second man down before slamming his head against the wall knocking him out.

The third man suddenly appeared in front of her with a taser in his hand, walking towards her but before he could attack her, Amelia grabbed the taser before twisting her body around and embedded it into the mans neck causing him to violently shake before falling to the ground with a thud as she continued to run down the corridor.

However, she didn't manage to get very far when a fourth man appeared in front of her holding a same taser causing Amelia to groan in annoyance as he wanted to take her out, not giving him the chance, she dodged him before swinging her body forward wrapping her legs around his neck holding onto the bar above her flipping her body backwards causing him to fall to the ground unconscious.

"Lia! Stop!" Andrea called out to her daughter pushing her through the guards with an impressed look on her face at the multiple unconscious guards that were currently passed out on the ground pulling her daughter into a tight hug. " Mom! What the hell is going on? They're killing us all, aren't they?" Amelia questioned pulling away from her mother's embrace, " reducing population to make more time for the rest of you"

Andrea shook her head frantically taking ahold of her daughters hands as she opened her mouth to respond but was cut off by a familiar voice, " Lia!" Octavia called out pushing the guard away from her as she rushed over to the two girls pulling Amelia into a tight hug and curiously questioned, " what's happening?"

"Amelia, Octavia, you are not being executed. They're sending you to the ground, all one hundred of you" Andrea explained with a small sigh taking her daughters hands once again in attempt to calm her down causing Octavia and Amelia to exchange and confused look as they both spoke in simultaneously, " What?"

"The rules have changed. This gives you all a chance to live. Amelia, trust your instincts, it's what you've been trained for all your life. You're ready, just be careful I've lost your father and I can't lose you too. I love you, so much" Andrea spoke with a saddened smile on her lips taking in her daughters features before she swiftly grabbed the syringe from her pocket and impaled it into her neck.

Amelia gasped as she fell into her mother's arms who slowly lowered them to the floor, " Lia!" Octavia yelled out in shock as she was grabbed by two guards who began leading her towards the drop ship causing her to fight against them as she glanced over her shoulder at her friend with an concerned and worried look on her face until the guards dragged her around the corner.

A little while later, Amelia awoke with a groan with a killer migraine after she had gotten drugged by her mother. She winced turning over as her eyes slowly fluttered opened with an confused frown on her face as looked around hearing the teenagers chatter among themselves all strapped in tightly in their seats.

"Hey, looks like sleeping beauty awakes" an unfamiliar voice called out causing Amelia to turn her head noticing a guy sitting next to her wearing a pair of goggles on top of his head, " are you alright? I'm Jasper by the way" the brunette smiled warmly as she let out a heavy sigh and replied, " I'm Amelia, but you can just call me Lia."

Jasper grinned brightly at the beautiful brunette before turning his attention to the Asian boy sitting next to him and introduced him, " This is my friend, Monty." The Asian boy shook his head in amusement at his friends enthusiasm sending a nod of acknowledgment to the brunette and spoke, " Nice to meet you. Do you have any idea what's going on?" He curiously questioned.

"Yeah, they're sending us to earth" Amelia stated as she looked between the two boys watching as their eyes widened in surprise exchanging a look before turning their attention back to the Carter girl, " Wait, what?" Monty spoke firmly at the same time Jasper said, "seriously!"

Amelia nodded her head in confirmation as she opened her mouth ready to respond only she was interrupted when Jaha suddenly appeared on the screens in the drop ship, " Prisoners of the ark, hear me now. You've been given a second chance and as your chancellor, it is my hope that you see this as not just a chance for you but a chance for all of us - indeed for mankind itself."

"We have no idea what is waiting for you down there. If the odds of survival were better we would have sent others. Frankly, we're sending you, because your crimes have made you expendable. If, however you do survive" Jaha continued speaking causing Amelia to roll her eyes in annoyance turning her attention to Wells as she called out, " Your dad's a dick, Wells!"

Jasper and Monty chuckled at the girls comment with a couple of others delinquents as both Clarke and Wells both turned their attention to the brunette who was on the other side of the drop ship causing the blonde to send a small smile to Amelia as Jaha voice continued echoing throughout the drop ship, " then those crimes will be forgiven. Your records wiped clean. The drop site has been chosen carefully. Before the last war, mount weather was a military base built within a mountain. It was to be stocked with enough non- perishables to sustain 300 people for up to two years. No one ever made it there..."

Amelia frowned hearing a couple of people cheering causing her to turn her attention away from the screen and towards Finn who wearing a beanie hat. She recalled someone talking about him being arrested for doing an illegal spacewalk causing a beaming smile to appear on her face at the sight of him.

"Spacewalker bandit strikes again" Jasper called out with a grin causing a couple of the delinquents to cheer loudly as he was about to instal himself from his seat only for Amelia's eyes to widened as she stopped him slapping his hand away sending him a warning look when suddenly Clarke called out to two boys who were following after Finn floating around the drop ship, " Hey, you two! Stay put if you want to live!"

Suddenly, the parachute deployed causing the drop ship to jolt causing Finn and the two boys to go flying into the wall with sparks enlighten as Jasper sighed in relief with a grateful look on his face as he muttered a quiet thank you to the brunette who stopped him from following after Finn.

The drop ship began shaking frantically as all the teenagers began freaking out when suddenly everything came to a stop causing everyone to stay silent for a couple of moments when Monty spoke up looking around the drop ship, " Listen, No machine hum." Jasper nodded his head in agreement with a look of amazement and muttered, " Whoa! That's the first"

All the seatbelts un-clicked in simultaneously which made Amelia quickly to remove the seatbelt of her body as she rushed towards Finn with an concerned expression on her face and questioned, " Finn! Oh, my god. Are you alright?" The dark haired boy eyes widened at the sight of her as he wrapped her into a tight hug sighing in relief and muttered, " Lia, what are you doing here? I've missed you"

"I've missed you too, spacewalker" Amelia replied with a grin as she pulled away from Finn turning her head causing her smile to drop at the sight of the two boys that copied Finn were now on the floor dead. " are they breathing?" Clarke questioned as she rushed over towards the two causing Finn to shake his head looking down at the ground with a guilty look on his face.

"The outer doors are on the lower level. Let's go!" A boy called out to the others delinquents causing Clarke to mutter curses under her breathe as she climbed down the steps in frustration and loudly replied, " No, we can't just open the doors" Amelia sighed as she pulled Finn up dragging him towards the steps as they followed after the blonde onto the lower level on to frown at the sight of a guard standing in front of the doors trying to calm everybody down.

"Hey, just back it up guys!" The guard yelled causing Amelia to scoff in disbelief climbing down the rest of the stairs as she started pushing her way through the crowd with a roll of her eyes, " and who the hell do you think you are? This isn't the ark you don't get to control us or tell us what to do"

The guard turned his attention to the brunette causing his eyes widened at the beautiful brunette but ignored her comment as he walked over to the lever ready to pull it down to open the door but was interrupted once again but this time it was by a blonde girl as she made her way to stand next to Amelia and called out, " Stop! The air could be toxic"

He scoffed with an unamused look on his face clenching his jaw looking between the two girls and resorted, " If the air's toxic, we're dead anyway" he turned back around to pull the lever down when a Daniele voice stopped him as she softly spoke up in surprise, " Bellamy?"

Octavia jumped down from the ladder pushing her way through the crowd as she had teary eyes looking up at her older brother with a smile as he looked down at her with a small chuckle and told her, " My God, look how big you are" the brunette pulled her brother into a hug before pulling away with a puzzled expression and questioned, " what the hell are you wearing? A guard's uniform?"

"I borrowed it to get on the drop ship. Someone's got to keep an eye on you" Bellamy stated with an amused smile on his lips pulling his sister into another hug when Clarke frowned staring at him suspiciously and curiously asked, " where's your wristband?"

Octavia groaned as she turned around to face the blonde with a look of annoyance and irritation on her face as she narrowed her eyes at her and snapped, " do you mind? I haven't seen my brother in a year" whispers was heard throughout the drop ship, " No one has a brother"

"That's Octavia Blake. The girl they found hidden in the floor!" A girl called out causing Amelia to turn around narrowing her eyes at her and called out, " Hey, why don't you shut the fuck up before I beat the crap out of you" Octavia turned to stare at Amelia with a thankful smile trying not to laugh at the terrified expression on the red headed girl face  causing Bellamy to look between the two in confusion but understood that the two of them must be somehow close with one another.

"Let's give them something else to remember you by" Bellamy quietly told her sister as he grabbed her before she lunge herself at the girl causing her to huff in frustration as she turned around on her heel to face her brother and muttered under her breathe in disbelief, " Yeah, like what?"

"Like being the first person on the ground in a hundred years" Bellamy stated causing the two Blake siblings to exchange a smile as he pulled down the lever causing the door to slowly open which made Amelia shield her eyes away from the light. Amelia smiled brightly at the sight in front of them, bright green trees, the blue sky it was breathe taking something she would remember for the rest of her life.

Amelia was snapped out of her thoughts when Octavia entwined her fingers with hers dragging her down the ramp slowly jumping of the edge letting go of the Carter's girl hand throwing her arms up in the air and happily called out, " we're back bitches!" Amelia chuckled wrapping her arm around Octavia's shoulder dragging her into the green forest giggling loudly with everyone else following after the two girls running off the drop ship.
