Hoseok got up from his bed, a bit upset from his dream.

He was upset the other boy would not talk to him. But he was also upset with the fact that he was upset. Why was he upset? The boy was not even real.

Yet here Hoseok was, in love with someone who wasn't even real. It was undeniable. He was developing feelings for this faceless boy.

But that aside, he got up and did his usual routine before he would go to his dance class.

He was sitting at the counter eating a bowl of cereal when he felt an arm wrap around his shoulder and a face appeared on his side. It was Jimin.

He sighed excitedly before speaking. "Hobi-hyung, are you ready for today?" He asked excitedly.

Today was the day of their dance practical and as usual the two boys were excited indeed. Hoseok had almost forgotten.

He smiled back. "You know it," he grinned. "You better prepare yourself. I'm totally winning."

"We'll see about that."

Jimin and Hoseok did this often. Everytime the two had a practical, they would turn it into a competition and see who did better. This was their way of always trying to better themselves.

"Right, let's go," Hoseok suggested, getting up from his seat as he took his last bite.

🌱

Hoseok took one last spin and then ended his dance, the people around him cheering which only made him smirk lightly even though he was breathing heavily and drenched in sweat.

"Very good, Hoseok and Jimin," the dance teacher praised. It was obvious how impressed he was with them. "Keep up the great work!"

Both Hoseok and Jimin grinned at each other. Jimin was the first to link arms with Hoseok and then fist bump him with his free hand. "Great job!" He praised Hoseok.

"You weren't too bad yourself," Hoseok complemented proudly. "I guess all that practicing really was worth it, huh?"

The next fifty minutes were mostly filled with complements from other students and cheers as they encouraged other dancers. Soon, the class came to an end and Hoseok had already gotten dressed into his normal clothes. All that was left was for Hoseok to put on his shoes. Jimin stood beside Hoseok as he did so, still pulling a T-shirt down over his head. Hoseok unintensionally then started to hum the song he and the mysterious boy in his dream made.

In the distance, Hoseok could hear a boy softly mumbling words to himself. "I know this song. I'm sure I do," he went on.

Hoseok turned to see who it was. It was a boy he talked to from time to time. He'd been in dance class with Hoseok ever since it began two years ago but at the end of last year he had to leave the city for a while. He had only come back recently.

The boy suddenly gasped. He rushed towards Hoseok. "I remember that song!" He said, pointing to Hoseok excitedly. Hoseok looked up at him quizically. "That was the song you wrote with–"

Suddenly, his best friend rushed over to him, clasping a hand over his mouth tightly in order to make sure he wouldn't utter his next words. His eyes were wide with worry as his chest heaved up and down, the boy who covered the other's mouth. Jimin's eyes were wide too. The boy beneath the other just seemed completely confused as his mouth was being covered.

Hoseok immediately stood up, looking to the boy. "You know this song?" He asked eagerly and a bit too fast. But he couldn't help it. He had just mentioned him write the song with another person. Who?

The boy who was holding the other, laughed nervously. "Sorry, Hoseok. He doesn't really know what he's talking about," he said. Jimin gave him a look and the boy quickly added, "We need to go. See you next time, Hoseok," he waved and quickly left with the other boy, not covering his mouth anymore.

"But–"

The boy quickly shushed him before heading out.

Hoseok stood there, confused. What just happened?

"Ah, we should get going too, hm, Hobi-hyung?" Jimin sounded, lifting up his bag.

"What was he talking about?" Hoseok asked, still in a daze.

"Who? Oh, him?" Jimin asked, pointing in the direction of the door. "Nothing."
