Today you wanted to take me somewhere, in my dream, of course. We were just spending a casual day together with just the two of us.

Our day was filled with small, little things that made me the happiest person in the world. Like when we took the bus somewhere and you leaned your head on my shoulder. The sun shone down on your face and you looked so beautiful. It amazes me how everytime the sun shone on you, you would look like an angel. God probably sent you down just for me.

Sometimes while walking down the streets, we would hold hands too. We went to eat somewhere and we laughed and spoke so much, enjoying every moment of each other's presence.

We even went to a garden somewhere and lied in the grass among the flowers, side by side. At some point a random squirrel crawled on my chest and I got the biggest shock of my life. I immediately rolled over to your side and screamed, the poor squirrel running back to it's tree and you just sat there laughing yourself sick. I realized I was clutching onto your waist for dear life and my cheeks flushed red. You didn't mind though, as you caressed my head, still chuckling softly. "It's okay. I'm here to protect you," I remember you saying.

Then we were on another bus once again. I was exhausted and laid my head in your lap as your head leaned against the window and your fingers ran through my hair, caressing it lightly, leading me to fall asleep.

When the bus stopped, you woke me up and we headed out.

"Where are we going now?" I asked. It was roundabout sunset when we got out.

You smiled to me as you took my hand once again. "You'll see," you replied.

I did. After a few minutes of walking, we got there. It was a music studio. Apparently, your uncle owned the studio and you've always loved to make music. That explained why you were so good with writing that song before. You showed me a few tracks you've made before, the first one being the song we wrote together. You wanted to record it with me. And I gladly agreed.

Once we were finished, we laid on the leather couch together, that was situated beside the door, a bit tired from our long, fun day.

I smiled and wrapped my arms around you. "Today was fun. Thank you," I said and lied my head on your shoulder, with closed eyes and a light smile on my lips.

"I enjoyed it too," you replied. "We should do this more often."

"Hm," I agreed. We stayed like that for a while; in each other's arms, our eyes closed. I opened mine slightly. "I want to write you a song," I said.

"You do?"

"Hm," I nodded. "I only ever write songs with you. I want to one day write one on my own, just for you. I've never really written a song based on real feelings before though."

"I'll look forward to it," you smiled.

I loved every moment of that dream. I wish it never ended. Why must I always wake up?

Sincerely,
Jung Hoseok
