Cassie hung upside down on the chair as she watched Lucas try to throw skittles into Max's mouth, the four having to go to the next hallway to give El and Mike space as he tried to win her back. Will sat with Cassie as he looked down at her. "Why are you upside down?"

"To feel all the excruciating blood rush to my head, having a tortuous headache that makes me re-things the true, underlining, meaningful cause of my life." Cassie explained with a hand on her heart.

Will nodded. "Okay."

The lights blinked, Wills hand clasped on the back of his neck. Cassie sat up. "Will?"

He looked over at her in worry. "He's here."

A roar echoed in the distance, the four standing up and crowding together as they met up with Mike and El once more, letting her lead as they ran down the hallway. The party all crowding together as they hurried up the stairs. The sound of metal hitting metal filled their ears.

El lead the group still. They came across Jonathan hitting the door with a fire extinguisher. El hurried forward, Lucas put an arm back to hold Cassie as she stayed behind him, looking around his shoulder. A giant, slug like, creature turned their way, breathing heavily in their direction.
Cassies eyes widened in a panic as her heart rate speed up.

"What the f-" Max began before the creature shrieked loudly. As he came their way, El yelled as she used her powers to slam it against one wall, then the next, doing that a few times more to the ceiling and floor.

She backed up some as the creature came at them again, yelling once more before throwing it out of the small window. Lucas looked back as Cassie. "You okay?"

"Yeah." she held her chest. "Are you?"

He nodded his head, they followed the rest of the party outside to see it seep into the storm drains.

"Cas?" Lucas knocked on the bathroom door as Max and Mikes bickering echoed in the background. El was in her room, trying to spy while the rest of the party was meant to wait. Cassie had disappeared into the bathroom not long after they arrived, yet to come out. "Are you taking a massive shit or something?"

Cassie opened the door was a look of disbelief on her face. "Are you joking?"

"Hey, got you to open the door." he grinned, walking in as she shut the door again. "What are you all hold up in here for? You're missing the big show, figured you liked front row seats at the theater."

Cassie gave a small smile as she jumped up onto the bathroom counter while he leaned on the wall. "I'm just thinking about all of this, you know? The Mind Flayer, Will, El."

Weather it made her a cry baby or not, Cassie was never afraid to admit how scared she was. She was never one for horror movies, hated the idea of being alone, still slept with a nightlight, had to face the wall as she slept because she was scared something would be infront of her when she opened her eyes. She was scared of most things, some more then others. Only, she hadn't been like that until Will went missing and they were put into a world of monsters that were only suppose to live in your imagination.

Lucas nodded his head understandably. "I didn't think it'd come back."

Cassie bit the inside of her mouth. "It's just....what's the word?"

"Heart burning and soul crushing fear?" he quoted her with a teasing look.

It made her smile. "Yeah, that."

"Well, don't be scared." Lucas reassured her, holding his hand out to help her off the counter. "I'm not gonna let anything bad happen to you."

Cassie grinned, staring at him a minute before breaking her eyes away. There it was again, her hands in her pockets to look for her list of things do do in order to get over Lucas Sinclair. Yet, still, it was missing.

"Cas, Lucas!" Mike knocked on the door. "El found it!"

"We better get out there." Cassie nodded, pulling the door open and pushing it some for him to follow her.

"Billy knows it. Billys been there. To the source." El spoke as the two walked into the living room to join them.

"Yeah, but-" Mike began.

"It's a trap. I know." El cut him off with a nod of her head. "We can't go to Billy, but I think there's another way. A way for me to see where he's been."

The static was turned on the tv again as El sat before it. Cassie crossed her legs, leaning on her hands as her elbows dug into her knee. Mike held onto her wrist as he kneeled down to avoid falling. "El, I know you think you have to do this, but you don't. It's just, you've only done this before once. And your mom, she loved you, and wanted you to know what happened. And Billys mind is-is sick, diseased. The mind flayer is in him."

Cassie looked over, a double take at Max at the way she was looking at the two of them. "He can't hurt me. Not in there."

"We don't know that." Mike shook his head.

El turned to him fully now. "Mike. I need you to trust me."

Mike hesitated as he looked at Max, who gave him a stupid look. He faced El again. "Yeah. Just...be carful."

"For your poor eyes, El." Cassie held out the black blind fold. "See into the darkness, the world unknown and so terrible quiet and alone. Only to view your fate for what it is worth, saving everyone once more."

"Thanks." El took the blind fold.

Max gave her a subtle thumbs up as Cassie smiled. Moments passed and El was completely silent, which was weird. She usually would say what she saw but hadn't spoken to them at all. Max and Cassie shared a similar look as they watched. El began to panic as she took raged, beep breaths of fear.

"Somethings wrong." Mike spoke up with wide eyes.

"El?" Cassie leaned down. "Are you okay?"

A second passed and he saw the tear fall from under her blindfold. "I'm okay."

"Do you see something? Something beautiful? Something terrible?" Cassie listed on, her soft voice a greater comfort to El then anyone else's could have been.

"I'm.. on a beach." El answered.

Lucas gave an odd look. "Okay, I may be dense, but the last time I checked, there weren't any beaches in Hawkins."

"What else do you see?" Max asked her.

"A woman." El said after a second. "She's...pretty. I- I think she's looking at me. There's... a boy. It's Billy."

Max frowned as Cassie looked her way. "It's California. It's a memory."

"I think I see it." El said honestly. "The source."

Lucas reached over to hold Cassies shoulder.

"I think I found it. The source." El said against after a few minutes.

"Where, El? Where are you?" Max jumped in in questioning.

"Brimborn." El read "Steelworks."

Jonathan took off to grab the phone book, hurrying back over. Him and Nancy began to flip the pages. "Here, steel. Uh, found it. 6522 Cherry Oak Drive."

"That's close." Nancy nodded her head.

"El, El, we found it. Get out of there." Mike called quickly.

Cassie felt like her heart stoped when El didn't return, when she was frozen, as if she couldn't hear them. "El! Eleven!"

She crawled onto the ground, pulling her blind fold off as she pried her eyes open. "El, hey, hey. Come on."

"Eleven!" Mike yelled as a gasp suddenly coming from El, holding her eyes open on her own as she sobbed and latched onto Mike and Cassie on sync.
