"This is very soul shakingly terrifying." Cassie took a breath as she stared up at the house from Max's drawing.

"Yeah, that's not creepy." Steve agreed with her.

Lucas touched Cassies wrist and nodded for her to follow him up the steps.

"I mean, what exactly are we suppose to be looking for in this shithole?" Steve glanced to Max as him and Nancy started removing nails.

"What are you doing?" Lucas looked down as Cassie collected them when they hit the porch.

"Incase squirrels try to eat them." she said back, pocketing all the nails before he leaned down and began to help her.

"We just know this house is important to Vecna." Nancy answered Steve as she made sure not to yank the nails to hard to avoid them hitting Cassies head.

"Because Max saw it in Vecna's red soup mind world?" Steve looked to the redhead again.

"Red soup mind world." Cassie nodded her head. "I quite enjoyed that saying."

"Maybe it holds a clue to where Vecna is. Why he's back. Why he killed the Creels." Dustin shrugged as Cassie and Lucas stood up on sync. "And how to stop him before he comes back for Max."

"We don't think he's in here, do we?" Lucas gave a frightened look up at the house.

"Guess we'll find out." Max inhaled as she looked back, Steve and Nancy pulled the board from over the door.

"How stunningly gorgeous." Cassie gasped at the window stain.

"It's locked." Steve pulled one the door knob. "Should I knock, see if anybody's home?"

"No need." Robin smiled as she reached down to grab a brick. "I found a key."

Lucas' eyes widened as he grabbed Cassie, pulling her back from the window as Robin chunked it through the glass. Cassie sighed. "There goes the stunningly beautiful."

"I thought it was stunningly gorgeous?" Lucas looked to her a moment.

"Stunningly gorgeousness, beautiful." Cassie corrected herself with a smile as the pair walked in after Dustin and Max.

"Looks like someone forgot to pay their electric bill." Lucas spoke up as he tried to flip the light switch on.

"Thank the blessing of the great Lord above." Cassie unzipped her backpack and pulled out the pink flashlight one of her Dads got her a few months back. "And british man David Misell."

"Where'd everyone get those?" Steve gapped as everyone started to turn theirs on.

"Do you need to be told everything?" Dustin asked in disbelief. "You're not a child."

"Thank you." Steve inhaled.

"You can have mine, Steven." Cassie passed him the pink one and pulled the black one from her bag. "I believe the color brings out the shade of your cheeks and make you appear fascinatingly handsome."

Steve blinked down at her. "Aw, thanks."

"Cassie." Lucas spoke up, waving her over.

"They just left everything." Nancy and Robin looked at all the left furniture.

"I guess a triple homicide isn't good for resale value." Robin said in return, Cassie quite liked the pair of them as a team.

"I promise i'm gonna stop asking this, but you see it too, right?" Max's voice caught their attention, looking over as she stared up at the old Grandfather Clock.

"My vision is very much accompanying the clock in my pupils." Cassie nodded her head as she shined her light on it.

"Is this what you saw?" Nancy stood next to Max. "In your visions?"

"I mean, it's just a clock. Right?" Robin nodded as she rubbed her hand across the dusty glass. "Just a normal old clock."

"Why's this wizard obsessed with clocks?" Steve looked around at the small decors. "Maybe he's, like, a clockmaker or something?"

"Think you cracked the case." Dustin hummed.

"All I know is the answers are here. Somewhere." Nancy's eyes looked around. "Okay, groups of two. Robin, upstairs. Max, come with us."

Cassie nudged Lucas, encouraging him to go down the halls with her. The pair looked at the old photos on the wall, the dust covering the majority of the original photo. Cassie frowned. "I find it rather heartbreaking."

"The Crills?" Lucas asked as they walked into the, what appeared to be, library.

"Yes." Cassie turned to look at him. "My heart couldn't bare loosing my children, my lover, and being left alive and convinced I was insane. It's sad, truly."

"Yeah, it is." Lucas agreed, setting his light on the desk. "Hey, Cas?"

"Yeah?" her back was to him, scanning over all the books on the shelves.

"You, like, really kissed me at Dustin's." his words made her freeze with her back turned. "Did you really only do that because Jason was going to find us?"

Cassie kept her back turned a moment before she turned. "I-"

"I got him! I got him!" Robins yells echoed through the house, frightening the pair as they shared a look, joining hands, and running to see her holding her flashlight at the top of the stairs. "I had him."

"Like Will?" Cassie asked, referring to the light, Nancy nodded her head.

"Oh, woah." Steve gave a small gasp as his, Cassies, flashlight flipped on. "Oh, I think he's moving. He's moving."

"Power of Cassies Flashlight." Lucas smiled.

"I liked Claw Killer more." she cracked a small grin in his direction, referring to what he called her the year prior.

Steve hurried down the hallway, the group following after him to keep up with Vecna. As they made it up the stairs, the light fell dim. "Shit. I lost him."

"No, you didn't." Max reached forward after taking a few steps, opening up the door.

Cassie gave a scared look. "Im positively very terrified of my sake."

"It's just an attic." Lucas tried to reassure her, wrapping an arm around her as they headed up.

"It's an attic. Of course it's an attic." Robin spoke from behind them.

"Hold up, guys. What if he's leading us into a trap?" Dustin whisper-yelled from the back. "Guys, guys! Shit."

The light bulb in the middle of the attic began to flicker, Max and Cassie shared a look.

"Flashlights." Dustin spoke after he stared, all flipping them on quickly.

Standing close together, their lights all got brighter, like a chain reaction. Cassie had to laugh just slightly at it, because in any other situation, it would be beautiful. Steve held the pink light as his got brighter. "Okay, what is happening?"
