"Am I dead?"

Wanda blinked a few times, trying to get adjusted to her new surroundings. She felt like she was leaned against a large rock, but was sitting on grass. This definitely wasn't the TVA.

Her vision was a bit hazy, but something she could definitely see, was a hand in front of her face.

"Not yet darling. But you will be, soon if you don't come with us."

She blinked once more to see Loki and a breath of relief escaped her lips. His hand was held out to hers and she took it, helping herself up. He'd followed her here. But what did he mean by us? Mobius??!

Then she noticed something off. For one, this Loki had a different hair style. And he had two, short, golden horns on his head like a little crown/helmet. They looked like Sylvie's, except hers had one horn broken, this one was perfect.

"Loki?" She questioned, trying to figure out if she was seeing things.

"Oh so you've heard of me." The god smirked.

Then Wanda noticed a President badge on his uniform.

"Oh you must be a variant." She mumbled.

"Ah, so you've met a different version of me. Don't you worry. I assure you, I'm much better." He said.

"Where are we?" She asked, trying to get over this new Loki.

"The end of the world. That thing," He pointed towards a large, black smoke in the distance. "Will try to kill us all, so I advise you to join me and my crew. Or, you can wait for your lesser Loki who may not even show up. It's your choice."

Wanda glanced around. How a cloud could kill her, she didn't know. But she decided not to take any chances, so she looked at President Loki.

"Okay, I'll follow you." She said with a grim smile.

"I'm so glad you chose that." He took her hand, a bit rougher than the original Loki would have, but it was the end of the world apparently so Wanda just accepted it.

They walked down a hilly pathway. The place was abandoned, no life forms anywhere, just broken pieces of... things everywhere.

Wanda walked quickly, trying to keep up with President Loki's long steps. It was like he was trying to trip her.

"So you have a crew?" She asked.

"Yes, many other Lokis that I've found over the years. You don't appear to be a Loki, which is okay because I wouldn't want a female Loki at my side." He grimaced.

Wanda smiled at the thought of Sylvie. Hopefully she was okay. Same with Loki. They were both still with whoever pruned her, but they were strong and could handle themselves.

As they walked, Wanda's senses perked, like someone or something was near her that she'd sensed before.

"Wait one moment."

Wanda pulled her hand away from President Loki's and walked off the trail. She allowed her magic to lead her and she arrived at a small pile of dirt.

Not wanting to get her hands dirty, Wanda raised her hand and red magic picked at the dirt until it revealed a different pile of brown. This one had fur.

"Kip!"

Wanda picked up the tabby and smiled brightly.

"I'm so sorry for leaving you back at that awful planet. I'll never leave you again, I promise." Wanda said, wiping off the dirt from their face so she could give the kitten little kisses.

"A cat?" President Loki asked, confused.

"My cat. Their name is Kip." Wanda said, carrying the animal back over to the trail.

"Uh-huh. Okay, I guess we can have a pet with us." The variant shrugged his shoulders, then they continued down the trail.

Kip hissed at the Loki and Wanda swatted it gently.

"Hey, be nice okay." She told them.

The kitten pouted then climbed up and out of Wanda's arms. The small kitten sat on Wanda's shoulder and buried themself in her hair.

"Odd creature." President Loki mumbled.

They continued walking, not saying much to one another. Wanda looked around this 'end of time' place, not liking any of it.

"So the black cloud thing killed everyone else here? How did you and.. uh, your crew survive?" Wanda asked.

"We're Lokis, that's what we do." The president stated as if it were obvious. Well, it kind of was.

The two and Kip arrived at a black door. It had a golden helmet symbol spray painted on it. Loki put his hand against the doorknob and a green magic came out and unlocked the door.

The door swung open and Loki gestured for Wanda to go in, so she did.

It led into a staircase going down, so she walked down carefully since the stairs were quite steep.

"How come you don't have a regular place to stay?" Wanda asked, her voice at a whisper.

Kip's claws were digging into Wanda's shoulders as she walked down the stairs, probably to keep from bobbling off.

"The death smoke would find it and destroy it." President Loki replied.

"But it hasn't destroyed the door?"

"Oh it has, multiple times. It takes many spells and magical items to keep it from being knocked over or ripped off the ground every time the storm comes through."

"Oh."

Wanda reached the bottom step and walked further, her eyes widening at the huge space she walked into. Definitely didn't see that one coming.

Kip poked their head out from Wanda's hair and jumped down. They waddled over to where a small shelf was next to the entrance was. The shelf had many different types of Loki helmets, including one that could fit someone the size of Kip.

Wanda smiled as Kip managed to put themself under the helmet and situate it so that they were wearing the helmet as if they were a Loki.

President Loki took Wanda's attention off of the animal by putting his hand on her shoulder and turning her to see where a crew sized group, was sharpening weapons and smacking each other.

None of them really looked like her Loki, but to be fair, they were shapeshifters so it made sense.

"HEY!" President Loki shouted.

All the men stopped and turned towards the two, immediately making Wanda feel very uncomfortable.

"I found this woman out in the open. Her name is.. Uh what's your name?"

"Wanda.."

"Her name is Wanda and you are all to treat her like you would each other."

The president finished his statement and the other Lokis all shrugged and grunted before going back to doing what they were doing.

Loki's voice left the loud, speaker tone, and went back to his normal President tone as he turned and spoke to Wanda.

"Before I allow you to get situated with my men, I need you to meet our Jotunheim variant." He said.

"Yo-Dim-Heim?" Wanda repeated, confused at the big word.

"Sure. He's the one who makes sure that everyone is as they seem. He's like a human lie detector and he freezes everyone who doesn't tell the truth. We lost many ungood Lokis when he showed up." President Loki explained.

"Oh." Wanda said with a small gulp.

"I'm sure he'll like you." Loki said cheerfully, putting an arm around Wanda's neck and leading her away.

Wanda make a "Pspsps" sound and Kip hurried over to them, using their claws to climb up President Loki's legs before snuggling themself in the god's curly hair.

"Why do you like this creature so much?" Loki grunted, annoyed at the Kitten's gold horn helmet poking him in the neck.

Wanda just gave a small giggle.

They walked to another staircase downwards and Wanda wondered if they were going into a dungeon area.

When they reached the bottom, the President pushed Wanda forward, himself staying back. He plucked Kip off of his shoulder and just held the creature in his hands, awkwardly stroking it.

Wanda took a few steps forward, not seeing any Loki in the darkness of the room.

She did see a faint blue tower like thing, but she could barely see it.

"You are not a Loki."

A voice, a loud one, spoke. The sound came from above her, and Wanda looked up. It sounded like her Loki, but more echoey. Suddenly, she felt her legs crumble as something hit against them.

She fell to the side and felt herself being lifted up by something. What the hell did Jotunheim mean??

She managed to keep herself steady as she was lifted in the air, staying on her knees since she couldn't stand. Once she was lifted up though, blue lights began appearing, as if it was only light up here rather than below.

Her lift came to a stop and she stared in front of her, eyes wide and fear filling her.

Blue light shimmered on the Loki variant. He was a giant, blue creature, wearing a chest piece and a golden helmet with long horns. The 'blue tower' she saw moments before must've been a leg or something. The variant was at least 20 feet tall, no wonder there were so many stairs.

"Ah, you are the Scarlet Witch. Wanda Maximoff. I've met one like you before."

"You have?"

"Indeed. Now, what are you doing in a cave full of Loki variants?"

"Um. Well I woke up in this world and the.. President (?) found me and brought me to this place."

"Interesting. He rarely brings in guests."

"He does?"

"He must see you as a threat. You see, we've had very little non-Lokis enter this place. I'd say either you are special, or the Loki who brought you in wishes to kill you."

"Oh."

Wanda spoke in a grumble, still full of fear but not from the giant this time, from the fact that apparently a group of Lokis were now getting ready to kill her. AND THEY HAVE KIP!?

"Why are you not killing me then?" Wanda asked with a small gulp.

"I have no reason. I do not work for this Loki. I stay here and judge the people he brings me. In return, I get shelter and occasionally food."

"You're a prisoner?"

"Well.. That is up to debate. I am ashamed to admit the amount of people I have harmed for the biding of this Loki, but you are special, little witch. I trust you to do what you know is best."

The Loki started moving his hand that Wanda stood on, and Wanda gave a worried look.

"You're sending me back down?!" She asked, her tone full of fear.

"Not yet."

He raised his hand a touch and placed Wanda on a ledge in the cavern.

A yellow torch shown into a hallway and Wanda followed the light, not sure of what else to do in the moment.

She approached a small room that had blue lights illuminating everything, just like in the upper part of the cave that the Giant Loki was in.

Wanda's eyes widened as she looked around. Ice statues, everywhere. Then her gaze stopped on a particular statue.

A small gasp escaped her lips as she approached the sculpture.

It was herself.

Well, a variant of herself. She was the Scarlet Witch. She wore a red gown and had a red crown upon her head. Wanda also noticed that this was the only frozen statue with cracks in it, as if the variant were able to escape from inside the ice.

Wanda dared to reach her hand out, her finger sliding against the cracks.

She turned away from the frozen Witch and looked around the room. Everyone else seemed to be male Lokis, very few females.

All of them looked like her Loki.

This president guy must really like himself so much that he kills all the look alikes and females or something.

Wanda took a shaky breath, then turned and left the room, going back to the Jotunheim Loki.

He sensed her coming back out and he held his hand up for her to climb on, then he moved her back in front of his face.

"I apologize for them. Most didn't deserve that fate. I believe in you, Wanda. You can save yourself."

And with that touching pep talk, he lowered her down to where President Loki was waiting for her.

Wanda definitely looked a bit shaken and the president chuckled.

"I assume he thought well of you, otherwise you'd be dead. Come now."

Wanda didn't reply and instead followed Loki out, glancing back to the giant one last time before leaving.

When they reached the top, Kip hopped off of President Loki's shoulder and scampered towards the staircase out.

Wanda turned towards the other Lokis as she reached the open room. All of them seemed a touch on edge, or maybe that was just Wanda.

"Now, I'm not quite sure how to tell you this but, it is not Jotunheim Loki's decision to let you stay or not. I don't particularly like your witch kind after a last encounter I had, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to kill you."

The president turned to face her as he spoke, and Wanda looked towards him as well. Her peripheral vision showed her the other Lokis standing up, readying their weapons.

"You know, can't say I'm surprised. Loki's are nothing but backstabbers."

The president chuckled.

"You know us so well."

And with that, he summoned two daggers and swung at Wanda.

The odds were about 20 to 1, not great odds but unfortunately her Loki nor Sylvie were here to help.

Wanda summoned her magic and threw the largest blast she could muster in two seconds at the President, then summoned more blasts to fire at the group of Lokis that were charging at her.

She flew herself up into the air, which wasn't that high thanks to the fact that they were underground, but it was just enough to be higher than the other Lokis. She flew herself towards them, dodging flying knives and swords and throwing blasts of magic at them.

Thankfully, the group of Lokis weren't too difficult to take down, they just kept getting back up which was the annoying part. President Loki was the hardest to knock down, but thankfully he didn't get back up. Probably cause his head rammed into the handle of a sword with a blast of magic.

Wanda summoned as much magic in one force as she could and she lowered herself, watching the variants get up and charge at her, throwing weapons and magic.

She let out a shout and chucked the magic at the group, hitting all of them and knocking them all unconscious.

Wanda let out a heavy breath from the amount of magic and energy she just used.

She then walked towards the President and grabbed him by his shirt collar. She picked up one of his daggers and put it to his throat.

"Take me out of here and to a safer zone or I will kill you."

The Loki variant chuckled.

"The only thing you'll find is more Lokis." He said.

"Fine. Take me to see these other Lokis."

The president got up and Wanda took his other dagger, slipping it into her own belt since this Loki didn't need it.

Kip came out of their hiding spot and bit the president in the leg, causing him to let out a grunt in pain.

Then the President led Wanda and Kip out of the cavern and through the end of time world, trying not to limp. That cat had a mean bite.

All Wanda could think about was her Loki though.

"Well, uh.. Back on Proserpina. This is new for me.. um."

He never got to finish his sentence and Wanda worried that whatever he wanted to say was bad.

Eventually, the variants reached a small sewer opening.

"Down there are more variants." President Loki said.

"And how am I supposed to believe you?" Wanda scoffed.

"Because you took away the only things I love." President Loki replied, crossing him arms.

"Your crew isn't dead." Wanda rolled her eyes.

"No. My daggers."

"Of course. What is it with Lokis and their daggers?"

President Loki leaned down to open the sewer lid, but he didn't have to. Someone else from underneath did.

"My my. You must be the famous variant then. Nice face." President Loki said with a wink.

Wanda pushed the variant out of the way and looked down, into the tunnel.

"Loki!" A smile formed on her face.

"Wanda?"
