"Our memories? Isn't that an invasion of privacy?" Wanda asked, suddenly getting talkative.

"Only if you're hiding something." Mobius said.

"I am." Wanda stated angrily.

"Oh?" Loki asked, looking at Wanda with a bit of a smirk.

"Everyone is. And I don't know about you but I'd prefer for my history to not be shared with the so called 'God of Mischief'."

"Well if you'd stayed in your correct timeline, you wouldn't have to deal with this. How about this, we play over the God's moments, then yours."

Wanda slumped back in her chair, knowing she didn't have much of a choice thanks to this stupid collar and this stupid magic restricting habitat.

Mobius clicked on the ball device and the screen began piecing itself together, showing New York.

"I'd like to call it a sampling of your greatest hits." Mobius said while Loki and Wanda both glared at him.

The scene switched from the landscape to an image of the original six avengers ready to attack the viewer, aka Loki.

Loki sighed at this.

"If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now." The recording showed.

"Yeah, I remember that. I was there. Is the witch supposed to know this too?" Loki scoffed.

"It's funny, for someone born to rule, you sure do lose a lot. You might even say it's in your nature." Mobius said.

Wanda eyed the devices on the table, but didn't make a move for them because Mobius's arms were closer and she didn't want him to be suspicious of her.

"You know, things didn't turn out so well for the last person who said that to me." Loki stated.

"Oh yeah Phil Coulson." Mobius said.

He clicked a button and the image shifted to Agent Coulson holding a large gun before getting stabbed through the heart.

"Didn't the Avengers come together to literally avenge him by defeating you?" Mobius said.

"I've met that man." Wanda said.

"What?" Loki turned to Wanda.

"I was sent on a mission to a SHIELD base and I met him, they told me not to tell anyone and I didn't know why. I guess now I do." She said, her voice growing smaller as she spoke.

"And it was for nothing." Mobius shrugged before moving on. "Do you enjoy hurting people?"

The scene switched again to the street of New York being blasted at by the Chitauri.

"Making them feel small?" He continued.

Wanda tried not to show emotion to the screen, but the scene reminded her all to well of the war going on when she was younger.

"Making them feel afraid?"

"Your games don't frighten me."

"Making them feel little?"

The two bantered while Wanda continued watching the screen, unable to take her eyes away from the mess occuring and wondering if she was that bad as well.

"I know what I am."

"A murderer?"

"A liberator."

"Of eyeballs maybe."

Mobius switched the screen again, going to Loki using a device to rip out an innocent man's eye in a public crowd, then a shot of him smirking.

"Look at that smile. You are enjoying that. Did you enjoy hurting them?"

"I don't have to play this game. I'm a god."

"Of what, again? Mischief, right?"

"Yeah."

"I don't see anything very mischievous about this."

Mobius paused the screen on a young woman looking in terror. Wanda moved her eyes away from the screen and at Mobius since she didn't want to look at Loki.

"No. I don't suppose you do." Loki stated.

"Let's talk about your escapes." Mobius sighed. "You're really good at doing awful things, and then just getting away."

"What can I say? I'm a mIscHiEvOuS scamp."

"This is one of my favorites."

Mobius clicked the device and the screen swapped to Loki, younger, on a place in a black suit with a woman in a red suit coming towards him.

"From the flight deck, Captain William A. Scott, Northwest Orient Airlines 305, on a schedule to land in Seattle. Flight time today, approximately..."

"Bourbon and soda?" The suited woman asked Loki.

"Thank you." Loki took the bourbon.

"Absolutely, is there anything else I can do for you sir?"

"I suppose we'll find out, won't we."

Loki gave a smile and took a small slip of paper from his suit and handed it to the woman.

She smiled and put the paper on the plate she was carrying before turning to leave. Loki stopped her.

"Uh Miss?"

"Yes, Mr. Cooper?"

"You might want to take a look at that note." The woman's smile faded after his words, then he whispered, "I have a bomb."

He then gave an innocent smile and the scene switched to him wearing sunglasses.

Out of the scene, the actual Loki began speaking but Mobius cut him off, "I fail to see how this has any relevance or bearing on-" "sh sh shhh No this is the good part."

The scene went to the woman giving Loki a package of money and Loki putting on a parachute backpack. He took the bag of money and pulled his sunglasses down for a moment to wink at the woman.

"See you again someday."

He then turned and began towards the exit.

"Brother, Heimdall, you better be ready."

The scene showed the plane flying into the sky, and in actual life Wanda watched Loki get second hand embarrassment from this.

The scene then showed Loki jumping from the plane and a magic beam catching him before he even made it ten yards.

"You were D.B. Cooper?" Wanda asked.

"I can't believe you were D.B. Cooper! Come on." Mobius said, hitting the table dramatically.

"I was young and I lost a bet to Thor. Where was the TVA when I was meddling with these affairs of men?"

"Well we were right there with you, just surfing that Sacred Timeline."

"Oh so that had the Time-Keepers seal of approval, did it?" Loki scoffed.

"Well I wouldn't think of it in terms of approval and disapproval. That's sort of uh. . . Let's get back to escapes. And a little psychobabble. What is it that you think you're really running from?" Mobius asked.

"Enough." Loki went to stand and Mobius pulled out his device and sat him back down, rewinding his actions.

"Back in your cage. See I can play the heavy keys too."

Both Loki and Wanda saw Mobius putting the device in his pocket but neither of them tried anything yet.

"I was just standing up to make a point."

"I'm sorry go ahead." Mobius sighed.

"It won't be as meaningful now."

"Okay well stay seated."

"I'll do what I want to do."

Part of Wanda smiled internally because his attitude was that of a child and she missed the actions of her children. Then she shamed herself for relating this murderer to her innocent twins.

"Sure." Mobius nodded.

Loki stood up and walked away from the table and away from the screen with a heavy sigh. Wanda turned around in her chair to watch.

"What exactly is it that you want?"

"I want you to be honest about why you do what you do."

"Liar."

"I'm serious!" Mobius too stood up but Wanda just stayed put since she didn't want to join this. "All I seek is a deeper understanding of the fearsome God of Mischief. What makes Loki tick?"

"I know what this place is." Loki scoffed.

"What is it?"

"It's an illusion. It's a cruel, elaborate trick conjured by the weak to inspire fear. A desperate attempt at control. Now you all parade about as if you're the divine arbiters of power in this universe."

There was a very small pause before Mobius replied.

"We are."

"You're not. My choices are my own."

"Your choices are your own. Good. Let's go with that. I think this one's gonna fire you up."

Mobius clicked the device and it showed a crowd kneeling to Loki as Loki spoke of truth and freedom.

"Precisely!" Loki agreed with the statement he made on the screen. "I was.. I am on the verge of acquiring everything I am owed. And when I do it'll be because I did it. Not because it was supposed to happen! Or because you, or the Time Variance Authority or whatever it is you call yourself-! allowed me to. Honestly you're pathetic. You're an irrelevance. A detour. A footnote in my ascent." Loki declared.

"You finished? You're gonna start taking things seriously. If you hadn't picked up the tesseract, you would've been taken to a cell on Asgard."

Mobius showed an image of Loki in chained handcuffs marching forward. The image showed a woman, Frigga.

"Loki."

"Hello mother. Have I made you proud?"

"Please. Don't make this worse."

"What is this?" Actual Loki began. "This is nonsense, more tricks. This never even happened."

"Not to you. Not yet. Look, the TVA doesn't just know your whole past, we know your whole life, how it's all meant to be. Think of it as comforting."

"None of this is comforting." Wanda said, finally speaking after the angry rants.

"Then am I not your mother?" The screen showed a new scene of what appeared to be Loki in a cell speaking with Frigga.

"You're not." Loki on the screen replied.

"Hmm. You're always so perceptive about everyone but yourself."

Mobius butted in.

"But then the Dark Elves attack the palace, and you think you send them to Thor."

"You might wanna take the stairs to left."

"But instead you send them..."

The seen showed an image of Frigga being held at a choke hold by a creature who both variants assumed were the Dark Elves. Wanda's hand went to her mouth as she assumed what was about to happen.

"I'll never tell."

The woman got stabbed through the side and Wanda gasped. Loki remained speachless and looked at the screen in horror.

Then the screen showed Frigga's dead body lying on the ground.

"Where do you have her? Where is she?" Loki demanded.

"You lead them right to her."

"I don't believe you. You're lying. It's not true!"

"It is true. That's the proper flow of time and it happens again and again and again because it's supposed to. Because it has to. The TVA makes sure of it."

"Where is she?"

"Now why don't you tell me, do you enjoy hurting people?"

"I don't believe you."

"Do you enjoy killing?!"

"I'll kill you."

"What like you did your mother?"

Loki grabbed his chair and threw it at the screen. The sight split for a moment before reshaping to Frigga's dead body. Loki ran at Mobius but Mobius clicked his collar device and Loki reset, this time on the floor since his chair was gone.

Wanda gave a small sigh at this, lookings way from the two and placing her hands on her face and trying to get away from the emotions forming on her.

"Sorry the Time Twister just loops you, not the furniture. You weren't born to be king, Loki. You were born to cause pain and suffering and death. That's how it is, that's how it was, and that's how it will be. All so that others can achieve their best versions of themselves."

Mobius switched the scene to a clip of the Avengers getting ready to face off against the Chitauri.

Mobius walked around to offer Loki a hand to get up.

"What is this place?" He asked. He sounded defeated, tired, upset. He wanted out of this prison.

"Come on."

Loki waited, but took his hand and pulled himself up.

"Now your turn, Miss Scarlet Witch." Mobius turned to Wanda.

"No." Wanda replied.

She moved her hands away from her face and did her best to show a blank stare instead of puffy eyes from the memories of her own parents dying and this simple image of a person she barely knew's mother triggering her.

On cue, the door to the entrance opened and Hunter B-15 walked in.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"My job. Is it yours to interrupt?"

"We have a situation."

Mobius sighed. "There's always a situation." He then looked at the two variants and pointed at them both. "Don't go anywhere."

He began to exit and Loki stayed standing.

"It was just getting good, I'm onto you next Wanda." Mobius said with a smug look before exiting.

The doors shut and Wanda stood up, standing to face the door next to Loki.

Loki turned and wrapped his hand around her throat, pushing her backwards. It caught her off guard and she choked as she was pushed against one of the walls.

"Why?! Why is he against me so much and you haven't said a word!?" Loki demanded.

Wanda gagged more as Loki lifted her slightly off the ground. She grabbed his wrist and used her free hand to push up on his elbow, causing him to grunt and release her.

"Don't blame me for the actions of this TVA. I don't want to be here either. As far as I'm concerned, it's your fault I'm here anyways!"

"Oh please. You're still alive, you should be grateful for that!"

"And what if I wanted to be reset!?"

"Then get yourself one of those glow sticks and do it yourself. But until you do, I got us a way out!" Loki said angrily.

"What?"

Loki opened his other hand that hadn't been choking Wanda. It held a Time Twister or whatever they were called.

"Do you want out or do you want a History review on your life?" Loki asked.

Wanda rolled her eyes.

"That's what I thought."

He clicked a button and Wanda disappeared like how he assumed he did whenever he was warped back to his spot. He did a small manoeuvre on the device and he too disappeared, landing a few feet away from Wanda.

"Well that worked out better than I expected."
