IRL

Lavvie walked around her yard, greeting everyone who'd come to the gender reveal. She'd left Dylan in charge of planning, since he insisted it would be too much stress. She was surprised to see how great it had turned out, their friends each excited spread around the yard. Her hands cupped her belly as she walked—well, waddled—around.

"Do you like it?" Shelley asked, placing her arm over Lavvies shoulder.

"Its great." Lavvie smiled, leaning against the other.

"Good, Kaya and I actually helped plan most of it." Shelley told her with a quick wink, Lavvie wasn't surprised at that. Dylan wasn't exactly the most coordinated person when it came to planning.

"You've got a pink ribbon, you think its a girl?" Lavvie asked, she hadn't known herself what the baby would be. The only one who knew was Will, since both Lavvie and Dylan decided he was the best at keeping secrets.

"I hope it is, but yknow I'll love it no matter what." Shelley answered, kissing Lavvies cheek.

"Mmhm, I'm gonna get some snacks." Lavvie said as she noticed the table full of food. She walked over to it, immediately grabbing each food she thought would be appetizing. As she was munching on some chips she felt arms wrap around her, hands placed softly against her stomach.

"You look gorgeous." Dylan whispered into her ear, kissing her neck causing her to giggle.

"I'm stuffing my face." She retorted, placing her hand on his as he rested his chin on her shoulder.

"So? You still look amazing."

"I love you." She told him, leaning back against him.

"I have never felt more single." Daniel said as he walked up to them, smiling at the couple.

"Hey, loser." Lavvie joked, watching as he rolled his eyes at her.

"You cheated." Daniel retorted, referring to the time she'd beat him in a staring contest, twice.

"My girl doesn't cheat at anything, shes just perfect." Lavvie didn't know whether to smile or cringe at Dylan's cheesy comment, pulling away from his arms.

"When do we get to do the reveal?" Lavvie asked, ignoring Dylan's comment as she started to grow impatient.

"Whenever you'd like."

"Now? Please." She asked with a pout, taking his hand in her own and he nodded.

"Absolutely." Dylan answered, just as impatient to know the gender of his child. "Shell! We're ready!" Dylan yelled and Shelley let out a squeal, running inside quickly with Will following her.

The pair came back out holding a cake and carrying it to an empty table. Lavvie gripped Dylan's hand, pulling him to the cake.

"It's happening!" Lavvie laughed as she heard Tyler yell out excitedly, causing everyone to circle the table.

"Do we trust either of them with a knife?" Thomas joked as Lavvie picked up the knife. Everyone laughed but quickly quieted down watch as Dylan placed his hand over Lavvies.

The couple brought the knife to the cake, both growing anxious as the cut into the cake. Lavvie wanted to squeeze her eyes shut but stopped herself from doing so as they brought the knife back up and cut once more. As they brought the slice out, their smiles grew and Lavvie let out a small squeal. She dropped the knife and hugged Dylan tightly, she would've been happy either way but knowing now was a complete rush. Everyone cheered for them, watching the happy couple celebrate.

"Its a girl!"
