He threaded the daisy chain through my hair and I grinned up at him. He smiled back down at me, those cute dimples complimenting his soft, pink lips. He was beautiful. The sky above him was a pale blue, the sun hiding behind clouds. It was to be expected, though, since it was just about mid-March. The daisies were a rare find.

It was early morning on a Tuesday, and we came to our park every morning before college. What had happened had brought us closer.

When I almost died.

I still get flashbacks, still get a sore side or feel a scream rise in my throat. But then he touches me and brings me back.

I love him so much. He saves me in every moment he has on this earth with me.
