―𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐊𝐋𝐄𝐘 is descended from a very powerful magical bloodline. Her ancestry came by way of Salem, but the first witch of her bloodline, Abigail Castor was born in chains. Abigail torched those chains when she burned down an entire town of non-magical folk who sought to do her harm. Abigail Castor was known to have an influence over magic on a scale similar to Merlin himself.

Since the times of Abigail Castor, her bloodline has never failed to produce very powerful wizards and witches. In modern ages — AKA the 90s' — there is only one family left that is a known descendant of Abigail Castor.

The Lockley family.

It is said that the day Isabelle Lockley was born, the skies rained blood and the heavens screamed. Obviously — this is a bit of an exaggeration, but the truth of the matter is that the day Isabelle Lockley was born, her connection to magic and the Earth was so great that it swallowed nearly everything in its vicinity.

Metaphorically speaking that is.

Everyone could sense her powerful pull on the magical forces, it was undeniable.

Her mother nearly died giving birth — she would have if she'd not hired one of the most talented mid-wives in the wizarding world to assist her.

A witch with such a power had not been born since the time of Abigail herself. A Supreme Witch or Wizard as the name had been given. People with great magic; people such as Merlin, Morgana le Fay, and Abigail Castor.

Good and evil are two sides of the same coin. Legend has it that when a Supreme Witch or Wizard is born: nature flips a coin and the world holds its breath to see which side it will land.

Merlin landed on the side of the light — Morgana le Fay on the side of darkness. Abigail Castor never truly admitted which side won her over, many claim she was taken by dark magic early on.

Now, the only question that remains is what side shall the coin land for Isabelle Lockley?

Perhaps a rich boy whom she has a massive crush on can help her figure it out.

First and foremost, I have tried to keep Draco as in-character as possible but seeing as this is still a fanfic he is probably OOC in many aspects.

This is both a fast-paced romance and slow-burn. What I mean by this is that there is a lot of pining going on, mostly from Isabelle's side at first, and not a whole lot of talking between the two characters at first.

Not in-person talking at least, you'll see what I mean as you read on! This story has many ups and downs as their relationship progresses. This fanfiction starts out very sugary sweet and funny, but eventually, it will get darker.

It is not an absolutely masterpiece fic that will crush your soul and make you live again like Manacled or Core, but I like to think it has its own little charm.

Isabelle is not a character that people should try and strive to be like — I know this and you should all know this! She got her lovely little quirks and issues like us all or whatever.

Her relationship with Draco at first borders on obsessive, I know this and it was intentional, it's a crush people! And this is written for entertainment purposes, so please don't comment nonsense.

It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea and that's fine, so if you don't like, don't hate just head on out. Cool? Cool.

Furthermore — there is going to be explicit and mature content down the line. Like decently far down the line so take that as you will. Warnings will be posted at the beginning of chapters with such content. DO NOT READ IF YOU'RE NOT COMFORTABLE.

Also, also, also! I know this is technically my fourth Potter universe fic where the OC is American... hahaha... love you guys, so please don't hate me! I swear it's not on purpose, it just kinda ended up that way.
