Friendships improves happiness and abates misery by doubling our joys and dividing our grief. Friendship evolving into something more is always a scary thing for anyone but when it feels so right, why run? After the Ferris Wheel, Jacob and Honey made their way out of the fair and to his bike. Honey giggled at the way Jacob's hand wouldn't stray far from her, he either held her hand or had his arm around her waist. No words were really shared after the two practically made out with each other in the Ferris Wheel cart under the setting sun. On the ride back home, Jacob used one hand to control the bike while the other rested on Honey's thigh despite her arms wrapped around him.

When they stopped in front of the Swan residence, Honey had climbed off the bike and stood beside Jacob as he steadied the bike on its stand and looked up at her. "You know the Ferris Wheel was the most cliche move ever, right?" Honey teased, she knew he did it for the kiss but she didn't mind. "Worked out, didn't it?" Jacob replied with a proud grin. "I guess it did," Honey told him as she let him guide her closer to him. "It was a good day," Jacob said as his hands rested on Honey's hips. "It was a great day," Honey corrected slipping her arms around Jacob's shoulders before leaning down and kissing him again. Jacob pulled her closer wanting to deepen the kiss but she pulled away with a smirk, "Good night, Jake."

He groaned playfully as Honey turned and made her way up the door, he watched her hips sway and shook his head when she glanced back with a wink. Jacob didn't leave until Honey was safe inside the house, the bike engine roared down the street making Honey grin. "Was it good?" Bella asked as she leaned on the doorway. "Please tell me I don't need to shoot the boy," Charlie's voice interrupted before Honey could answer Bella. "We only kissed, Charlie. Don't worry," Honey assured him, he nodded and waved his hand; he had heard enough so he walked away. "But it was sweet and... perfect," Honey said before yawning, "But I'm tired so let's go to bed." Bella nodded and the two headed off to bed.

Two weeks went by and the soul sisters had set up a girls day with Jessica and Angela. While Honey was good friends with Angela, the blonde happened to understand Jessica in a way that Bella couldn't so the brunette would usually spend more time with Angela instead. The plan was to do breakfast and then go a little roadtrip out of Forks, some sight seeing and shopping. Jacob wasn't too keen on Honey or Bella being so far from his protection, especially Honey but he couldn't argue out of it against Honey who could convince him that the pope was a sinner. So with a sweet kiss shared with the russet man, Honey was on the road for the Saturday alongside Bella, Jessica and Angela.

Angela had volunteered to drive in her car so Honey pushed Bella to take the passenger seat leaving her and Jessica in the back talking about school and other people. The conversation was light and Angela had already told Jessica not to mention the Cullens in front of Bella, something she accepted not wishing to upset Honey. It was a few hours until they had gotten away from Folks and on the other side of Seattle, the girls were laughing and talking about the most random topics. Honey noticed how Bella was actively involved in the conversation and she seemed to be happy leaving Honey feeling accomplished and overjoyed that the girl is doing better.

Meanwhile back in Forks, Jacob walked into Emily's spotting Paul, Jared and Embry sitting at the table waiting for Emily's cooking to be done. "Where's Honey bear?" Jared asked with a pout. "She's having a girls day out of town," Jacob answered, it was clear that he was feeling on edge not having her by his side or even close by. "You willingly let your Imprint leave the town for a day without you?" Embry asked with wide eyes, he hadn't Imprinted on anyone yet but he knew by Sam's protective nature on Emily that this was a huge thing. "You try saying no to her," Jacob snapped back when they were all suddenly set on edge, an unfamiliar scent hit the wolves.

"Leech," Paul growled before they heard Sam's howl, the four of them rushed out of Emily's home and phased before rushing off towards the Alpha. It wasn't long before the large wolves reached Sam, they all spotted the pale woman with fiery red hair standing a small distance from them. She smirked their way before she turned and ran off, the wolves were quick to follow her and hunt her down, their desire to kill the unfamiliar woman was high. They soon reached the cliff's edge where the woman leaped off and disappeared into the water below, Jacob growled as he looked over the edge trying to spot her with no luck. He didn't know why she was around but he was concerned about Honey.

"I am so glad that you bought that dress 'cause it was so your colour," Jessica told Honey as the two walked ahead of Angela and Bella. They had been shopping for a few hours now and all four girls were getting close to their limits they had set for themselves. "Though it is amusing buying dresses when we live in rainy weather," Honey replied to Jessica who nodded in understanding. "But we have some sunny days and that's why they invented tights," Jessica reminded her with a smile as Honey's phone began ringing. "Excuse me girls," Honey told the three before she stepped aside and answered her phone.

"Hey Jake," Honey greeted with a soft smile on her face. "Hey princess, how long till you get back?" Jacob asked, he felt more on edge thanks to the vampires presence mixed with his Imprint being so far from his reach right now. "We're just finishing up shopping and then we're heading back as Jessica's mom wants her home," Honey answered him, their day had to be cut short as Jessica was having some family dinner so she was told to come home by her parents. "Okay. I'll see you soon, princess," Jacob told her, he wasn't gonna tell her about the red head over the phone so he'd wait until she was home in his arms where she was safest. "See you soon, Jake," Honey replied before hanging up.

"Was that Jacob?" Bella asked once Honey walked over to the girls. "Yeah, he was wondering how long we'd be," Honey replied making Jessica perk up. "He's not... forcing you home or, like, anything?" Jessica asked as she and Angela shared a look that Honey understood perfectly. "No, nothing like that. Jake is like a puppy, if he doesn't get attention every few hours, he becomes a bit of a sook," Honey explained making the three girls laugh, Honey grinned as they continued walking. Unfortunately for Honey, she hadn't hung up on Jacob and he heard exactly what she said. And with a smirk on his face, he knew that he'd get her back for the comment; no matter how possibly true it was.

The girls picked food up on their way back into Forks, they were talking about random things that came to mind until Jessica accidentally mentioned the Cullens. "So Bella, now that Cullen is gone, are you gonna try something with anyone else?" Jessica asked. Honey turned to her with furrowed brows, the sound of tone was more harsh than she had been expecting of the small brunette. "Uh, not really interested in anyone else," Bella replied as she stared blankly out the window, all of her fun for the day had faded with that simple question and Honey could feel it. "Well, I mean... Mike is still into you so--" Jessica was cut off by Honey's glare, a rare sight to see.

"Mike knows that Bella isn't interested in him and if he continues to pursue her even when she has clearly shown no interest... then he'll deal with me," Honey warned before looking at Jessica, "And we've discussed this already, Jess. Mike dumping you is not Bella's fault, it was his choice, his actions and his decision. Don't blame Bella." The car was silent after those words coming from Honey, the blonde turned to look out the window. Bella was back to her blank state, her mind trailing back to the one she was missing with every fibre of her being. Angela felt bad that Jessica couldn't seem to help herself when it came to gossip and drama which always caused conflict.

As they were driving back into Forks, Angela glanced to the side for a simple second however, it was long enough for a simple blur to rush by and cause Angela to swerve. All four girls panicked as Angela's car slid on the asphalt before it spun out into a tree harshly, they had been going a fairly high speed as required for the road they were on. Honey smacked her head harshly against the side door, the airbags had popped from the steering wheel and dash protecting Angela and Bella as best as they could. Everything went black for the girls from the impact, the one who caused the crash stepped closer to the car.

She reached out and went to open the passenger door when the back door opened, the blonde hybrid climbed out and glared at the red head despite the blood dripping from her head. "You must be the precious Honey that I've heard all about," Victoria taunted with a smirk. "And you must be the one who was mated to... James, right?" Honey asked ignoring the pain she felt through her body, moments like these reminded her that a part of her was still completely human. "I heard about him," Honey continued noticing how tense Victoria was in that moment. "I heard they ripped him apart and burned him to nothing," Honey taunted the woman.

Victoria growled before she rushed towards Honey, the blonde was quick to dodge her and avoid her. Honey's ability to anticipate movement allowed her to overpower Victoria's self-preservation enough to actually fight her. Victoria and Honey continued to throw hits at each other, blocking one another successful as Honey began to feel weaker due to the accident. Victoria managed to grab Honey and throw her towards the tree when a large russet wolf appeared from the woods catching her with his own body to lessen the impact. Following the wolf were four more, they growled at Victoria. "You'll die with her, Honey Parker," Victoria warned before running off, the pack following.

Honey whimpered when she moved, her head was swarming in pain and Jacob was quick to steady her. She leaned back against the tree while Jacob slipped into the woods to phase back and pull on some shorts that were stashed all over the woods. "Hey, hey... you'll be okay," Jacob whispered in assurance, he knelt down by her and gently moved her head to look at the bleeding wound. "You heal, don't you?" Jacob asked softly. "Depends on the wound," Honey answered as she looked up at Jacob, his tense stature tightened at her words. "I'll be okay, Jake. Grab my phone and call for help," Honey said to Jacob, he was hesitant to leave her but knew he had to call for help.

With Honey's phone in hand, Jacob called 911 to inform them of the accident. Honey pushed herself up off of the ground and stumbled towards the car, she opened the passenger door and placed her hands on Bella's face. "Bells, are you okay?" Honey asked Bella who was blinking her eyes open, however, she seemed to look over Honey's shoulder at something that only she could see. "I'm sorry..." Bella breathed out before closing her eyes, she leaned back in the seat and took steady breaths. When help arrived including an ambulance, they had to rush Angela into the hospital as the girl hadn't woken up and she was bleeding badly from her head. Jessica was okay aside from the clearly broken wrist she had, they took her in to the hospital as well.

A paramedic was cleaning Bella up as Charlie finally arrived to the scene, he rushed over to Bella to make sure she was okay. Jacob was informing an officer about his involvement, explaining he had been on a run when he heard the crash and came running to help only to find his friends were the ones involved. Honey had just finished giving an officer her statement, she had explained that an animal came out of nowhere causing Angela to swerve and slide on the icy roads into the tree. Honey's head felt light but she refused treatment, she knew that was stupid and the point was proven when the world seemed to spin before she fainted and hit the pavement.

Rosemary Speaks. . .

Not gonna lie... originally wasn't going to have the accident involved but... it wrote itself in and I don't mind it. It shows that parts of Honey are still human and with such limited information about hybrids in this world, I feel like I could do just about anything with it.

Victoria wants both Bella and Honey dead, what do you all think about that?
