"Disoriented." Rick deadpanned.

It was after dark, everyone had settled down and huddled around a small fire and listened to Rick's story.

"I guess that comes closest. Disoriented." Rick explained. He had Carl under his arm and Lori sitting close to him.

"Disoriented."

Everyone listened with blank stares and faces.

Maia however was sat next to Giselle as she braided her little sisters hair and Anthony sat next to them.

They were listening to the story intently, it seemed unreal to be living in what the world is now.

"Fear, confusion, all those things but...Disoriented comes closest." Rick spoke again and Maia had finished braiding Luna's hair.

Luna smiled up at her sister.

"I'll be back." Maia spoke below a whisper and got up to walk towards, Anthony and Luna's tent.

Anthony's gaze followed his sister's footsteps towards the tent and he whispered something to Luna before standing up.

Maia sighed to herself as she opened up the tent and looked around before she seemingly gave up and sat on the ground.

She was exhausted.

She scanned around the tent, small rays of light coming through the tent, coming from the moon.

She found a backpack, that held a sweater of hers she left in Luna's small backpack.

She sighed in a sense of relief, her clothes smelt like sewerage water. So the perfume smelling sweater was a step up from a bloody T-shirt and sewerage water leather jacket.

She took it out of the backpack and closed the tent "door" and took off her shirt and leather jacket before replacing it with the sweater.

"Knock, Knock." A voice echoed from outside the tent. "Just open the tent dumbass." Maia chuckled tiredly in return and Anthony peeked his head through.

"Oh, see you made a step up from your sewerage shirt." Anthony opened the tent and walked in, you could see Luna by the fire, playing with her new braids and glanced at the tent.

"And thank fuck." Maia sighed as gazed up at her twin brother, she looked outside, the others around the fire.

Maia tilted her head when she caught her sisters gaze.

Luna waved at her sister with a wide smile which Maia returned and went out the tent slightly before waving her sister over.

Glenn glanced at Maia who glanced back at him as she waved over Luna.

He kept his eyes on her and admired her smile subconsciously.

She was first to break eye contact, which didn't last long, as Luna made her way to the tent and allowed her to step inside.

"I see you saved my sweater." Maia smiled at Luna scooting over and allowed Luna to sit down.

Luna's eyes lit up and she smiled widely.

"Yeah, I noticed you dropped it by the side of the car before I ran, I took it and stuffed it in my backpack." Luna explained and Anthony snickered.

"What?" Luna asked confused at her brothers snicker. "You do such nice things for Maia, what about me?" Anthony asked in false offence and put a hand over his heart.

"I do nice things for you!" Luna laughed defensively and Maia shushed her slightly whilst laughing softly.

"Oh really huh? like what?" Anthony crossed his arms across his chest playfully.

"Just yesterday I found you a lily, also where is it now hm?" Luna now mocked him by crossing her arms across her chest.

Anthony raised his eyebrows and his eyes widened and Maia laughed.

"Stupid bitch, you lost her lily." Maia hit his arm playfully, laughing, before turning to Luna.

"Do not repeat that." Maia pointed to Luna who laughed. "Repeat what? Bitch?" Luna replied and her two siblings had their jaws dropped.

"Lu!" Maia and Anthony exclaimed in shock as the little girl swore.

Luna just laughed and the two older siblings laughed along with her, Maia reached over to her sister.

"Luna, I told you not to repeat it!" Maia spoke playfully before tickling her sister, her erupting with laughter and Anthony shushing her.

"I missed you so much." Maia tickled Luna and laughed softly at the girls laughter. As Anthony watched his two sisters with a small smile.

Maia stopped tickling her sister and laughed softly as Luna calmed down.

Anthony looked at Maia and put a hand over his heart.

"What about me?" Anthony asked as if he was offended and Maia rolled her eyes. "Yeah, Yeah I missed you too." Maia spoke in an unimpressed tone before making eye contact with her brother and smiling.

"Bitch." Anthony hit his sister playfully on the arm and the two girls laughed softly.

"You're calling me a bitch? you were the one that went to your Ex girlfriends house to see if she was okay and not staying with your family like we asked you to." Maia sighed and Anthony's jaw dropped.

"I went to check up on Vicki and Tyler." Anthony crossed his arms across his chest. "What? Her and that bitchass son?" Maia replied and Luna covered her mouth trying to refrain from laughing.

"Hey, I actually liked Vicki, I wanted to help her." Anthony sighed and Maia scoffed at his reply. "And where is she now?" Maia tilted her head.

Anthony stayed quiet.

"Dead, thank you very much." He spoke softly and Maia hummed in response. "And thank god for that." Maia raised her eyes as she muttered before earning a slap on the arm.

"Asshole." She muttered and put a hand on her arm. "Plus the baby wasn't even yours." Maia shrugged and Anthony sighed now getting annoyed.

"We don't know that." Anthony tried to defend. "Jesus Christ, I saw her in bed with Demarco, asshole, it's his baby!" Maia exclaimed and rolled her eyes.

"Fine maybe it wasn't my baby." Anthony sighed and Maia looked at him confused. "You should be goddamn relieved it's not your baby, you would've been stuck with an ugly ass son." Maia shrugged and Anthony gave her a look.

"Hey, hey, I'm sorry. Okay, I'm surprised you didn't get AIDS just being in the same room with her." Maia spoke to Anthony with Luna sitting in between them.

"What's AIDs?" Luna asked. "Don't worry." Anthony sat patting her shoulder and gave Maia a glare.

"Oh come on she was pregnant with someone else's baby, she was bound to the title of 'shitty girlfriend'." Maia sighed.

"Look, I know she was some first love type shit but you need to get over her, be glad that that baby wasn't yours. You already have enough shit and thank fuck you didn't get syphilis." Maia pat him on the shoulder Luna looked confused as Anthony then caught the 8 year old's confused gaze and Maia followed his eyeline.

"Don't. Don't ask." Maia and Anthony spoke shaking their heads. "But now I wanna ask more." Luna tilted her head. "Just don't." Maia sighed.

"Remember in highschool when you fake dated Harry to fuck his sister?" Anthony laughed and Maia put a hand over his mouth. "There is a child in the room dipshit."

Anthony laughed and then spit on her hand and she immediately took her hand away from his mouth.

"Ew! what the hell!" Maia exclaimed and wiped her hand on Anthony's flannel. "Dick." She muttered and Luna snorted softly.

"What's so funny?" Maia smiled softly as she looked at Luna who had a mischievous smile on her face. "Nothing." Luna smiled and Maia laughed.

"You're such a little mischievous dummy." Maia laughed softly and Anthony and Luna laughed along with her.

"I missed you dipshits so much." Maia spoke softly and she leaned on her elbows and Anthony smiled softly.

"We missed you too." Anthony spoke softly and smiled as Luna scooted closer to Maia. "He cried, that's how much he missed you." Luna spoke and laughed softly.

"That was supposed be between us." Anthony deadpanned to his little sister and Maia laughed.

"Aw, you were crying for your twin sister." Maia fake pouted and Anthony pushed her shoulder with a smile.

"Shut up." He muttered with a smile and Maia chuckled softly. "Maybe I did possibly cry." Anthony shrugged and Maia rolled her eyes.

"Such a crybaby." Maia joked and Luna laughed softly which caused Anthony to look at Luna with a raised eyebrow.

"Like you didn't cry?" Anthony looked at Luna who stopped laughing. "I did, but at least I didn't hide it." Luna tried to defend herself and Maia shook her head.

"You too are both losers." Maia moved towards the tents "door" and crawled out of it. "I'm cold as shit, you guys coming with me or not?" Maia stood up and dusted off her pants.

"Yeah, we're coming." Luna smiled and got out next. "That's what she said." Anthony followed and Maia hit him before laughing quietly.

"Shut up." Maia tried to hide a laugh. "It was funny you have to admit?" Anthony stood up and Luna walked to sit down at the fire again.

"No, it was average." Maia smiled. "Yeah, you know those words all to well." Anthony joked and Maia hit him.

"Fuck off at least i can make it happen." Maia laughed softly when Anthony's jaw dropped and she walked towards the fire.

Glenn looked up and saw Maia's smile before it faded as she sat down next to Luna who layed her head in Maia's lap.

Eddie, Carols husband, stood up and threw a log onto the fire.

Maia stared as the man got up, she got bad vibes from this guy.

"Hey, Ed, you want to rethink that log?" Shane piped up and everyone moved their gaze towards Eddie. "It's cold man." Eddie replied sitting back down.

"The cold don't change the rules, does it?" Shane asked Eddie again. Everyone watched the conversation carefully, Luna snuggled up to Maia who tucked a piece of loose hair behind Luna's ear.

Maia looked between the two men.

"Keep our fires low, just embers, so we can't be seen from a distance right?" Shane added and Eddie piped up again. "I said it's cold. You should mind your own business for once."

Shane stood up and walked towards Eddie, Maia looked at Anthony with a look before staring towards the conversation.

"Hey, Ed...Sure you want to have this conversation, man?" Shane asked quietly and Ed scoffed. "Go on. Pull the damn thing out. Go on!" Ed raised his voice slightly and Carol got up off her camp chair quickly.

"Christ." Shane muttered and Carol pulled the log out of the fire and Maia glared slightly at the man who ordered his wife.

Anthony and Maia both glared Ed's way before he caught their gaze's.

"Got a problem?" Ed asked the two. "No, just your attitude." Maia spoke softly with a glare and the groups eyes wondered to Maia who spoke up.

"Excuse me?" Ed asked his voice getting louder. "You don't speak down to your wife like that." Maia replied with an unimpressed glare.

"I can talk to my wife however I damn want to." Ed tried standing up before Shane sat him back down. "No." Shane spoke and gave Maia a subtle look and she shrugged.

She gained glances from the rest of the group and she sat and held her sisters hand and Anthony whispered in Maia's ear.

"You just got here don't act on every bad thing." Anthony whispered and Maia gave him an annoyed look, she didn't dare to reply, she was tired and aggravated.

She allowed herself to yawn quietly as she leaned her head on Anthony's shoulder.

The small conversation between Carol and Shane was being paid attention to by the others as Maia just tuned it out.

"Have you given any thought to Daryl Dixon?" Dale started. "He won't be happy to hear his brother was left behind." the man finished.

"I'll tell him. I dropped the key. It's on me." T-dog piped up and Maia glanced at the man who gave her a slight smile.

"I cuffed him. That makes it mine." Rick replied and looked at Maia who yawned. "Don't look at me, I just punched the asshole so you could cuff him." Maia spoke tired and then Glenn piped up.

"Guys this isn't a competition, I don't mean to bring race into this but might sound better coming from the white guy." Glenn spoke up and looked at T-dog who sighed.

"I did what I did." T-dog started. "Hell, If I'm gonna hide from him." T-dog was interrupted by Amy.

"We could lie." Amy piped up and Izarella sighed. "Or we could just tell the truth straight up." Izarella piped up and Andrea added.

"Merle was out of control, something had to be done or he'd have gotten us killed. Your husband did what was necessary." Andrea looked at Lori as she said the last sentence and Maia rolled her eyes.

"And if Merle got left behind, it is nobody's fault but Merle's." Andrea sighed. "And that's what we tell Daryl?" Dale started in disbelief.

"I don't see a rational discussion to be had from that, do you?" Dale spoke up.

"Obviously it won't be a rational conversation, who wants to hear that their brother got left on a roof and could possibly be dead." Anthony sighed as Maia's head was on his shoulder.

"Word to the wise..." Dale trailed off. "We're gonna have our hands full when he gets back from his hunt." He ended his explanation.

"I was scared and I ran. I'm not ashamed of it." T-dog wiped his nose and admitted.

"We were all scared. We all ran. What's your point?" Andrea asked tiredly.

"I stopped long enough to chain that door. Staircase is narrow, maybe half a dozen geeks can squeeze against it at any one time, it's not enough to break through that...Not that chain, not that padlock." T-dog explained.

"My point, Dixon's alive and he's still up there, handcuffed on that roof. That's on us." T-dog stood up and walked away from the group surrounding the fire.

After a little bit the group conversed on different topics at a time. However Maia was struggling to keep her eyes open.

She was leaning her head on Anthony's shoulder not to fall asleep.

Izarella laughed as she looked at Maias tired eyes.

"You look exhausted, Jesus." Izarella laughed softly. "Well, four days in a tank can't do you much good can it?" Maia smiled and Rosalyn tilted her head.

"You were in a tank for four days?" Rosalyn tilted her head. "Yeah, it was crap, don't recommend at all. The only entertainment I had was officer fox and friends hitting his head on a bar." Maia smiled at Rick who rolled his eyes whilst the rest laughed.

"Mai, I have a question." Izarella turned to Maia who looked at her with an expectant expression. "Mm?" Maia hummed tiredly.

"Don't you remember Glenn?" Izarella asked Maia who lifted her head off of Anthony's shoulder. "What?" Maia asked with a confused expression.

"Glenn?" Izarella turned to Glenn and he looked at the ground. "Yeah?" He asked before he glanced at Maia.

"You remember Maia, don't you?" Izarella asked Glenn with a slight smile. "Oh, uh, yeah." He stuttered and Maia tilted her head.

"What?" Maia asked just as confused again before Anthony sighed. "Highschool, Mai, he was my friend in highschool." Anthony explained to his very tired sister.

"Oh my god, gaming nerd." Maia realized. "You were the Glenn, Anthony always went to hang out with to play resident evil." Maia explained.

"I don't know how I didn't remember you?" Maia's eyebrows furrowed. Izarella smiled in a sort of victory before leaning to Rosalyn and whispered something in her ear.

"Why didn't you tell me you recognised me?" Maia asked Glenn who looked at her with an awkward look.

"Uh, because I didn't know if you remembered me, which you didn't." Glenn replied in a slight stutter. The others had gone to their tents and only the Koa siblings, The Rhee siblings and The Ramírez family stayed behind.

"Well, nice to see you again Glenn, I'm gonna go pass the fuck out now guys." Maia lifted Luna's head off her lap and put it on Anthony's lap so she could stand up.

"Goodnight, guys." Maia sighed tiredly before she felt Glenn's eyes on her. "You look different you know?" Maia tilted her head at Glenn.

"I do?" He asked confused. "Yeah, you look...nicer." Maia tried to put into words and Glenn chuckled slightly.

"Well, night guys, Ant, I'll see you in the tent alright?" She turned to her brother who nodded before she walked off towards the tent where she opened the small entrance and then got ready for a nights sleep.

Hey guys!
Chapter five is now out, this is kind of ass but we love wholesome content. Glenn and Maia were in highschool together?!?!
I will get into that in the next chapters don't worry, everything will make sense.
I love Maia and her siblings together it's so cute and chaotic.
