It was a normal day for you and your family. Your mum was cooking breakfast for you and your younger sister Megan. Your father was reading a letter from Steve, probably someone from work. You were playing with your sister until your mother came out from the kitchen. Your father, Edward Anthony Stark, works in the Ministry of Magic with his friend, but sometimes rival, Lucius Malfoy.

Your father was from a wealthy pure-blood wizarding family. The Starks were known for their intelligence, heritage, and traditionally sorted into Slytherin. Even your ancestors' wives and husbands were in Slytherin. However, it changed when Howard Stark, your grandfather, married your grandmother, Maria Carbonell, a Gryffindor, while your father married Vivian Potts, a Hufflepuff.

Your grandmother was half-blood. Her family wasn't really famous but it was respected. Her family was mixed with Ravenclaw and Gryffindor traits.

Although Starks were inclined to blood-purity, your family did not practice inbreeding and was allowed to marry half-bloods, unlike the other wizarding families.

"Sweethearts, breakfast is ready!" Your mother called out. You and Megan grinned and raced towards the diner room. You helped Megan to sit on her chair then finally you sat on your own chair.

"You don't need to help me to my chair, (Y/n)." Megan giggled as she sliced her bread and started eating it.

"I just want to help, Meg." You shrugged and stuffed some sliced bread in your mouth.

You inherited your father's wits but Megan had it more. Perhaps it was because of your grandmother's family. Your younger sister knew more about history and music and would always stay by the library to read about your family's ancestors.

Your father soon joined you, your sister, and your mother at the table. "Yum! Vivian? Do you have cold water?" Your father asked, smiling.

"Yes, dear. Hang on." You heard your mum said.

"Who did the letter came from,Β dad?" Megan asked as she took another pancake.

"Your uncle. Steve." Your father smiled and got some bread. "He asked me something about work, no biggie."

Stark, a name that is famous to all. One of the famous and richest pure-blood families in the wizarding world together with the Malfoy family.

Your father, Edward Stark, was friends with Lucius Malfoy since they are both working for the Ministry of Magic. Your family and his family were close friends but you haven't met Lucius' only son, Draco Malfoy.

Only your younger sister, Megan Stark, met Draco Malfoy.

She described him as a slender boy with sleek white-blond hair, cold grey eyes. His blonde hair slicked tightly back. Megan thinks he's handsome too. You wondered how cold his grey eyes were since Megan described them as if you could freeze once you stared at them.

After you and your family were done with breakfast, your father played with your sister while you helped your mother, Vivian, to the dishes. Even though you have a house-elf, you still wanted to do the chores.

Your house-elf was Darcy and you became friends with her too. Just a few months ago, Darcy became friends with the Malfoys' house-elf, Dobby.

Once you were done helping your mother, you went to your room and grabbed your favorite book. You went back to the living room and started reading as your parents played with Megan. You were lost in your fantasy world until you heard a faint noise outside. You looked up from your book to find an owl heading towards the window. As your eyes squinted to see clearly what was the owl was carrying, a smile formed on your face when you recognized what it was. "Mum! Dad! Letter!"

"Letter?" Your dad asked. "Today is Sunday." He stood up and walked towards the window to open it. The owl arrived and placed the letter down to your father's hand before flying away.

You ran towards your father and looked up at him. "What is it?"

"A letter from work."

You frowned. "Oh. I thought it was..."

Your father smirked. "I'm kidding, pumpkin. It's the letter from Hogwarts."

Your sister squealed while you grinned.

"Congratulations sweetie!" Vivian cheered as she picked you up in her arms, kissing your cheeks.

As your whole family celebrated, you wondered what house you were going to be placed in. Your father was sorted to Slytherin while your mother was in Hufflepuff. Your sister will soon attend Hogwarts next year. You knew you might get sorted to Slytherin or Hufflepuff but you were curious if you were going to be sorted to a different house like Gryffindor or Ravenclaw.

"Time to pack your things!" Your mother announced.

You looked for your wand in the Diagon Alley and finally got it. Your wand was 11 inches long and made of holly with a phoenix feather core. Just as you got out of the shop and thanked Garrick Ollivander, you noticed a boy with white-blond hair, with his father talking to your family. While approaching them, you found your sister carrying a cage containing your owl, Frigga.

"Ah!" The long-haired man exclaimed. "What a pretty girl you are (Y/n)."

You smiled timidly. "Th-Thank you..."

The man placed his hand on his son's shoulder and smile. "I believe you two haven't met yet. (Y/n) this is my son, Draco."

Draco smirked and offered a handshake to you. "Malfoy. Draco Malfoy."

You accepted his handshake and gave him a small smile. "(Y/n). (Y/n) Stark."

Once you two were done with the handshake, Draco walked away to return to his father's side while Megan tiptoed and whispered to your ear, "told you he is handsome."

You rolled your eyes with a smile as you slightly nudged Megan off. "Oh, bugger off." You looked down at your sister who's smiling widely. "Do you fancy him?" You whispered teasingly.

Megan gasped before sticking her tongue out in disgust. "No." She denied. "I just said he was handsome. He's all yours for all I care."

"I'm gonna miss you, you big fart." Your sister teared up and hugged you while you hugged back and smiled. You pulled away when Megan gave you your pet owl.

"No boyfriend and no kissing first." Your father warned causing your mother to nudge him. "What? Our daughter is still a baby girl."

"Oh shush yourself." Your mother laughed. She kissed the top of your head and smiled. "You'll do great at Hogwarts. Whatever house you are in, it doesn't matter for us. As long as you're okay, we're good."

You nodded and hugged your mother.

"Oh come on, kid. Don't forget your old man." You heard Edward whined. You looked at him and quickly walked towards him and hugged him. "I love you 3000." He whispered, kissing your cheek.

You pulled away and smiled. "I love you too, dad."

You entered the train and waved goodbye to your family. You looked for compartments and saw Draco with two other boys. He waved at you and you waved back before continuing your search for compartments and finally saw one. Two boys looked at you. One was a black-haired boy with broken glasses while the other one was a ginger-haired who was eating a lot of sweets.

"Hi." You greeted with a small smile. "Can I sit with you guys? All of the compartments are full."

"Sure." The black-haired boy nodded and smiled. You sat in front of him and the ginger-haired boy who just stopped eating sweets when you entered.

"You want some?" The ginger-haired boy asked politely, offering you a chocolate frog.

You smiled and nodded. "Yes. Thank you." You took it and ate the chocolate.

"I'm Ron by the way. Ron Weasley." The ginger-head boy introduced as he stuffed more sweets in his mouth.

"And I'm Harry Potter." The black-haired boy introduced himself while smiling. You widened your eyes and almost choked.

You've heard stories about Harry Potter. The boy who lived. You felt sad for him when his parents died because of You-Know-Who. Your father was amazed when he learned that Harry Potter was able to survive the Killing Curse.

"Blimey! You're Harry Potter!" You grinned. "I'm (Y/n) Stark."

Ron widened his eyes and almost dropped his sweets. "You're a Stark?! Your family is famous and rich like the Malfoys!"

You smiled shyly. "Well yeah. But I don't care about those. Especially when it comes to blood purity."

"Me too." Ron smiled. "Anyway, my brother told me a spell to make Scabbers yellow. Do you want to see it?"

You and Harry nodded. Ron pulled out his wand and raised it. "Sun--"

He stopped when a brown-haired girl stopped by the compartment and was looking for something. She sighed in defeat. "Have anyone seen a toad?" The girl asked. "A boy named Neville lost one."

Ron shook his head. "No."

The girl's eyes widened as she noticed Ron with a wand in his hand, ready to perform a spell. "Oh! Are you doing magic?" She asked with a smile. "Let's see them."

Ron cleared his throat. "Sunshine, Daisies, Butter Mellow, Make this stupid rat yellow." He waved his arm to a rat on his lap, who's eating. The poor rat jumped off and ran off to his pocket. Ron looked at Harry in confusion but Harry just shrugged.

"Are you sure that's a real spell?" The brown-haired girl asked with a smile. "Well, it's no very good, is it?" She took a seat just beside you and brought out her own wand.

"Show us what spell you know then," Ron said as he put back his wand to his pocket.

You watched as the girl turned to Harry and pointed her wand at him. He widened his eyes. "For example. Oculus Reparo."

Harry's glasses are fixed with one simple spell. Ron widened his eyes, extremely impressed. Harry took off his glasses and examined them. They were repaired!

"That's better, isn't it?" You asked earning a nod from a stunned Harry who put his glasses back after he was done observing them.

The messy-haired girl softly gasped once she recognized who the boy was. "Holy cricket! You're Harry Potter!" The girl exclaimed. "I'm Hermione Granger." Hermione introduced. She turned to you and smiled. "How about you?"

"(Y/n) Stark." You introduced with a small wave. Hermione smiled in return before turning to Ron and slightly frowning. "And you are?"

"Um... Ron Weasley." The ginger boy replied with sweets stuffed in his mouth.

"Pleasure," Hermione replied. She turned to Harry. "You two better change into robes."

"Why?" Harry asked.

"I believe we are almost to our destination." She said with a smile. She stood up and was about to leave but stopped then looked at Ron.

"You've got dirt on your nose by the way." Said Hermione. She pointed to the stop where the dirt is on Ron's nose. Ron wiped it off as Hermione looked at you and smiled. You smiled back then she walked away.
