You walked inside Lupin's office back at the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. You closed the door behind you and stand from afar. "Is there something you need, professor?"

Lupin gestured you to sit which you obliged. "The boggart... I am not going to lie but... it was quite disturbing. Are you alright, Ms. Stark?"

You shook your head as you looked down at your hands. "Just... troubled, I suppose. I got a lot of things on my mind right now, sir."

"You can talk to me, (Y/n)," Lupin replied as he sat down on his own chair. "Are you scared that your fear might come true?"

You clenched your fists onto the sleeves of your robes. "And what if it did?"

Lupin sighed. "We are not sure of what will happen in the future. But I assure you, Edward Stark is quite a strong wizard. He was an excellent student as well."

You looked up to him. "You knew him?"

"Oh, boy, I do. He was a menace but bearable at most times. He's a genius as well. Just give him a tablecloth and some wooden sticks, he could create something extraordinary."

"He once created something out of a plastic bag, hairpins, and a paper." You chuckled. "Sometimes, I still wonder how he did it."

"Oh, I remember him making something to impress his girl. I even remember him making a potion to annoy Lucius."

You stared at him in surprise. "Really?"

"Edward and Lucius were both Slytherins but they were rivals." Lupin explained as he stood up and roamed around his office. "Starks and Malfoys were known to be enemies. But there are times that Edward and Lucius managed to be friends. You could say that sometimes they're friends and sometimes they're enemies."

Lupin turned around and approached you. "I even remember Edward Stark winning multiple times whenever he fights with Lucius Malfoy." He slightly laughed. "Look, what I'm saying is your father is quite capable of protecting himself. And if he dies, all we can do is give him honor and remember him."

He patted your shoulder and smiled. "Just spend your time with your family once in a while. Try not to overthink it that much."

You nodded and stood up. "Thank you, professor."

"Now remember, these visits to Hogsmeade Village are a privilege. McGonagall reminded students who were crowding together in the center of the courtyard. "Should your behavior reflect poorly on the school in any way that privilege shall not be extended again."

Harry stepped forward and gave the permission slip to McGonagall. "No permission form signed, no visiting to the village," McGonagall spoke, looking at Harry sadly. "That's the rule, Potter."

"Those with permission, follow me." Filch spoke up as he descended from the stairs. "And those without, stay put."

Students followed Filch while you, Hermione, and Ron stayed to wait for Harry.

"But, professor, I just thought if you could sign it, then I could--" Harry tried to reason with her but McGonagall shook her head.

"I can't." McGonagall sighed. "Only a parent or a guardian can sign. Since I'm neither, it would be inappropriate." She started to walk away but stopped and faced Harry and placed her hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry, Potter. That's my final word."

She started walking away and followed some students. Harry groaned in frustration and looked at you, Hermione, and Ron. "Forget it guys. See you later." He turned his back and walked away.

You and Hermione sighed while Ron just looked at Harry sadly. The three of you followed the other students, Professor McGonagall, and Filch.

Hermione glanced back to see Harry standing and waved goodbye at him. Harry smiled and waved back. He then turned around and walked away.

"I feel bad for Harry," You told Hermione. "This could've been our first Hogsmeade with him."

Hermione nodded. "True."

"Say, let's just give him some gifts!" Ron suggested, smiling. "Sweets and more!"

You smiled. "Sounds wonderful, Ronald."

"Honeyduke's Sweetshop is brilliant!" Ron exclaimed as the four of you ascended the stairs to go to the Gryffindor Common Room. You, Hermione, and Ron just got back from Hogsmeade and gave Harry some sweets. "But nothing beats Zonko's Joke Shop. We never get the chance to go to the Shrieking Shack, though. You heard that it's the most--"

"Haunted building in Britain. I know." Harry then noticed something odd and saw students were crowded at the entrance to our Common Room. "What's going on?" He asked.

"Probably Neville's forgotten the password again." Ron sighed.

"Hey!" You heard Neville exclaimed. You and your friends turned around to spot Neville just behind. You let out a soft chuckle.

"Oh," Ron gasped. "You're there."

"Let me through, please. Excuse me! I'm Head Boy!" Percy exclaimed, pushing his way out of the crowd to see what was going on. He stared at the scratched painting. "Get back, all of you. No one is going to enter this dormitory until has been fully searched.

Ginny came down the stairs to meet you and your friends. "The Fat Lady!" She exclaimed. "She's gone!"

The four of you looked at each other before turning to the painting. You and your friends stepped forward and saw it was scratched.

"Serves her right. She's a terrible singer." Ron teased causing Hermione to smack his arm. "Ow!"

"It's not funny, Ron." Hermione scolded before getting her attention back to the painting.

The other paintings were panicking as conversations and warnings overlapped together.

"Make way!" You heard someone yelled. Harry pulled you to his side as the students made way for Dumbledore and Filch to get through. "The headmaster's here."Β

Dumbledore stared at the damaged painting while Filch turned around to look at the paintings. Dumbledore observed the painting. "Mr. Filch, round up the ghosts," Dumbledore ordered. "Tell them to search every painting in the castle to find the Fat Lady."

"There's no need for ghosts, professor." Filch pointed to a painting. "The Fat Lady's there."

Students started to run towards the painting including you and your friends, ignoring Percy's yells. "Dear lady, who did this to you?" Dumbledore asked the painting. The Fat Lady came out from her hiding spot and was cowering in fear, her face was covered in dirt.

"Eyes like the devil, he's got. And a soul as dark as his name." The Fat Lady cried. "It's him, headmaster. The one they all talk about. He's here, somewhere in the castle. Sirius Black!" She screamed in fear and hid again.

Dumbledore turned to Filch. "Secure the castle, Mr. Filch." The headmaster turned to the students crowding at the stairs. "The rest of you, to the Great Hall."

You were sitting beside Ron as you two talked about the sweets in Honeydukes. "What is your favorite in there?" You asked Ron.

"Well, I--"

He was cut off when Snape abruptly came inside the classroom, pointing his wand at the windows causing them to shut close.

You stared at him in surprise. 'Wait. Why is Snape here?'

He pulled a string causing a white screen to appear. "Turn to page 394."

All of you turned your books to page 394. Snape walked around until Harry talked to him. "Excuse me, sir." Snape stopped in his tracks and looked at him. "Where's Professor Lupin?"

"That's not really your concern, is it, Potter?" Snape asked in his monotone voice. He sighed and continued to walk. "Suffice it to say that your Professor Lupin finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time. Turn to page 394."

Snape tapped his wand to turn on the projector. You looked at Ron who was slowly turning the pages. Snape noticed this and annoyingly point his wand to Ron's book, turning the paged to 394. "Werewolves?"

"But sir," Hermione appeared out of nowhere and spoke up causing Harry to flinch in surprise since she was just sitting beside him. "We just began learning about red caps and hinkypunks. We're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks."

"Quiet." Snape hushed.

"When did she come in?" Ron asked you. You shrugged so Ron turned to Harry. "Did you see her come in?" Harry shook his head and looked at Hermione.

"Now, which one of you can tell me the difference between an Animagus and a werewolf?" Snape asked as he walked forward to the screen. Hermione raised her hand but Snape ignored her. "No one? How disappointing."

"Please sir," Hermione spoke. "An Animagus is a wizard who elects to turn into an animal. A werewolf has no choice." She continued to explain and you just watched her. "With each full moon, when he transforms, he no longer remembers who he is. He'd kill his best friend if he crossed his path. Furthermore, the werewolf only responds to the call of its own kind."

Draco suddenly howled causing you to flinch in surprise. "Awoooo!" He snickered while Crabbe cackled.

"Thank you, Mr. Malfoy." Snape glared as he turned his attention back to Hermione. "That is the second time you have spoken out of turn, Ms. Granger." Snape stepped forward as he lectured Hermione. "Tell me, are you incapable of restraining yourself, or do you take pride in being an insufferable know-it-all?"

Ron leaned in and whispered in your ear. "He's got a point, you know." You glared at him and nudged him to the side. "Not helping, Ronald." You whispered.

"Five points from Gryffindor," Snape stated and continued talking. On the corner of your eye, you noticed Stacey, who was seating behind Draco, created a paper crane and blew it, causing it to fly towards you. You caught it and looked at Stacey and so did Harry. Stacey smirked and glared at you. Harry turned to you but you just shrugged.Β

"As an antidote to your ignorance and on my desk, by Monday morning two rolls of parchment on the werewolf with particular emphasis on recognizing it." You looked down at the paper crane and were about to unfold it, but as soon as you heard Snape discussing about giving an essay, you groaned in frustration.

"Sir, it's Quidditch tomorrow," Harry complained.

Snape leaned forward to Harry and glared. "Then I suggest you take extra care, Mr. Potter. Loss of limb will not excuse you." He stood straight again and glanced at Harry. "Page 394."

Once Snape was out of sight and started explaining what a werewolf is, you unfolded the crane and saw a drawing. You glanced at Stacey who was now listening to Snape.

You looked back down at the drawing and saw a doodle of yourself and your father. The doodle was crying and the doodle of your father was laying on the ground covered with blood everywhere. You winced at the sight and quickly crumpled the paper, clenching your fists.

'First of all, how dare she draw like this? Second, she's mental. Third, she's horrible at drawing.'

"(Y/n)?" Ron asked, placing his hand on your back in worry. "Are you alright?"

You took a deep breath and nodded. "Yeah, Ron. Thanks."

Then you saw another flying crane. It landed on your desk gracefully so you looked around from who it came from. You shoved the crumpled paper into your pocket and looked at the paper crane, unfolding it. It was a doodle of a guy asking if you were okay.

A smile formed on your lips. You looked around again but no one looked back at you. You observed the drawing and noticed the doodle's hair. Your eyes widened and you looked up to Draco who was busy writing notes.Β

Draco looked away from his notes and noticed you looking. He spotted the note he gave you and he looked back at you. You smiled at him while he gave you a nod.

You were about to fold the crane back until you noticed another drawing at the back of the paper. You flipped the piece of paper and found a small sketch of you listening to the discussion.

And you swore your heart just skipped a beat.
