You sighed in frustration, running your fingers through your hair, and walking towards the carriages with Hermione, Ron, and Harry. You noticed Harry looking at the distance causing you to look at where he was looking at. You saw him looking at Cho Chang and the Ravenclaw girl was looking back at him. Cho and her friends' carriage started driving away.

"Hi, guys." You heard Neville greeting. You were the only one who glanced at him and spotted him carrying a plant in a small pot. "Hello, Neville." The four of you said in unison.

Harry sighed and shook his head. You didn't want to interfere but you preferred Harry and Ginny to end up together. You just needed to help the girl to approach Harry.

You and Harry looked at the last carriage and saw a creature. It looks like a horse but different. You and Harry exchanged looks then looked back at the creature. "What is it?" You asked.

Ron looked at you confusingly. "What's what?"

"That," Harry said as he pointed at the reptilian-like horse. "Pulling the carriage."

Hermione furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head. "Nothing's pulling the carriage, Harry. It's pulling itself like always."

You and Harry walked around the carriage where a girl was already seated. She was reading a magazine which was covering her face.

"You're not going mad." She lowered her magazine, The Quibbler, which she has been reading upside down. "I can see them too. You're just as sane as I am."

You quickly noticed who she was. Luna Lovegood. The girl that Megan introduced to you last year. Luna smiled sweetly at you. "Hello, (Y/n)."

You smiled in return. "Hi." You greeted back as you climbed up on the carriage and sat beside her. On your other side was Ron who was facing Hermione. On your front was Harry and beside him was Neville.

"Everyone, this is Loony Love--" Hermione stopped herself, realizing her mistake. You shot a small glare at her causing her to inhale sharply.

"Luna Lovegood." You corrected as you tore your eyes off of Hermione and looked at Luna. Hermione looked away, ashamed of what she just said. You looked at a butterbeer cork necklace that's on Luna's neck. "Nice necklace." You commented.

Luna looked down at her necklace. "It's a charm, actually." She looked at all of you and leaned closer to Neville and Harry. "Keeps away the Nargles."

Neville blinked in confusion but he moved away for a bit uncomfortably. Harry's just looking at her.

"Hungry," Luna said. "I hope there's pudding."

You smiled and nodded. "There will be."

The carriages moved and you heard Ron whispered to Hermione. "What's a Nargle?"

"No idea," Hermione whispered back.

You stared in front flabbergasted. 'Is it just me or am I really seeing a pink toad in front who just rudely interrupted Dumbledore?'

Dumbledore had announced that Professor Grubbly-Plank has returned to teach Care of Magical Creatures while Hagrid was on temporary leave. He had welcomed the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher which was, of course, Dolores Umbridge. Dumbledore was stating some reminders until Dolores Umbridge cleared her throat to talk and took the spotlight.

Umbridge stood up from her seat and slowly, but intimidatingly, approached the middle. Harry leaned towards you and Hermione. "She was at my hearing. She works for Fudge."

You scoffed as you dip your food into some sauce. "Well, Fudge's mental now anyway." You replied. "He needs a spy inside Hogwarts to watch Dumbledore and your moves."

Dolores Umbridge smiled brightly in front. "Thank you, headmaster, for those kind words of welcome." You cringed as you rubbed your ears and scrunched your nose in annoyance.

"And how lovely to see all your bright happy faces smiling up at me." You looked around and slightly scoffed. 'No one's smiling, lady.' You told mentally. "I'm sure we're all are going to be very good friends."

"That's likely." Fred and George whispered sarcastically.

"The Ministry of Magic has always considered the education of young witches and wizards to be of vital importance." She continued.

You frowned. "Is our safety from bad creatures like you not important?" You whispered earning a snicker from Ron who heard your question.

"Although each headmaster has brought something new to this historic school, progress for the sake of progress must be discouraged. Let us preserve what must be preserved, perfect what can be perfected, and prune practices that ought to be prohibited."

You rolled your eyes and looked down at the table as Umbridge slightly giggle and returned back to her seat. You stabbed your meal with your fork and glared at the pink lady. You didn't know why but you already hated her guts. 'If only I have a suit or a friend who can help me to kill this lady. Then maybe I could say, 'Karen, activate instant kill' immediately.' You thought to yourself

Dumbledore started speaking while you heard Filch's excitingly clapped for Umbridge's speech. "Thank you, Professor Umbridge. That really was most illuminating."

"Illuminating? What a load of waffle." Ron scoffed.

"What's it mean?" Harry asked.

Hermione and you glanced at each other before looking at Harry. "It means the Ministry's interfering at Hogwarts," Hermione explained.

You got inside the Common Room to see Seamus standing up, shoving the newspaper down, and faced Harry. "Me mum didn't want me to come back this year."

"Why not?" You asked causing Seamus to look at you.

Seamus scoffed. "Let me see..." He said sarcastically before pointing at Harry. "Because of him! The Daily Prophet's been saying a lot of things about you, Harry. And about Dumbledore as well."

"And your mum believes them?" Harry questioned.

"Well, nobody was there the night Cedric died."

"Oh, well, I guess you should read the Prophet then, like your stupid mother. It'll tell you everything you need to know." Harry snapped, gritting his teeth.

"Don't you dare talk about my mother like that!" Seamus yelled.

"I'll have a go at anyone who calls me a liar!" Harry argued back.

Ron came inside and was confused. "What's going on?" He asked in concern as he stood beside you.

"He's mad, is what's going on," Seamus answered as you and Ron stood beside Harry. "Do you believe the rubbish he's come out with about You-Know-Who?"

"Yeah. I do." Ron said simply. He turned to you and looked back at Seamus. "We do."

You looked around and crossed your arms. "Has anyone else got a problem with Harry?" You questioned.

Everyone in the Gryffindor Common Room was silent, keeping their own opinions to themselves. You turned to Harry who walked away. You gestured Ron to follow him while you looked back at everyone before sitting on the couch, pulling out a book then started reading.

"Why are you protecting Harry?" Seamus asked, walking towards you.

"Because he's not a liar. He's telling the truth." You told him, not taking your eyes off of my book.

"You didn't see how Cedric died!"

You closed your book, making a loud thud. You looked up to Seamus who seemed to be shocked but managed to keep a straight face. You stood up, the book was still in your hand and walked towards Seamus. "Yeah, I didn't. But the bullshit you read about Cedric's death as an accident is just rude and a big fat lie, Finnigan. You can't trust the Prophet all the time."

You looked around. "Try explaining how Cedric Diggory came back like any other corpses that had fallen victim from the Killing Curse." You looked down at Seamus, yes you were a bit taller than him. "So, it's really up to you who to believe. The lies that the Prophet keeps on spreading or the truth from the friend you can't trust because you're thick in the head?"

You shoved Seamus away by your shoulder and headed towards the girls' dormitories.
