"you're listening to.. bad b*tch talks!" I announce to my live stream of followers as they start commenting topics and things for me to talk about.

I read one aloud .

"My boyfriend cheated on me with my mom... so I stole his childhood dog... " I paused as the user commented more, "I renamed her and she's mine now. Do you think that was wrong?" I pause for a second, my brain slowly working and processing what I read before I let out a burst of laughter.

I stopped laughing for a second to read the comments properly. "I'm not gonna lie.. that's not the best way to go about things but to each it's own." I read a couple more comments trying to read them as best I could. I shuffled between people complimenting me and other people saying their a fan and people saying their opinions.

One comment stood out to me and I decided to start queuing up our call method of the podcast. It was rare to get people asking for actual advice but it happened every now and then.

chrisS: I kind of like this girl and I can't tell if she likes me back

I read the comment over, "Chris.. S. Would you want to set up a call so we can talk about your situation?" I asked politely. Some people decline the talking option and would rather hide behind their personas. Which I don't mind but I do with I could do the same. The live viewers on my podcast stream can see me but I can never see them.

After what happened last time. I decided to take things further with a person that was a fan of my podcast... it ended terribly. I couldn't put my trust in people like that anymore. It's been a while since that. Now my podcast is at 500K listeners and I know not to get involved with my watchers or anybody.

The line rung and I waited till Chris S spoke. It could've been a female since sometimes I know girls named Christine and males don't listen to my podcast frequently. He cleared his throat.

"Um hello?..."

"Lani speaking." I tried to smile despite the fact that I was nervous. This podcast does few things to help my anxiety. Usually I have a lot of fun though. I lean on my comments for support.

My lips quirked at the last comment I read, "the fans want to know if you're gay.." I say just to make sure he's aware of the things people are saying about him. I hate the pain that rumors can create.

He laughs quickly, "unfortunately I just find interest in this podcast. I watch every Thursday." The drop date. "And Im not gay I have a brother that is though." He admits as I nod.

It honestly feels good to have a frequent male listener and he's not gay, lucky me? No. That ended bad last time, "Well that's nice to hear. Not that your brother is gay.." I fumble as he laughs. "It's nice that you listen to me .. and watch me. I thank all my fans that do that." I change the subject.

"Yeah I like this show." He admits, "so great advice giver. I really like this girl. She doesn't know who I am and I wanna put moves on her like rizz her up." He admits faithfully as I nod my head adamantly. Comments pour in about how cute it is that he likes some girl. How they wish it was them. How he's probably cute behind the phone.

"Um well I would say be yourself." Hundreds of comments call me corny, "Then you should introduce yourself and ask for her number." I decide because I know nothing about rizz but I like when guys are upfront and casual.

He clears his throat and mumbles in agreement. "That sounds like some good enough advice..." he agrees more and I smile at the progress I made for him, "My names Chris.. I know yours Lani. My number is xxx-xxx-xxxx." He says confidently and then stays silent.

I laugh out loud as thousands of comments pour in. My face feels kind of hot and I know I shouldn't listen to stuff like this. Especially not with what happened last time. I check the comments.

I let out a small laugh, "you know you just gave 450K people your number?" I laugh again when he curses under his breath.

"Fuck. I didn't think about that... " he admits and stays silent for a minute, "Well it's only fair that you text me. Otherwise this will be a very pointless attempt at hitting on a pretty girl." I laugh for a moment and then go silent as he compliments me.

I try and hide my smile but my followers point it out. I look at the viewers 702K. Wow that's more than I've ever had. This episode is doing well.

"Well what's it gonna be? Do I get a chance?" He asks kindly but I can tell he's smirking on the other side like he's depending on me to say yes.

I smile at my comments, "They're telling me I should agree to text you." I admit, he can probably see it. The way there's now 800K people on this live. All wanting to see us together. He laughs sounding a bit nervous.

"So what will it be?" He asks as I pull my phone out and start typing to him.

Chris let's out a loud laugh as I continue it. I could get use to texting him. But I shouldn't. Not all my followers know what happened to the last guy I talked to. Only a small percentage of them but even that's huge in this business.

"I'd never cheat on you. It'd be insanely stupid." I nod my head and smile but something pricks at the back on my mind. It's bitter and insecure. And it stops me from believing this stranger completely. But it doesn't stop me from trusting him a little.

"In order to cheat we'd have to date."

"All I heard just now is "we'd have to date" I heard nothing else." He jokes.

"Wow selective hearing. I should talk slower for you maybe?"

"Yeah I think you should help me out .. say a few things."

"Like?"

"My name.. how much you love me... maybe talk about the name of our future kids." He adds confidently as I let out a loud laugh.

"Okay Chris.. I'm not sure about love but I'm sure I'm willing to name some kids." I laugh before I remember that we're talking on air. And thousands of people just heard us flirting. I clear my throat and end the call. "That was the end of ... "bad b*tch talks. Hope you guys enjoyed." I turn the stream off and let out the breath I was holding in.

It ended with 1 Million viewers. Fuck. There's no way... I get two texts to my phone.

as you can tell naelani is a black female podcaster that gives advice and at this point chris is an anonymous fan that interacts with her in order to get her number. her manager cares about her viewership because it makes money and she wants to get nae into a fake relationship. a relationship isn't what she wants.. so let's see.
