After taking the boys to their hotel room and giving them their VIP passes, Zara led the two boys to the innovation centre where they would be meeting up with Claire. The boys push open the doors and enter while Zara tried to keep up, almost not getting through the doors as they closed. People and families wandered through the building, there were interactions happening everywhere in the building. A statue of John Hammond stands tall toward the back of the building, a memorial to the man that had started it all. "Welcome to the Innovation Centre, where technology meets prehistory. Join us on an exciting journey sixty-five million years into the past," The Park Announcer's voice echoed through the room.

In the center of the lobby is a holographic platform, currently displaying a life-size projection of an Apatosaurus which roars, seemingly towards the boys due to where they stood. Announcements over the P.A from both male and female speakers continue as the boys look around at all of the various exhibits the lobby had to offer. Gray rushes over to the Mr DNA show where visitors are quizzed about genetics. After a quick scan of the screen, he immediately begins pushing buttons and reciting the answers, "Cytosine, Guanine, Adenine and Thymine. The same four things in everything that ever lived." Zach approached with a grumpy expression, "Hey, don't wander off, all right? Mom's not paying me for babysitting."

"Gray, is that you?" Claire Dearing's voice was heard behind the two boys, they both turned to see Claire descending the stairs on her phone. "Aunt Claire!" Gray cheered with a wide smile on his face, he runs over with Zach taking long strides behind him and Zara struggling to keep up. Claire continues down the stairs, still talking on the phone, but in a hurry to finish the conversation, "Okay, yeah. No, I'm gonna have to go. My nephews are here." As she hangs up and reaches the bottom, Gray runs up and hugs her. She is clearly overjoyed but unsure of how to properly respond, she awkwardly hugs the fourteen year old back.

The holographic projection has now changed from an Apatosaurus to a Parasaurolophus next to them as Zach ambles up, still looking moody and emotionally distant as usual, hands stuffed into his pockets. "Hi!" Claire greets, "Oh, oh, my gosh, you're so-- You're so sweet!" Gray pulls out of the hug with a smile standing next to Zach as Zara joins them. "Whoa, Zach! Last time I saw you, you were like..." Claire held her hand to about Gray's height, "That must've been, what? Four, five years ago?" Zach remained stoic as he corrected her guess, "Uh, eight. Eight years. But, you know, close." She nod awkwardly before smiling, "So I see you already got your wristbands and this is for food."

Claire handed Gray an envelope with the Jurassic World logo on it just as footsteps approached behind the boys. "Oh, free food, huh?" Brooke spoke as she grinned, the two boys turned around to look at the new voice. "Ah, and Brooklyn here will be taking care of you and acting as your tour guide for the day," Claire explained as Zara moved to stand with her. "Oh... my... God..." Gray breathed out in shock seeing his idol standing in front of him, "You're Brooklyn Malcolm!!" Brooke smiled at him before stepping forward and holding out her hand, "You can call me Brooke." Gray took her hand and was beaming as he spoke, "I'm Gray!" She giggled and let go of his hand before turning to the older boy.

Zach Mitchell was completely awestruck by the girl standing in front of him. She was wearing a black tank top that hung fairly low and shorts that stop above her mid-thigh revealing her smooth legs, her button-up was hanging from her waist where she had tied it up. Her doe brown eyes stared back into his while her soft lips were formed into a sweet smile and the small layer of sweat from the humidity of Costa Rica seemed to make her skin glow. "And you are?" Brooke asked as she looked at the handsome boy, his short dark brown hair was a slightly messy but his eyes seemed to pull her in enough to elicit a spark of intrigue through Brooke's mind.

"I'm Zach," Zach answered after clearing his throat, she grinned at him before looking at Claire. "Don't you worry, Claire. I'll make sure they have fun today so you can show how boring you are tomorrow," Brooke teased making Claire shake her head fondly, moments like these reminded her that the young woman was a spawn of Ian Malcolm. "Alright, so Brooke's got you covered today and tomorrow, I will take you into the control room, show you behind the scenes and all of that," Claire promised her nephews. Zach subtly rolled his eyes while Gray frowned slightly, though he was happy to be near Brooke, he had hoped to spend time with his aunt. "Okay, so I will see you tonight at, uh..." Claire trailed off as her phone began ringing.

"Answer your phone, get work over with and they'll see you tonight," Brooke took charge and sent Zach a wink before turning around, "Follow me, boys. Let's have some fun!" Gray was quick to follow behind her, he immediately began asking her questions while Zach followed behind them. "Gray, don't annoy her," Zach scolded his little brother. "It's okay, Zach. I think he's cute," Brooke assured the older Mitchell making Gray flush a light pink at being complimented by his idol. Zach huffed at her statement and reached for his phone when Brooke added, "Must get it from his older brother." Zach turned his gaze to Brooke who smirked at him before she grabbed Gray's hand and led him towards the Petting Zoo so he could touch a real Dinosaur.

Zach blushed at her addition, he felt his heart skip a beat at a gorgeous woman like her complimenting him. He followed behind the two as they reached the crowded petting zoo, Zach bit back a irritated groan before noticing Brooke leading Gray into a separate pen where a baby Triceratops was wondering around alone with one of its three horns broken. "What happened to her?" Zach asked as he followed them, he was ignoring the subtle glare sent by the male worker that had stepped to the side. "She had a small fight with her older sister and unfortunately, she was not the winner between them," Brooke answered as she lightly brushed her fingers down the Trike's snout receiving a soft growl in response.

"Will she grow to the standard size of a Triceratops?" Gray asked with wide eyes as he pet the Dinosaur. "She sure will," Brooke replied enjoying the pure joy on Gray's face as he looked at the Triceratops. Zach went to speak when Brooke's phone rang, she pulled it from her pocket and smiled slightly. "Excuse me for a moment," Brooke told them before she stepped to the side and answered the phone call, "Hey Owen, what's up?" Zach pouted slightly hearing her say a man's name along with the smile on her face, he felt a stir of jealousy; only been a few hours and he was already interested in a pretty girl who called him cute. 'I'm so screwed,' Zach thought to himself before turning back to his brother who was playing with the Triceratops.

"Why'd you not come back?" Owen asked, he had been concerned when Brooke didn't let him know why Claire was requesting her presence. "Oh, uh, sorry. Claire has asked me to be the tour guide for her nephews while she deals with some new thing for the park," Brooke replied to him as she glanced back at the Mitchell brothers, her eyes lingering on Zach as he fondly rolled his eyes at Gray's laughter when he tumbled over. "Sounds like fun, babysitting children. Tell me she's at least paying extra?" Owen said as he leaned on the patio of their shared flat, a beer in his free hand. "Oh yeah but, uh, they're teenagers. Well, Gray is fourteen and Zach is eighteen, like me," Brooke responded with a soft smile watching Zach help his brother off of the ground.

"Is he cute?" Owen teased with a smirk making Brooke huff and roll her eyes, though her attention was taken when Zach locked eyes with her and he smiled slightly before looking away. "As a matter of fact, Owen, he is very cute," Brooke replied with a shake of her head, "I'll be home late tonight. See you then." Owen chuckled, "Alright. Be safe, see you for dinner." Brooke hung up before looking at the time on her phone, she smirked and moved towards the brothers. "Trixie will be getting fed soon, wanna go see it?" Brooke asked Gray who turned to her with a grin. "THE TRIXIE?!" Gray asked in reference to the Tyrannosaurus Rex in Brooklyn's autobiography. "Yes, Gray. My girl, Trixie," Brooke replied with a laugh.

Zach continued to trail behind Brooklyn and Gray as the fourteen year old continued to ask Brooke questions about her book, her parents and finally, about Jurassic World itself. Brooke answered every question the boy asked with a smile on her face, she was used to being asked questions but Gray had this joyful presence that made them seem unique compared to Journalists and Scientists. Zach listened to the two though he looked down at his phone reading through the messages from his ex, she was still adamant about them talking and fixing things. "You okay?" Brooke asked Zach, he looked up to see that Gray had rushed to a vending machine for food. "Uh, I'm fine," Zach replied with a nonchalant shrug.

"See, I would believe you however, that frown on your face doesn't say 'i'm fine'," Brooke stated with a light smile, "I don't mean to push for answers but... it may help talking to someone." Zach sighed and shoved his phone into his back pocket, he turned his head away uncertain he wanted to talk about his ex-girlfriend with a potential interest at the risk of ruining anything. "Could it be a girl? I could help with that," Brooke offered gaining his attention, he raised an amused brow while Brooke cleared her throat, "You know... 'cause I'm a girl and I understand... most girls..." Zach smirked while Brooke sighed, "Okay. Maybe not really, but I'm pretty good with advice, ask anyone who works here."

Zach chuckled at that before looking to the side as they entered the walkway that allowed people to look into Trixie's paddock to witness her consuming her food or just wondering around. "Uh, it's... my ex girlfriend actually," Zach told her, Brooke looked at him shocked which he caught. "What?" Zach asked a little defensively. "It's just... I'm shocked by the ex part, I mean you're...." Brooke trailed off with a blush while Zach smirked and stopped as Gray pushed through the crowd to watch Trixie leaving the two young adults. "I'm what?" Zach asked as he leaned closer to Brooke, she bit down on her bottom lip. "Attractive..." Brooke muttered as they stood close to each other, Brooke was really feeling the effects of being surrounded by older people constantly which meant being around someone her age was... different.

Living on the island meant that Brooke never really thought about relationships or things like that as she didn't really have any attractions towards anybody around her. Brooke knew that they had crowds of being often but most people who saw her or even spoke to her only knew her as Brooklyn Malcolm, the daughter of Ian Malcolm and Sofia Diaz, and the Dinosaur whisperer. But the way Zach was with her wasn't like that, he seemed intrigued by her but not all over her like some of the male workers who take up the summer jobs for really good pay; those people were the ones she avoided. Plus, Brooklyn was like her father in the romance sector, she was forward and unashamed to test the possibilities of finding a future partner; not a future ex like her father.

Zach wasn't sure what was coming over him as he leaned in closer but the sound of his phone ringing caused the two to jump apart, he bit back a groan and pulled out his phone while Brooke rubbed the back of her neck. "I'll go watch Gray," Brooke told Zach before she scurried away after the younger boy, Zach noticed her flustered expression and smirked to himself before answering his mother's call. "Hey, Mom," Zach greeted as his gaze trailed over to Brooke leading Gray towards a different area, he slowly trailed behind them. "You were supposed to call me when you landed. Are you having fun?" Karen asked her son. "Yeah, I guess. Aunt Claire gave us passes, so we don't have to wait in line," Zach answered her as Brooke motioned for him to step into the room she lead Gray into.

"Wait, she's not with you?" Karen asked in concern. "Uh, no. But we've got a pretty... pretty good tour guide. Gray's idol, Brooklyn Malcolm," Zach replied to his mother as Brooke lead Gray over to a platform that stood at a good height. "Oh really? Is she as pretty as Gray always claims?" Karen asked light-heartedly despite being upset with her sister for leaving the boys alone with a tour guide. "Uh, yeah, look... she's showing us some pretty cool things so I'll call tonight," Zach told his mother. "Okay, Zach. Tell Gray that I said I love you. Love you Zach," Karen told her son. "Yeah, okay. Bye," Zach hung up and slipped his phone into his back pocket before approaching Brooke and standing just behind her. "What are we doing in here?" Zach asked startling Brooke who turned her head to look up at him.

"You'll see," Brooke answered with a wink before stepping outside leaving the Mitchell brothers watching as she adjusted a mic in her hand. "Hello everyone! How are you feeling? You want to see Trixie today?" Brooke spoke into the mic gaining the attention of the people in the walkway, "Well, I wasn't scheduled on but I know Trix will be happy to see me so, let's give a nice warm welcome to my girl, Trixie!" They all cheered as Trixie the Tyrannosaurus Rex approached Brooke from the trees, a growl echoing from her throat. "Did you know that the alterations that our scientists did to our Dinosaurs changed how they look and sound? As for Trixie here, she had a few changes made to her sound," Brooke informed the crowd, a cheery smile on her face that made Zach smile slightly; transfixed by her personality.

"For example, Trixie roar," Brooke communicated and Trixie immediately roared loudly for all to hear, the crowd cheered and looked on in awe. "Ooh, that's gonna leave a headache. But did you know that a T-Rex would actually rumble rather than roar? The sound would surround and vibrate in the area which is definitely scarier to what Trixie here can do," Brooke added as she held out her hand, Trixie moved forward and rested her snout against her palm. "And remember, Tyrannosaurs are based on movement. If you stay still, they cannot see you. Now, how about we let Trixie eat," Brooke finished off before stepping back and pushing a button to let the goat out of his pen, Trixie immediately rushing for it. "Bon appetite," Brooke added before putting the mic away and closing the barrier door.

"That was awesome!" Gray exclaimed with wide eyes, "Is that true? Would they rumble instead of roar?" Brooke smiled and nodded, "Many have theories but I know personally that many of the Dinosaurs had alterations to make them bigger and scarier for the crowds appeasement." Gray was in awe finding that out, he walked up to the glass barrier watching as Trixie snatched up the goat and began consuming it. "Pretty impressive," Zach complimented Brooke who smiled his way. "That was the goal," Brooke flirted before turning to Gray, "Wanna go see the Mosasauras?" Gray turned to her and nodded instantly, she grabbed his hand in her own before lightly nudging Zach and leading them away from Trixie's paddock to Molly's tank.
