Hello everyone! Been a long time, I was busy with communities and other stuff so I had no time to show you the process. But today I'll show you the "magazine" type of cover with canvas. So follow along. Ohh I recommend using "Canva" on the laptop because it's easier to handle. But phone/iPad/tablet is fine.

Step 1 :: Open canva and search for Wattpad book cover. Click on create a blank cover. 

Step 2 :: Look for any image you wanna add. Could be anything, just make sure the background of that pic is one color.

Step 3 :: Upload your image and adjust it to your liking.

Step 4 :: I want to go with black & white so I'm gonna edit the image.  Go to Edit Image and click see all in Filters

I chose Street and if u would like, you can go back and click see all beside Adjust. I played a little with all the adjustments to see what I like. So I recommend you also try. 

Step 5 :: Go to text & Add a heading. Search for Noto Serif Display ExtraC (I chose the 1st one). you can also use Lora OR ALTA for the "magazine" type. Add your title, I did mine in all uppercase letters. 

Step 6 :: Go to Text Color and change your text to whatever color you prefer. I picked white to contrast the dark theme of my picture, change the text size if you want. Once that is done, place the title text anywhere. 

Optional :: I want to Effect and chose the Shadow effect for my text. I wanted the text to make some impact but not too much so I adjusted to my liking. 

For the "magazine" type, we need 3-4 quotes so look for your fav. 

Step 8 :: Pick the same text and add your quotes, size 20 should be fine. Make sure Alignment is right if you are putting the quote on the right side & left on the left side. After that click on spacing and adjust Line Spacing. 

My line spacing is 0.96

Step 9 :: For the quote, chose a word to highlight, and go to text color to change that word color. It will look like this ^

Step 10 :: and some more text quotes and make a few changes if you would like. And that's it!

I hope y'all enjoyed this & hope looks good. I haven't made this type of cover in a longgg time because I'm more into other types of covers. I always thought this type of cover looks so elegant and its easy to create which is good for beginners. I started with this type when I go into making covers. I tried to explain more with words this time.
