-you are at a party and some guy comes up to you and won't leave you alone. Then Dixie sees and acts like a old friend to get you away from the situation.

(y/n) was leaning against a wall watching everyone around her. She didn't like parties, but her friend begged her to go with her and then she ditched (y/n) for some guy she met. So currently she was standing in the corner of the kitchen quietly scrolling through her phone.

"Excuse me." A guy said walking up to her. "Hi." She said back. "I just wanted to come over and talk to you. You looked a little lonely." He said showing a nice smile. "Well my friend ditched me and i really don't wanna be here." She said bluntly. The guy seemed nice, but she likes girls and it was pretty obvious he was flirting.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" He asked. She shook her head no. "Well, my name is Diego." He said putting his hand out for her to shake. (y/n) gripped his hand and shook it. "I'm (y/n). It's nice to meet you." She said trying not show her annoyance. "Do you want a drink?" He asked. "I'm good. Thanks though." (y/n) replied.

"Look, I'm gonna head home." She said starting to walk away, but he put his arm out in front of her. "Why?" He asked moving too close for her liking. "I don't really like parties." She answered. "Can I come with you?" He asked eager. "No." She shook her head. Diego wrapped his hand around her wrist tightly. "Wh-" He started to talk, but was cut off by a girl rushing over to them.

"Oh my god! Is that you?" The unknown girl said. "It is! Oh it's so good to see you." She exclaimed wrapping (y/n) in a hug. "It's been forever." She said pulling away giving (y/n) a look to go along with it. "Who are you?" Diego asked. "I'm Dixie. We went to the same middle school." The freckled girl answered. "We need to catch up. How about we go back to my place and we can talk?" Dixie suggested. "Yeah that sounds great." (y/n) smiled back. "Great! Let's go. Bye." Dixie said quickly pulling her away from Diego.

"Thank you." (y/n) said once they were out of the party. "For saving me from him." Dixie smiled "No problem. You were obviously uncomfortable and girls gotta stick together." She said nudging (y/n). She nodded back smiling.

"Well, since this party's kinda boring, do you wanna go get some drinks?" Dixie offered. "I'm not old enough to drink." (y/n) replied. "Me either, but there's this gas station I know of and they have awesome slurpees." Dixie said. "I'll pay." (y/n) laughed and nodded.
