a/n: might take the descriptions out cause i think it's better when you don't know what's gonna happen

Dixie glanced over at (y/n), who was plugging her phone into the charger, before she laid down in the bed next to her. She moved over and cuddled into (y/n)'s chest as she wrapped her arms around her and brushed her hair to the side.

"I love you." Dixie whispered. She felt (y/n) tense up and stop her actions. "You don't have to say it back until you want to. I just want you to know that I do." (y/n) stayed quiet, but started to rub her hand up and down Dixie's arm and placed a kiss on top of Dixie's head. (y/n) did love Dixie, but she wasn't ready to say it out loud. She's heard those words before, but they didn't mean anything to the last person who told her. They threw them out at her like it was nothing. She just wanted to know Dixie truly meant them.

"Ready?" Dixie asked walking up behind (y/n) and wrapping her arms around her waist as she got ready for their date.

"Yeah." (y/n) replied as she finished putting on her jewelry. Dixie nodded and grabbed her hand while they left the house and got into the car. Dixie got into the drivers seat and drove them to the restaurant. They walked in and let the waiters guide them to their table.

"What would you both like to drink?" The waitress asked politely.

"I'll have a coke, please." (y/n) smiled.

"Me too." Dixie said. The waitress wrote down their orders and walked away from the table. Dixie noticed (y/n) staring at her deep in thought. She reached over the table and grabbed her hand. "What are you thinking about?"

"I love you." (y/n) said.

"You don't have to say it back if you're not ready." Dixie said. She was happy (y/n) said it, but she didn't want her to feel forced to say it.

"I know, but I want to." (y/n) said. "I was scared to say it earlier because I don't say it a lot, but I love you. I'm sure of it." Dixie smiled and squeezed (y/n)'s hand.

"I love you, too." Dixie said.

I'm working on all the requests tonight. I want to get as much as possible done because next week I have midterms and I don't know if I'll have anytime to write, but I'll try to write whenever I can.
