˚જ⁀➴ FORKS, WASHINGTON. a small town about an hour west of port angles. a town where nothing happens. the community is close, very tight knit. neighbor looks out for their neighbor. and friends become family.

a town so small that when a family moved in from alaska it was all anyone could talk about... for two years.

that is until two girls join the likes of the pale faces.

charlie swan, chief of police, has always been a simple man. all he really needed was a beer, the game and his closest friends. and most importantly, is two daughters.

but, for reasons he had yet to deduce, his oldest stopped visiting him when she was twelve and he only really got an email every once in a while.

his youngest, though, loved her summers in forks. she loved her dad and her friends and mostly, she loved that she didn't have to put up with the heat of arizona.

so, when phil, the swan sisters' step-father, has to travel for his career their mother desperately wants to go with him and the girls find a solution...

⚘‎ nova speaks┆cori's back!!!! i started the original version of this book, the awkward swan series, years ago. i wanna say 2019 but it's been so long that i can't remember. i do remember working on the old version and i remember being super proud of it.

but, the writing was crap, the grammar was awful and the plot was massively lacking.

so, here i rewrite it! this rewrite has been in the works for years and i think i rewrote the first chapter three or four times until i finally got to a place that i like and i am so very proud of this book and everything to come!

i love cori so much and i now understand her better and i think i can better write her and i think i can better weave her into the story.

to those of you who were around when the original was still up, there are gonna be a lot of differences.

and while the relationship between cori and emmett is the main plot of this book, her plot will pick up more in the books to follow! i have a lot planned for cori!!
