I woke up to my room surprisingly being dark, as the curtains weren't opened it was darker than usual. I laid in the dark for a while trying to pull myself into one piece. As I got up from the floor I stumbled, I guess whatever happened to me is still active right now. Soon I pulled myself up, I was concerned for Jiyeon as she drank a lot. She was fast asleep, I knew once she woke up she was going to have a massive headache. I quickly took a quick shower and wore something casual or decent, so I could buy some Bbyeo Haejang-guk (Pork Spine Soup). Google told me it helps with hangovers.

As I got out of the apartment I hesitated to move on. I took a glance at Mark's door, if it wasn't for him I don't know how I would've gotten home safely. I sigh and continued my journey, as I got the soup for Jiyeon I also got some for Mark. I bought it to show him my appreciation for what he did.

I stopped at my apartment to drop off Jiyeon's soup then go give Mark his. As I knocked on the door it took him a while to open it. Once he saw it was me he furrowed his eyebrows.

"H-Hi got some Bbyeo Haejang-guk for you, can I come in?" I hesitated because his glare caught me off guard. He simply just left the door open and I walked in. I sat it on his kitchen counter and I was about to head to the door, I turned around facing him.

"Why are you helping me?" I ask, there was a moment of silence.

"Why do you do this to yourself, why do you treat yourself badly? You're not pathetic, it's okay to show your emotions, don't hide it. If your hurting it's ok to show it. Don't show a character that doesn't define who you are. You define who you are. You are special the way you are..." He sounded serious, he slowly approached me. I stood there trying to process the words he said. Once he was very close he cupped my cheek. At this moment it's like time froze.

"I'll open the door to your heart without the key."

He leaned forward, closing the gap between us. I was shocked, I didn't do anything but stood still. When I finally came to my senses I pushed him away and went out the door. As I got in my apartment, I slid down my door. My heart was beating so fast, what's wrong with him?! I don't even know how I'm supposed to function right now. I heard a door open, I looked up to see Jiyeon already awake.

"Good morning, how do you feel?" I ask trying to ignore my emotions right now.

"My head hurts!" She whines.

"I got some Bbyeo Haejang-guk for you. It will help you with your hangover, by the way you better thank Jackson for bringing your wasted self here." I say. Jiyeon started eating and I was just playing games on my phone.

After a while Jiyeon got herself ready to go home, I companied Jiyeon to her house. I had two stops to make before I went home, I went to the hospital my brother was in. He was sleeping soundly and I just sat there looking at him. I frowned as I looked at him, "Who just could've done this to him, it couldn't be my mom." I thought. I went closer caressing his hair. I heard the door open and I turned quickly to see who it was, It was my parents.

"Oh, GoEun! I didn't know you were coming today." My mom said, I just gave her a faint smile. Why do I feel like this situation could've been prevented? As we stayed there for a while, we went to visit my aunt's house. My mom said it's because I haven't seen her in a while but I know she is the one who misses her sister and her niece. My aunt has a daughter whose name is Eunseo, is only 3 years old, she is so adorable so at least I'm not lonely when we get there.

Once we got there my aunt and mom hugged each other tightly. As I greeted my aunt and her husband, then I went to the baby's room. I haven't been here in a while but it wasn't hard to find. It was like she just woke up, she stared at me as if she didn't know me. She raised her hands indicating me to pick her up. I picked her up and went out of the room.

"GoEun, Snow has missed you so much!" My aunt said, I was confused at first then a small white dog came running towards me. I stood on the couch, frightened by the dog.

"GoEun I thought you liked dogs, why are you on the couch?" My mom asked.

"O-oh I have Eunseo in my hands, Snow might jump on me, we don't want that right," I say.

"Oh, that makes sense..." My mom said.

After staying there for a while, my parents finally took me home. We were talking about the basic stuff like school and life at the receptionist area. While we were talking I glanced to the left and saw Mark approaching us.

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs.Kim!" He said and bowed at them.

"Oh hello! Are you a friend of GoEun?" My mon asked.

"Yes, my name is Mark Tuan." He smiles at my mom.

"He was just about to help me carry something in my room, let's go, Mark, bye mom and dad!" I say while pushing him to the elevator.

"Really? You didn't need to do that." I say as I pressed the number floor.

"I've never met your parents before so I had to greet them." He says and I sigh. We were standing in silence waiting for the elevator to get to our floor. All of a sudden I remembered what happened while we were in his apartment. I started to turn red, why did I get in an elevator with him?! I glanced at him and saw a smirk on his face. Luckily, the elevator reached our floor and I dashed to my room. I know once we go back to school, it's going to be a long day, especially with him.

Unknown POV

"I see you have awoken."

"Wha- Wh- What's going on?"

"Let me put it simple for you, your old self is dead but a new one has risen."

A man in black whispered to the person.

"Like she told us it is time to change your identity. You are now Lee Eunjeong, welcome to your new life."

They thought it was so easy to get away with something like that when you're with a feisty one they'll fight back. That led to marks on her body, Lesson one: Always do as your told.

As her old identity doesn't exist anymore, a new identity was given to her. She was now known as Lee Eunjeong, a home-schooled child with no siblings, in despair but lonely at the same time. Rarely goes out of her house, doesn't have any friends. How sad could her life get?

In order for an identity to be successful certain characteristics must change. Lee Eunjeong dyed her hair black to cancel out the highlights in her hair. Had to wear blue contacts, I mean she actually needed them anyways. She had to wear an ankle bracelet in case she tried to run away.

"What did I do to deserve this?" Eunjeong thought and wished it could end soon. She doesn't want to feel the pain anymore, where was her guardian angel? As she cried and scream for them to let her go, everything didn't go as planned. New marks were created after situating her. Lesson two: Don't talk

Eunjeong's marks didn't put her in her place yet. She was almost successful to escape but she needed someone's help before it could be completed. She couldn't even make it past the front door. She got more than marks on her body, even worse. Lesson three: don't try and escape.

"It's time for your school lesson if you don't behave you'll know what will happen." Eunjeong heard but didn't reply, all she did was look at her hands. She took the ring off her finger and hid it, it was the only way for her to be identified incase of an escape. Waiting for someone to hold her and comfort her. At least she is thankful that they got someone to teach her what she's missing in school.

"Here, you will take this pill everyday. If you don't you'll see what will happen to you so I suggest you do."

Eunjeong took her time to swallow the pill so they forced it down her throat. Whatever was in the pill made Eunjeong feel sick and weak. Everything was blurry, all of a sudden she felt a sudden pain rushing through her body. As much as she wanted to scream she thought of the second lesson. This feeling didn't happen for only now, it happened for days. It was if she was in hell. That pain would last for 2 hours and a half.

Then she thought of a smart idea, to fake swallow and hid them under her bed. As long as she acted like she took it they'll leave her alone.
