LUNAR ANNOUNCES NEW GIRL GROUP: CHERISE

Lunar is said to be debuting four new groups this year and after Cherise will be one of them!

The group is said to have 10 members and will make their debut the same day as Zenith, who will be releasing their first full album in June - July. The group is set to originally have 7 members but after a brief discussion, Cherise has decided to add 3 more members for their debut!

Cherise however, will be debuting with a mini album compared to Zenith. No information has been revealed yet aside from the opening of an official Instagram account last night

CHERISE REVEALS ITS FIRST TWO MEMBERS: HYUNJOO & YESEUL

Cherise has just revealed its first two members via Twitter! It is said that each week, two new members will be revealed and the first ones to be revealed are Heo Hyunjoo & Kyun Yeseul!

Hyunjoo will take on the role of lead dancer and visual. Aside from being an actress, Hyunjoo is also a skilled professional dancer and is known to have acted in several dramas when she was young. She was born in 1995, making her one of the oldest

Yeseul will be one of the three main vocalists as well as the visual and maknae. She was born in 2005, making her 10 years younger than Hyunjoo. She is the younger sister of Reverie's Sohee and MXS' Hyunbin and is well known for playing the role of Ji-Young in Miracle in Cell No. 7

The two were already known in the industry for being actresses so it seems like the other members will also be well known like them

CHERISE REVEALS THEIR THIRD AND FOURTH MEMBER: AKARI & MUSA

Cherise revealed two more members around 3AM through their social medias. Like what fans and trainees alike had predicted, it's none other than Fujimori Akari and Kim Musa!

Akari has already made a name for herself through the survival show Produce 48 in which she gained extreme popularity. However, she failed to make it in the debut lineup after ranking 13th. Akari is also the older sister of Zenith's Aki and will take on the main rapper, visual, and center of the group.

Like Akari, Musa is also known to be extremely popular. With her also participating in Produce 48 along with Akari. She is also currently in the girl group Bevy who will make their comeback tomorrow with the mini album Bloomage. Like in Bevy, Musa will take on the role of main dancer and now the second main vocalist of Cherise.

The two will be joining Yeseul and Hyunjoo in the upcoming group which is said to debut on the same day as Zenith.

CHERISE REVEALS TWO MORE MEMBERS: YVETTE & MING XI

Cherise revealed their fifth and sixth member just last night at 3AM. Confirmed to be joining the lineup is Yvette and Ming Xi!

Yvette is the fourth and final visual the group will have and aside from that, she will also be the second main dancer as well as the face of the group. Yvette originated from France and is known to be a part of an elite dance academy prior to moving in Korea.

Ming Xi will be the third and final main vocalist and she will also be one of the two lead dancers. She is a former trainee under SM Entertainment where she was set to debut as a soloist however, it was cancelled last minute thus moving to Lunar wherein she will finally make her debut!

MYSTIC & EUNJI ARE THE NEXT MEMBERS OF CHERISE

With Cherise's member reveals coming to an end, the company had revealed their seventh and eighth member: Mystic and Eunji!

Mystic, who's real name is Otori Haruhi, already had a background as a writer and dance trainee thus auditioning for Lunar last 2020 and is now debuting as the lead dancer and lead rapper of Cherise. Born in 1994, she will also be the oldest and the leader of the group.

Eunji is already a familiar face in the industry. Last 2021, she debuted as a member of Bevy but didn't get any lines nor screen time thus people immediately forgetting about her. Nothing has been heard of Eunji since Bevy's ultimate hiatus until now, where she will be debuting in Cherise as their vocalist and rapper! Fans hope to see that she will finally be able to show her full potential as an artist in this new group

The last two members will be revealed tomorrow and fans couldn't get any more excited for it

LAST CHERISE MEMBERS REVEALED

Cherise is finally complete! Lunar just revealed the last two members earlier than the usual and they're names are Harper and Lia!

Harper will take on the lead vocalist role.
She is the sister of upcoming idol, Zenith's Aidan and is set to debut alongside him as Zenith will debut in the same day as Cherise!

Lia is already known for her part in Bevy last 2020 but sadly, it didn't last long as a scandal occurred. Ever since, Lia has stayed quiet with some speculating that she has left Lunar for good. Those speculations were debunked as she is confirmed as the last member of Cherise!

Congrats to the 10 girls!
