evangeline sat in front of her piano, her curly hair pulled into a messy bun, and wearing a baggy hoodie that just so happened to be one of the many items of clothing dylan had left at her apartment.

her phone sat perched on the piano above the keys, and she sighed heavily before pressing the button to start recording.

her music room was dimly lit to where the only things that were visible were her body, the piano, and the couch in the background.

"um, i wrote this song last night about being the guilty one in a relationship, but i wrote it from his perspective, or at least i tried. so, here it goes, this one is called 'the ones i love'." evangeline explains her inspiration behind the song, the brown haired boy that she liked so much coming to mind when she was speaking.

she pauses for a seconds before placing her hands on the keys, and starting the song.

"sit in your car, wait in the dark
radio is up and so is your guard
you don't know what to say"

"you're faking a smile, you say that you're fine
and maybe it'll all work out in time
you've always been good that way" she sung recalling all of the times dylan had called her out when she was faking her happiness and he noticed.

as she sung through the pre chorus, memories running through her brain after every lyric, she reached the chorus, singing lightly, even though it was meant to be sung with a bit of edge.

"seems like I always hurt the ones I love
and I watch you cry, 'cause I wasn't enough
watch you disappearing down the road
seems like I always hurt the ones I love the most
ones I love the most
seems like I always hurt the ones I love the most"

she tried not to get emotional for the sake of the video, but thinking about dylan, how strongly she felt about him, and how he never seemed to realize when he was hurting her made her tear up.

evangeline knew that she would never admit any of this to to him any time soon, for the sake of their friendship and the band, but there was a small part of her wishing he was standing right there in front of her, listening to how she felt.

little did she know, she absentmindedly left her apartment door unlocked, allowing dylan to walk in freely when he came to drop off some food he had gotten her, and even though she didn't know, her wish came true, as the boy was standing outside the door to her music room, listening to the entire song with a heavy heart and a guilty mind.

karly sat her phone down next her keyboard, smiling at the boy on the other side of her screen.

ever since the party, her and troy had been texting and calling nonstop, and she had to admit, she really enjoyed the brunettes company.

"play me something." troy says, as he watches karly get comfortable in front of her keyboard.

karly eyes him, shaking her head. "no, i couldn't." she laughs sheepishly, suddenly getting shy.

"cmon, i know you can play, hell you're in a band." he urges her.

she sighs, giving into his request. "okay, um, the band and i wrote this song a few months ago, but i came up with most of the melody."

karly starts playing a dream like melody keyboard on the keyboard, letting herself remember the time when they made most of this song in the studio with aspen.

she remembered that day vividly, in fact it was one of the funnest times she'd had in the studio and it really solidified their relationship as not just a band, but true friends.

that day, karly started playing a random melody on the piano as they were brainstorming, and dylan being dylan, caught onto it quickly, grabbing his guitar and started to building the melody.

slowly leilani and tommy strummed their basses and found a rhythm that worked with the melody, and cierra came up with her own drum pattern.

evangeline then hummed a voice melody, pulled out her notepad, and began to write lyrics. after about 30 minutes of messing around with all of the different melodie's and changing lyrics here and there, they had a solid chorus and played it all together, live, and that was how their song "take me away" came to be. and all of them could agree that it was some of the most fun they'd had making music, and it was together.

before she knew it, the song was over, and she played the very last note. as she looked back at her phone, she notices troy with the softest smile on his face.

"what?" she questions, leaning back and absentmindedly pulling at the bottom of her straightened hair.

"that was amazing, karly." he says simply. the compliment makes her blush slightly, her head dropped so that he wouldn't see.

"thank you, that song is really special to me because we did it together, you know?" she tells him. he nods his head at her, a sincere look on his face.

"we'll it's really late, so i should go because i have studio time in the morning. thanks for listening to our music." karly smiles, picking her phone up from the piano.

"no problem, play something else for me another time?" troy questions. karly laughs, but nods her head at him, a satisfied smile spreading across his face.

"bye karly."

"bye troy." karly said as she hung up, a small grin evident on her face.
