𝐓𝐚𝐞𝐡𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐯

Today was a hectic day , already that Ha-na was really annoying me, now I'm walking home since I kinda dropped my wallet somewhere now I have to work part time jobs for me and my siblings school fees and food.

I entered inside only to find my younger sister, Minji writing her homework. I went near her and kissed her forehead in which she smiled at me and told me sit down next to her.

" How was your first day, oppa? ".

" It was great Minji-ah, where's Jake? ".

I asked her in which she just signalled me towards his room.

" He keeps telling me, he's tired of kids making fun of him cause he always brings the same food to lunch oppa ".

She told me with tears visible in her eyes making my heart clenched, I promised mom I'd keep them happy.

I immediately wiped those tears that were begging to fall down in a few seconds making her bite her lips and stare at the ground while sobbing lightly.

" Minji-ah, don't cry please, I promise one day you and Jake will be having you two want and I'll promise you that ".

I reassured her making her just nod her head and turned around to continue completing her homework.

I stood up and went straight inside Jake's room only to find his room messed up with Papers and scrambling in the wall.

" Jake ".

I called him calmly , but once he turned my mentally cursed myself  I couldn't protect this innocent soul.

" hey what happened, did you get bullied, who did this to you tell me?"

I saw him just shaking his head continuously while tears where falling down his cheeks.

" h-hyung, I can't do this anymore ".

" Hey don't say that ".

I told him making him shake his head.

" I-i wished appa didn't leave us alone here ".

He told me with his voice cracking every time he finished a word. But my tight on him tightened as he mentioned about our father who abandoned us and eomma to another woman who was younger and way rich that's what he claimed.

" I'm sorry Jake, but I promise you one day you and Minji will be living the greatest days of your lives I promise ".

I promised him, making him hug me tightly and soon he slept in my arms making me lay him down on his bed and clean up his room before entering outside.

I looked at Minji and found her already in her room, setting her bed.

I quietly went outside to visit mom at the hospital since it's already night so I can't take the kids now that is.

𝐀𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥

I was patiently waiting for my name to be called, well it seemed quite crowded here today. After what had seemed to be a hour my name was finally called.

I soon entered the room where my mom was being treated I entered inside only to find my unconsciously laying in bed, I breathed in heavily not wanting to break down here.

" Eomma, how have you been, are you doing okay? "

I asked while I squeezed her hand, but she neither responded just like last time.

" Jake and Minji are missing you so much, I'm sorry but I can't keep my promise. I know you told me that promises are meant to be broken but I can't eomma they're my siblings and I can't just let them down like this ".

I said as tears started rolling down my cheeks but soon the doctor came in with an uneasy expression on her face making me tense up immediately.

" Is there something wrong, doctor? "

I asked her I asked her in which she nodded her head .

" I sorry Mr Kim, but it feels like need surgery now, I'm afraid her lungs are dying on her and it will cost a lot ".

" Meaning ? ".

" It means Mr Kim, that this surgery cause a bit more cash than usual ".

I felt like my whole world had stopped, I can't even be earning a living and now u have to pay for my mom's medical bills.

" H-how much is it? ".

" it's a total 1 Million Won ".

Wth!!!!! I can't even earn hundreds and now Million where will I get that much money from.

" I can give you two weeks to think about it Mr Kim, if you can't provide us with that then we'll have no other choice but to transfer her somewhere else".

I just nodded my head before going outside of the hospital.
