"Bryceyyy." Jody called from the kitchen. "Wanna watch The Price Is Right with me?"

"Yeah, in a minute!" he called, looking at his phone oddly.

"What's wrong with your tone?" she asked, looking over as she saw him walking from his room. "What's wrong with your face?"

"Sam." he said in return, pulling the apartment door open to see her standing there. "Samantha, what can I do for you?"

"Hi, sweetie!" Jody called from the couch with a wave.

"Hi." she smiled, looking to Bryce. "Can I borrow you for just, like, one second?"

"Okay, but, my time is very limit. I'm suppose to be watching The Price Is Right." he said, walking out of the apartments and shutting the door. "Come to return our hooligan?"

"Not yet." she walked toward her car, leaning over the side and grabbing an envelope. "This is for you."

"What? Am I getting mail shipped to your house now?" he frowned his eyebrows, taking the envelope and flipping it over to show the Mars symbol he'd taught her how to spray paint. "Uh, oh. Someone's turned us in for graffiti?"

"Just open it." she said in annoyance, leaning on her car with a grin.

Bryce tore the envelope with his pinkie, pulling out a red card and flipping it open.

Prom will be aMARSing if you go with me?

Bryce tried to hold back a grin, looking at her with risen eyebrows. "You spelt amazing wrong."

"I hate you." she shook her head, accepting the hug as Bryce gave her a small spin in the parking lot of the Reseda apartments.

"Do you think Demetri and Eli are gonna dance together?" Bryce leaned on the punch table with Sam as they turned toward the two boys stood a few feet away.

"Hum." Sam thought about it as he passed her the cup. "Do you know if they're super official yet?"

"I mean, it's kinda, like, official but not official official." he explained with a knowing nod. "You know?"

Sam hummed. "Well aware."

"Do you wanna dance?" he offered her with a questionable look. "I made my dad teach me, very awkward. You should be grateful."

Sam grinned, taking his hand. "Extremely grateful."

He gave her a spin while leading toward the dance glowing floor, a tug on her arm once they reached the middle. Sam smiled as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders. "How great am I for a beginner?"

"Egh, seven out of ten." she shrugged with a grin.

"Seven?" Bryce gapped in disbelief. "I was expected, at least, an eight."

"Seven point five?" she offered, getting another spin, unexpected. "Maybe an eight."

"I'll take it." he cracked a grin, pulling her in just as their eyes caught sight of Robby and Tory walking into the gym together. Sam didn't expect it, gapping in their direction. "I didn't know that was a thing now."

"Neither did I." she looked oddly. "I didn't even know he was allowed to come here after what happened."

"Just pretended you don't even notice they're there. That's all they want, you know? To get a reaction out of you." Bryce spoke as Sam looked back up at him. "It's really easy to get one too."

"Is it really?" she frowned her eyebrows.

Bryce gave a small snort with a nod. "Yeah, you have very high emotions about everything."

"Imagine feeling them." she said in return as the slow song ended. "My feet hurt."

"Johnny is to blame." he lead her off the dance floor and toward the hallway. "I think it's cool you're training with him on the side."

"Yeah, my dad would flip." Sam laughed slightly as they walked back to his car. "Maybe Eli and Demetri will take our advice?"

"Hopefully." Bryce opened the door. "Until your feet stop hurting."

Sam got into the passengers seat as Bryce started his car up. The faint music of Back to the Old House, the 2011 remake, played faintly while the stereo lit up the dark car a sage green shade. A new color he got after liking the shade of spray paint he'd bought. Sam turned in her seat to look over at him. "Do you think prom is one of those nights people actually remember forever?"

"I think people just want to pretend like it was the best night of their lives." Bryce said honestly as he met her eye. "It's, like, they want so badly for their lives to have something interesting that happened at least once that they pretend that dancing in a hot gym with a bunch of teachers watching your ever move, is the best night ever."

"Maybe that's why everyone remembers it forever." Sam joked with a faint laugh. "Because it sucked so much."

"You're probably right." Bryce agreed, blinking.

And you never knew, how much I really liked you.

"I did hear there was an after party though." he pointed out with a half grin. "Maybe we can beer pong again."

"That was the first night I actually didn't despise you." Sam cracked a grin, her pinkie touched his. "Even though it's a little fuzzy."

"Just a little." Bryce mocked her with a grin, nodding his head. "Well, i'm glad I decided to go that night."

"I'm glad you did too." Sam hummed, staring over at him as Bryce rose his eyebrows at the way she'd been looking at him. "Why are you look-"

She was cut off by him leaning over and cupping her face in a kiss. Sam was planning to make the first move, taken off guard when he did so. But, still, kissed him back with just as much passion as she planned to do before.

"Jesus, have you been practicing?" Bryce asked in disbelief as Sam got a ball in the cup again, making him drink it. "You're smoking me."

"Maybe you just aren't as good as you thought you were." she pointed out with a scrunched face and a nod. "I mean, i'm barley trying."

"Oh yeah?" he hummed. "Is that why you look like you're concentrating real hard?"

"I just need a drink." she waved him off, nodding to the many empty cups he had. "Considering I haven't had to drink one yet. Let's do another game."

Bryce exhaled, nodding. "Okay, you've gotta drive though."

Sam smiled. "Okay."

As she walked away, Bryce walked inside for a half second to see if he could find Eli and ask if him and Demetri danced. She headed up the stairs, figuring neither of them would be content sitting in the crowded living room. "Meat? E?"

"Bryce." but it wasn't Demetri, and it wasn't Eli either. "Didn't think you could put the drinks down."

Bryce stared back at Robby, the first alone moment they'd had since what happened to his brother. "What are you lurking around for? Looking for someone else to attack and assault?"

"Just the bathroom, actually." he hummed as he stood infront of him. "Hawk had it coming, he turned his back on us."

"Yeah, because you people are crazy." he said in return with a look of disbelief.

"He was the same way not too long ago." Robby shrugged as he gave Bryce a small smile. "But, can't blame that entirely on Cobra Kai. He learned all that from you, didn't he?"

Bryce held his head up a little higher, taken back by Robbys confidence. "Maybe you're just as crazy as you think Cobra Kai is."

Bryce waiting for Robby to walk past him. In his mind, he swore to keep it in check until the All Valley. To beat him then, to avenge his brother. But, they hadn't been alone since it happened either. "I think you're right."

Robby turned around again, getting a foot to the chest as he stumbled back. Bryce swung at him, Robby blocking it as he tried to kick in Bryce's direction, having it blocked as well. His hands locked around Robby's arm, pulling him in closer. "Mr.LaRusso teach you this?"

"Nah, your dad did." Bryce glared, head butting him harshly as Robby gave a stumble. Before he could recover, Bryce kicked Robby in the chest as he rolled down the stairs, hitting the kitchen floor at the bottom of the steps with a groan.

Bryce exhaled, adjusting his tux as he walked down the steps to meet him at the bottom. "Should have saw that coming."

As he headed back outside, he was met with a dripping of water Sam. "Woah, lady. What happened?"

"Fight." she exhaled, nodding to his bleeding nose. "You?"

"Fight." he agreed, looking toward the door. "Wanna go hang out at my house with Picasso?"

Sam smiled slightly, grabbing his hand as they left the house.

"Oh my god." Sam spoke in a panic as they pulled up to the apartments, the flashing lights of the ambulance hitting their eyes. "What hap-"

"Mom!" Bruce yelled out as he pulled himself out of the car, seeing them wheeling her out.

"Brycey!" she called loudly. "Tell these idiots to let me go!"

He gapped at her bleeding hands, gashes all the way up to her elbows. "What the hell happened?"

"She broke the glass trying to get into one your neighbors cars." the paramedic spoke.

"It was my car!" she shouted as they lifted her into the ambulance. "Oh, Bryce! Don't let them take me away!"

Bryce looked back at Sam. "I'm so sorry."

"No, go." she shook her head quickly as he got into the ambulance.

"It was my car!" Jody yelled as Bryce grabbed her bleeding hand.

"Mom. Mama. Look, stop." he stopped her manic state with a hand on her face. "You don't have a car."
