"Oh my god!" Lolly called as Karter showed up, towing Bryce's car behind her. "What in the name of tarnations happened here?"

"Sorry, Lolly." Bryce apologized, jumping out of the back as he latched onto Sams hand to help her out. "We got stuck."

"You don't say?" Demetri laughed, looking out the door and snacking on some form of crab dip.

"You guys didn't get stuck out there?" Sam gave an insane look, picking up Picasso.

"Can we have this discussion after the two, or three, of you get cleaned up?" Lolly suggested, Karter grabbing her bags. "Please?"

Bryce lead Sam behind the house. "She has something against messes."

"Is your car gonna be okay?" she asked, heading for the water hose with him. "She probably thinks i'm a disgusting pig now."

"Oh, it's okay." Bryce sprayed her head to rid the mud. "Second first impressions are always better, anyways."

"Yeah, now i'm just gonna sleep in her guest bedroom." Sam said bitterly. "I can't believe Demetri and Eli got out completely clean."

"They probably took a different route." he hummed, whipping her face of the mud. "Jackasses."

"Totally." Sam agreed, moving Picasso so Bryce could hose him off next.

"You two look much better." Lolly smiled as Sam and Bryce came down stairs after a real shower that didn't consist of a water hose. "You went down Mackenzie?"

"Where'd all that mud come from?" Bryce shook his head, hugging her tightly. "Where's Pop?"

"He's trying to show that brother of yours how to flip a hamburger on the grill." she chuckled, pulling back and looked at him. "Oh, and it rained here last night, actually. You didn't get any in The Valley?"

"No, we were all clean." he shook his head, doing a double take to Sam. He reached for her shoulders. "Oh, Lolly, this is Samantha LaRusso."

"Yes, Eli told me all about her." she gushed, Bryce mentally cursed at his brother while Lolly hugged her. "You look much better without all that mud on you."

"Well, that was his fault." Sam put the blame on Bryce.

"Usually is." the older woman joked in return, getting an offended look. "Samantha, you're not a vegetarian, are you?"

"Not anymore, no." she shook her head.

"Oh, what happened?" Lolly asked curiously, Bryce stood awkwardly.

"Woke up one morning really wanting bacon." the brunette admitted with a faint chuckle. "Never looked back sense."

"My sons wife is a vegetarian, and we make meatless options, and she still throws a fit." Lolly dropped her voice to a whisper. "Don't tell her I said that."

"Okay, let's not involve her in the family drama yet." Bryce grabbed Sams shoulder. "When are they gonna be here? Tomorrow?"

"Yeah, we didn't know you guys were coming up early. Karters been here a week already." she leaded the two of them toward the back doors. "Which is completely fine, we love the company."

"I just realized I met your grandparents covered in mud and your mom when I was barley conscious." Sam mumbled back to Bryce. "Now I have to meet you dad tomorrow?"

"Well, when I met your dad, all he knew was that I was a monster to his little girl." Bryce hummed, squeezing Sams shoulders as they headed out back. "I think you'll be okay."

"So, you took the wrong road?" Eli rose his eyebrows, looking away from the grill. "Did you not get my text?"

"I did not." Bryce hummed, accepting Karters hug and giving his grandad a high five behind her back. "Ugh, this is Sam."

"Yes, we've heard a lot about Sam." Pop hummed as he shook her hand. "Do you like lemonade?"

Sam blinked. "Sure, I love lemonade."

"Don't you give them alcohol, David!" Lolly called from the picnic table.

"I won't!" be called back, dropping his voice to a whisper. "Unless you want a little."

Sam blinked in shock. "N-No, i'm all good."

"Oh, you brought a good one this time." Karter teased as she eyed Sam. "Shes cuter then the other one, too."

"Karter." Bryce warned her with a pleading look.

"It's a compliment!" she tossed her hands up with a wink in Sams direction. "Did you tell her about what happened when the sun goes down?"

"What?" Sam looked up to Bryce.

"She's not really the type." Bryce shook his head toward Karter, giving a pleading look with his eyes.

"What type?" Sam tried to be involved.

"Don't talk for her." Karter looked to Sam with a grin. "There's a bar that serves under twenty-one, we go all the time. You wanna come?"

Sam blinked in shock. "Isn't that illegal?"

"Only if you rat the owners out." she shrugged in response. "So, are you in?"

"You didn't bring your friends this time, Karter?" Bryce looked around for any distraction.

"Sure, sounds fun." Sam confirmed with a nod of her head.

"So, places like this really exist." Sam confirmed as the group snuck out late thatnight, coming across the bar near the end of the road. "I thought it was just a rumor."

"Not a rumor." Bryce laughed slightly, leading her in. "The bartender is really cool. He knows us."

"Oh, look who it is!" Ray grinned as he saw Eli and Demetri. "I haven't seen you two in a while."

"What's up, Ray?" Eli smiled at him.

"Karter, you're back." Ray gave her a knowing look. "Didn't have enough fun last night?"

"Nope!" she popped the p, taking a seat.

"Oh, and if it isn't the disgrace. I thought your family disowned you." Ray put his hands on his hips as he looked at Bryce.

"Oh yeah?" Bryce sat back with a nod. "And I thought you overdosed."

"Aye, I don't die." Ray slapped his heart. "Up and running in no time. Who's this pretty lady?"

"This is Sam." Bryce pulled her chair closer to his. "Get her whatever she wants, she's with me."

Sam grinned slightly.

"Can we get a round of Melon Balls?" Karter leaned on the counter with a tight lipped grin. "Thank youuu."

"What's a Melon Ball?" Sam whispered to Bryce, his hand on her lower back to get her use, and comfortable, being here.

"Vodka, pineapple juice, and melon liqueur." he met her eye, keeping his voice low. "It's not bad. Just a little sour."

"I should be able to handle my liquor this time." Sam inhaled with a nod. "I'll just...take it slow."

"Yeah, totally." he grinned, passing her the shot they laid before him. "Let's cheers to something."

Sam thought about it. "Cheers to my dad being seven hours away?"

"Very much cheers." he laughed in return, the two taking the shot as their faces squinted on sync.

"Ow." Sam held her throat. "That was...an interesting flavor."

"That's not the best one." Bryce coughed slightly. "Ray, can I have two blow jobs?"

Sam nearly fell off her chair, coughing on her spit. Bryce's laughed at her. "You're gonna love this."

"Wha-" she started, stopping as two shots were laid infront of them. "That's a name?"

"Yes." he giggled, passing one to her. "Try that one."

Sam downed it, humming with a nod. "That is much better."

"Right?" he agreed with a hum. "The proper way to do it is with no hands."

"There's a proper way?" she looked in disbelief, getting a nod. "Okay, let's go it."

Ray put another one infront of her. "Ready?"

"Mhm." Bryce hummed, him and Sam dipping their heads down on sync, both managing, after a few seconds, to tip the shot back with just their mouths. "Woo!"

"Woo!" Sam mimicked him.
